Searching for Giant Cobia and Monster Snapper Fishing, Catch N Cook - 4K

2017 ж. 17 Сәу.

I flew up to go fishing in Destin Florida with Capt. Preston Muller and the goal was to catch my personal best cobia and my first ever red snapper. The cobia were not present, but the snapper bite was on fire! I caught a giant remora suckerfish and as a joke both myself and Capt. Preston agreed to have a Catch N Cook with the remora. We were very surprised with the results.

    • The season for snapper is very small in Florida. Few weeks out of the year for the last couple of years and when they are in season you're only allowed a couple fish per pserson.

  • I was on a research vessel for my marine biology degree and we went out and caught some red snapper off from mississippi. We were in about 300 foot of water by the oil rigs and all we had to do was drop the line to the bottom and you pretty much had a fish every time. I swear it took the line a good minute or so to get to the bottom. It was a lot of fun and being a research vessel we were allowed to keep the red snapper. I could do that all day. We were out there for 12 hours. We started at 12 noon and didn't get in until midnight. We were out way past the chandelier islands.
