Ajuraan going from literal great power to decentralised is kinda cursed. More cursed is the fact that siberean , south american and australian decentralised nations have Stellaris-like names. Still , I thought it would've been way worse , so I am pleasantly surprised

this is mainly because its been out for a little over a week, things are still being finetuned
Nevermind the names, what's truly cursed is Byzantium reappearing after collapsing for 50 years or so
You know, as flawed as Victoria 3 is, can we just take a moment to appreciate that we can finally have mega campaigns where you can zoom out in the Victoria portion?

I am quite suprised at how much africa got decentralised by a converter
Me too, haven't had anytime to look at it much to be honest. Its the 1st release of the convertor, so i'm sure things will change in the future builds
I mean the Vic2 converter literally just erases most of Africa in its default setting
@@CraftsmanOfAwsomenes It is like Africa was erased as "decentralized" nations an be so easily colonized once you research the requirements and little is stoping you from colonization in the game especially mid game

It is, and it should only get better as the convertor is still being worked on.
I love that Sweden just annexed half of North America. It must have been a uniting Scandinavia thing. USA and that portion of Canada were Danish, so when Sweden said "I want to unite Scandinavia", they joined. Don't know why they didn't actually form Scandinavia though.
I enjoyed seeing the Scandinavians control North America, should happen more often!

As polish, I'm not only glad Poland made it through all of it, starting by beating HRE, but also dividing into 3 different countries in CK3. Radicals in Europe Communist in Brazil And the original Polish-lithuanian Commonwealth, one of the major African Nations

@@shahedamere6976 "Fun" isn't everything, and let's not forget relative. People also want a game that accurately simulates the Victorian age the best a game can, and Victoria 3 is far from that.
@@wires-sl7gs how though,war maybe,but the trade system is much more complex but at the same time easy to manage then Vic 2 which I had zero Idea what I was doing.the most important thing to fix is probably the dramatic effects of law changing and make for tech bc you can get machine guns in 1870
@@shahedamere6976 Things barely change, the AI can barely manage the economy and things hardly go by any basis in History, Japan is stuck with the Shogunate 100% of the time for peat sake!
I think the Anbeelds AI mod works with the converter. Don't quote me on that. But it would be cool to watch. I enjoyed this megacampaign, and hope it gets more interesting as they work on the Converter.

Is there a converter from Vic3 to HOI4?
I wonder why the African nations were decentralized. In Eu4 they were developed and had central government, so why would the converter conver them as Decentralized nations?
Its the 1st release of the convertor, i'm sure there is loads the convertor team still have to do...
@@GeneralPol I've talked to Zemurin (one of the converter programmers) and he said that decentralized Africa is a default setting in VIc2 converter and it's the same with this one. I havent downloaded the converter myself yet, so I may be unaware of how the settings look, but apparently you can change that.

Yes I witnessed nations like ajuraan go from being a threat to prevent colonization to being decentralized and being colonization. Hopefully the converter gets fixed as only governmental "tribal" from eu4 should be decentralized.
A decentralized Africa is default setting, I'll have to look at this next time
