    • Oliveira is a great fighter. But he is arrogant. You can't see that in Strickland. Oliveira wears fancy suits. Speaks to himself in third person. His whole house is decorated with his own posters and photo's in frames. You can look up his house tour on KZhead. You'll see what I'm saying. P. S - (I'm expecting some hate for this. 😂)

    • Look at DDPs face and ask yourself if he belongs in that lineup? Sean won the first 2 rounds. Dana thought so, Rogan thought so, betting odds thought so, Eric Nicksick thought so, I thought so. Millions of fans thought so. When Sean also won the 5th round it was damn clear he was 1,2,5. DDP looked like Quasimodo after second round - look at the pic above. Then one of the judges also gave Sean the 3rd... That fight was so poorly judged. DDP is a fake Champion, he couldn't even beat a guy YOU said just jabs and backs up? LOL. What chance does DDP have against Adesanya then? Adesanya was systematically demolished by Strickland, it was epic and nobody can ever take that away from him. Even if they rob him again for Mr CRINGE LORD Driscus Du Pussy, everyone knows who really won that fight. UFC just wants the "REAL AFRICAN" race-war that they had counted on already. Not the first time Sean was robbed - they already did that attempt to cancel him when Sean fought Cannonier... Now Sean is the BIGGEST SUPERSTAR ON THEIR ROSTER BY FAR. All it took was a few months and a dozen interviews. He didnt even have to dress up and act a character. If you don't like him I hope you stick around buddy. You sound like the sensitive type though.

    • Me Three Strickland is different from his training / sparring style. His unorthodox approach in the octagon and most importantly his approach on freedom of speech. Also he’s a company man and I respect that. Recently during a press conference. I saw Dana turn around when the crowd was screaming for Strickland. You could see him say wow. And he’s a smart guy he knows what he has with Sean. He’s a superstar

  • I will say his first real mega pay day only just came in that DDP fight defending the belt with his champion ppv pts. I’m actually super curious how, if at all, he might slightly change to stay in contention to get the belt again. He made all those comments about the belt not mattering when he’d yet to enjoy the real benefits of the strap in his first defense pay share. Now that he’s tasted it, I’m interested to see how he talks. Some guys even out, and some talk more to get the spotlight back. Rarely are they just the same, for better or worse.

It was such a close fight and everyone I was watching it with thought Sean won that 5th round. • I appreciate any good MMA abilities. People say "Izzy's one of the best strikers" *(At the start of his UFC days he was BUT now, Izzy's striking & tactics have completely changed) He used to throw combo's, use elbows, knees, clinch fighting, way more dynamic movement & intelligent offensive pacing, risk taking. ~Even tho that proved to be very successful for him.. I have no clue why his coaches & him would change what was working? Nowadays he hardly throws more than 2 strikes in a row. Its more jab, slide shuffle flat footed movement, jab cross, leg kick, all at a pace that's not very intimidating. He's shown he's capable of tapping into a flow state... So idk why he's not been able to flip that switch and tap into those abilities anymore? I'm not saying he can't. I know he can & I hope he does. I'm just being honest that he hasn't tapped into his potential and utilized his abilities in quite some time.. Regardless of all the nonsense online, People will be happy if we see Izzy snap back into it again.

    • @scladoffle2472 How do you mean? You didn't criticize him at all. He jabbed DDP until he looked like Quasimodo. Doubt you could ever do the same to anyone else. That jab just happens to be the best in the entire UFC roster. You are a casual and dont seem to understand how big of a deal that is. Good luck to you on your discovery. Just one day in the future when you feel you have plenty of knowledge about MMA, just go back and watch the Israel fight and the Dricus fight. Sean is a fucking genius to be able to employ such tactics against the best to ever do it. If you dont see how that is special you are clearly a clueless casual. No big deal, have fun and enjoy whatever you do find entertaining. We all did it the same way at first. But once you do learn - go back and watch. There is a reason the izzy v sean fight was the most epic half an hour of the entire 2023 - in any sport. If you missed out on Sean and everything that happened then that sucks for you. Maybe you should pay for the pay-per-views

If that means the extra political wing of ufc fans who care about right wing politics, shitting on people family, sexist remarks, bigot, homophonic remarks yes than that’s Sean but not everyone agrees to that. Give him credit for being a champ but some of the thing he says shouldn’ promoted it makes mma fans fanbase seem toxic and promotes those views which shouldn’t pushed. Even Jon Anik noticed this.

There are MMA fans who do not care about politics either way (left or right). To them, Sean is nothing but a male version of Katlyn Chookagian. If you do not care about what he says and only care about the sport, Sean immediately becomes just a boring point fighter with stinkers like Hermanson and Hall fights, who had one great night against a great fighter.

He has these amazing moments, where my respect for him grows immensely, and then he switches to this attention seeking clown that just feels like an amplification of a type of toxicity martial ARTS doesn't need. It kinda feels like influencer boxing ruined combat sports in general. 'Selling the fight' has become the part that puts me off.
