In this 6 game Mega Campaign A.I only Time-lapse, we travel through 2911 yrs of alt-history, from Imperator: Rome (running the Invictus Mod) to Crusader Kings III to Europa Universalis 4 to Victoria 2 to Hearts of Iron 4 and finally to Stellaris!
Watch as Empires rise and fall, who will survive the test of time!!

  • I love the little knock on effects that happen in mega campaigns like this. Like how rome in imperator never managed to establish a foot hold on the british isle thus leading to them being a bastion of drudic faith and culture through out the rest of the campaign

  • Disappointed you didn't include Christianity mod, but we got some Orthodoxes not really important, but ok. I'd like to think about Hellenic and Old Hellenic (It makes even more sense, because iirc it was Eleusinian in Imperator and CK) being this world version of Catholic and Orthodox and Mithraism being first and foremost "Crusades" target (as they are warlike religion similar to how Islam was)

    • @@Pigraider268 Simply put they would not exist in most timelines as they were an incredibly rare and unlikely to happen event. Your view is deterministic, any timeline that starts in imperator means Christianity likely should not exist.

  • It's a shame the world powers are all pretty ingrained by the time of Hoi4, as that game is where wars can make the biggest difference but needs a push to really have anything happen due to focuses.

  • I feel like you could do better with Stellaris, like give us an overview of the starting and ending governments(Ethics and Civics) of the countries from the Megacampaign, and maybe include significant factions from HOI4 via the lost colony Origin. Heck, you could just same the Stellaris nations after the factions, like if you did so here we could have the "League of Nations" and "Latin Bloc" instead of "Space Spain" and "Space Rome", though maybe a little creativity could be good, like renaming the League of Nations to "The Democratic League" or "League of X"(X being whatever you'd call their planet if their a lost colony" and the Latin Bloc to "The Latin Sphere" or "Latin Empire", though given the context of the Latin Bloc and how you made them a federation between the largest members, it makes enough sense to be space rome. Given the Machine Rebellion, I'd also would of liked to see the Status of Earth as well, and maybe a Start and end overview of the home planets/capitals of the converted nations would be good too. Going with the Lost Colony idea for other Major factions would also help with at least ONE of the converted nations to do with, which we at least saw Rome do better than many of the other ones, as well as maybe reducing the number of the AI, but that depends I guess.

  • I just love to see culture and religion changes as time progresses. my most favorite part is seeing CK3 religions, you have Hellenic, probably reformed into the Eleusinian and also Hellenic itself in places? then you have old hellenic, then you have an evolution of Hellenic in the form of Sol Invictus or as its known as Mithraism in the Makedonico-Persian Empire. The Orthodox faith somehow in the north Russia. Its amazing just to look at it. Edit: i need to know, what mods are used if any? for religions and nations or what not?

    • You can indeed, I've ran several mega campaigns with Invictus, extended timeline etc. Just run the game with the mods as normal, then convert when done, and it should work.

  • Imagine at the end its just no matter what gonna be earth and after all that war and epic stories and battle of different eras basically different worlds from the beautiful untouched planes to early medieval forests and ruins to kolonization of different islands new discovered to a world filled with war to a single planet in space only to be consumed by some Galactic Empire that cant be defeated despite all that experience in war. 😂

    • I actually did, Imperator uses AUC instead of BC/AD, so when I finish in the year 1621 AUC, this is actually the year 867 AD

  • would like to know what to do with the time gap between imperator and ck3. If you convert from the end date to the beginning everyone becomes 800 years old and quickly dies. If you keep playing the game becomes a slog because it doesnt have any post 20BC content.

    • The 'Timeline Extension for Invictus' mod helps a bit. Or you could always put the game in observer mode and leave it for a few hours (and hope the AI doesn't mess your Empire up too much!)

    • @@GeneralPol yea i did all of that but it works poorly (some TE events dont activate if you didnt start with the mod enabled and ai in the observer mode governed so great that my empire split in to 5 in 100 years). Currently trying the fallen eagle mod for ck3 with its earlier starting date, will see if i could manage to remain playing the game for 1000 years.

    • one big mistake that i think i did during conversion is enabled to transfer legions as special troops. Now all big nations have these 100k strong free armies and the power balance will probably not change.
