I have a Cement stick shift Apex, love the car. Don't use it much, Sunday cruising or a night out on the town. Suspension is way to stiff for a daily driver unless you live in an area with nicely paved roads.
Same here. My back already starts to hurt after my 30 minute daily commute. I'm considering another daily driver and making the Apex the weekend cruiser.
I have the apex2022 I know what I got thas why I don't complain if you whant comfort get a rav4 or regular toyota criticizing the apex is like buying a motorcycle and complaining that it has only 2 wheels there is a car fo every one out there you shust have to search

I own a 21 Apex with a 6MT identical to the one shown in the video. Cosmetically, it's a beautiful car inside and out. Performance is a little lacking, but I enjoy the fact I can get 36MPG while looking "sporty". The track tuned suspension is a "Catch-22" in my opinion. The handling is amazing. In fact one of the best cars I've ever driven on a curvy road. On the downside you will feel every bump, pothole, and small crack on the road. Thankfully the driver's sides has extra cushion, but after a 2 hour road trip it hurts! I bought the car due to the fact I was able to get the pricing down to a XSE corolla. Otherwise the markup isn't worth it! Toyota please consider a Turbo 2.0 for the 22 Apex model or for the GR corolla.

The Corolla Apex looks sporty as Toyota Vios GR-Sport, it’s just a blast!
All show and no go. They should have at least turboed it to compete with the Si or the N-Line. Something for us to get excited about until the GR arrives

A turbo would bump the price and power above GR86 and kill it's sales numbers and hurt GR Corolla a bit.

Honestly if this car weighed less, it would be great with the power (169 hp). I’d say 2800lbs with 169 hp would be fine.
