    • I inherited my Mother’s 95 Corolla in 2010. It sat and was used as an emergency car til about 2015 when my Ford died suddenly. Made the Corolla my main car since my work was only a 15 mile commute round trip. Still going strong. Just recently replaced some ORIGINAL (95)parts. Radiator, rear shocks, alternator. When I had my mechanic change transmission fluid recently at 165k miles he said he was stunned. Showed the fluid Pan and all. Said fluid was like brand new and all the parts were clean and shiny. Asked why I had it done so soon? I’m like you’ve worked on my car for the last 5 years. As long as I had the car (2010) I’ve never had it changed. He just shook his head. 😂

It's entire system still runs flawless and have had zero issues. I only have about 225k miles in it but it still sounds brand new. If I'm being honest stick with any of the 2003-2005 Corollas.

AWD, 8" ground clearance, and a great manual transmission is a great all around sporty vehicle you can take camping over dirt roads and trails. The Corolla Hatch is too low and too small for this. By offering this combination you can take on both Mazda cx-30 for sporty and Subaru Crosstrek for campy.

    @MrLM002@MrLM0022 жыл бұрын
    • What is that and why would it make it better?

      @lykoszero@lykoszero2 жыл бұрын
    • @@lykoszero It's AWD provided by a little electric motor driving the rear wheels. For the Prius AWD-e I'm pretty sure its a 7hp motor that is on all the time from 0-6 MPH and kicks on as needed from 7-43 MPH. So it helps you get going and kicks on as needed. for a couple MPG hit at worst with a sub $1500 cost increase there's almost no reason to not get AWD-e as an option, it'll certainly have a lower depreciation rate than the FWD only models. According to Toyota engineers it would be very easy to give the Corolla hybrid AWD-e as it and the Prius are built off the same platform and I imagine they could build an AWD-e Corolla hybrid using mostly off the shelf parts. In my neck of the woods there are many roads that in the winter legally require you to have AWD/4WD with snow tires or that you put on chains. Chains are highly likely to damage your car and they force you to stay under 30 MPH which limits your momentum, which when going uphill in the snow and ice is quite vital to not getting stuck. So for me any daily driver has to have AWD or 4WD and the ability to mount snow tires. So that's why they should add AWD-e to the Corolla Hybrid

  • I still got my moms 2003 Corolla and it’s still going stronger than any other car I’ve ever driven, yea it’s got some wear and tear on it but we call her old reliable for a reason, she just don’t quit. But I really would like to get it a tune up and overhaul someday maybe even a little interior upgrade. Point I’m trying to make if I ever buy another car again it definitely gonna be a Toyota

    • Wow, thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We're glad to hear your Corolla is still running well, and we hope it continues to give you the reliability you deserve. ❤️

  • Release the Hybrid in an XLE grade with the AWD-e

    @crisantogarcia6646@crisantogarcia66462 жыл бұрын
    • Honestly I just want the most basic hybrid grade with AWD-e but the lack of AWD-e is the thing keeping me from getting a Corolla and I don't want a Prius.

      @MrLM002@MrLM0022 жыл бұрын
    • I still want to be cocooned in leather so an upgraded cabin in a corolla hybrid with awd-e sounds great. This is coming from a corolla s premium owner though so to each their own.

    • @@crisantogarcia6646 Fair enough. I like the most basic interior I can get, though an electrically heated windshield, heated seats all around, and HUD are quite nice to have when you can have them.

    @MC-mh2ju@MC-mh2ju2 жыл бұрын
    • Hello, thank you for your inquiry. The 2022 Corolla is equipped with a sealed transmission meaning that there is no dipstick. ^EA

    @tcla3854@tcla3854 Жыл бұрын
    • Hi there, the 2022 Corolla Cross has a starting MSRP of $20,425. Vehicle pricing, options, and configurations vary by dealer and region. We suggest contacting your local Toyota dealership for inventory availability and final pricing.

    • @@toyotausa thank you. I currently own a 2015 Avalon but just learned they're discontinuing it. I'm looking for a new vehicle that's more affordable but still in the Toyota family. I may need to downsize to a Corolla or Camry.
