Trashtalk has become the most important source of marketing in the UFC today but the questions remains: Can You ACTUALLY Go TOO FAR ?

  • Strickland joked about his abuse and abuse in general, what I think happened in that interview is that strickland thought he's already moved passed it and didn't realise that the topic of his abuse would affect him the way it did, it was entirely an emotional response it had no rhyme or reason, and he already said in the press conference that DDP got him bad and that he should've been able to take it since he gives it out to pretty much everyone.

    @Incieal@Incieal3 ай бұрын
    • He even joked that kids these days need to be hit by there parents more. The fact its affects him so much yet he wants to promote it, makes him an absolute lowlife to me.

  • Something I think that has genuinely gone unnoticed and unappreciated is your ability to educate new fans about the older eras of mma, by tying new relevant topics to the days of the past. Bound together by motivation or execution one way or another you have given a path and a sight line for new younger mma fans to become educated and knowledgeable in this sport. For that I appreciate you TFB. Your script writing and concept development truly are great and admirable

  • The difference between Strickland and Du Plessis is that Strickland talks constantly shit about other people so he has to accept that even worse things come back. Leon Edwards is the nicest guy ever and he got attacked by the most personal topic from that C.... Covington just to get under his skin. So in general family, and private stuff should be left out MMA is about respect and values it's not WWE but if someone attacks you verbally you have the right to fight back what Du Plessis did. And the way how he and Strickland acted at the press conference was being a real man and shaking hands after that incident. Also what Colby will never be.

  • Du Plessis didn't go too far. Strickland did. He crossed the line to physical threats, with a weapon, outside of the octagon. Words are words. How you roll with them is your business, what risks fighters want to take with backlash is their choice, and the obvious one, and why a lot don't go there, is the egg all over one's face if they lose. Everyone wants a rematch, and if DDP could just turn up and fight, he'd probably be fine with it. But I wouldn't be wishing the drama queen, Sean, on anyone twice in a row.

If they've got kids (or kids that look up to them) they're representing being a professional and being a man. But where that line is its hard to say.
