    • What the fuck to both of these comments “evolution” and “you need tough love”? I don’t fully agree with mkultras main comment because young boys will play tough sometimes but some of those people are my most trusted friends. Anyone in high school or above should not lay hands on you and seriously hurt you unless it’s freak accident and they should stop and help you right after. Also it should only be very light hands on you even below high school or it should always be mutually consenting and stop when one person is no longer into it. Above middle school we are too strong to play nice and actual hits should never happen unless it’s sports or boxing etc.

    • I agree. I think the bottom line here is that due to Cody's conceit and Narcissism, like most people with this disorder on a really high scale, suffered a Narcissistic injury several months ago, when he tried showing up at her house, wanting to talk to her, etc. And he couldn't get anywhere. He couldn't make any progress. She actually turns him down,,,,HIM!!!! For a short little Mexican guy. It isn't that he really loved her; it's that for guys like this, the relationship isn't over, until THEY say it's over.; and the fact that she chose a short, Mexican over him really cut him on the raw. That's why he tries to get even by throwing her boyfriend under the bus; but it doesn't work, because his reputation precedes him. Unfortunately, in the past 40 years I've seen this kind of thing over and over (only once did it end up with it devolving into Murder One like this) The sad thing is that with guys like this, it is never their fault. He deserves jail, because like Bruce says, I'm not sure these people can change.

    • I don't think it had anything to do with his motive vs Toni his girlfriend likely gaslighting him into beating her which then turned to murder. • I agree completely. I said this exact same thing a few weeks ago, and everyone came down on me over it; that he had never said he "hated" Mexicans, etc. But, as you pointed out, guys like this, especially those who have anger issues and are not used to rejection, feel that "they' are the ones who decide the relationship is over. The idea that he is this tall athlete, and her boyfriend is this short Mexican guy definitely got under his skin. He mentions it no less than 3 times in a row talking to the police! Then, makes up an imaginary argument that Michaela had with her boyfriend, the short Mexican guy, and that she had been crying. After all, he throws in his ethnicity AND his shortness, both factors he thinks are relevant, and you can tell he feels these are derogatory.

    • No, it has nothing to do with that but everything to do with his narcissism, his entitlement. Those who have knowledge about this disorder can clearly see those signs. Ex he has cheated on several of his girlfriends, this is a sign of entitlement. His aggression is another sign etc. Someone who never takes responsibility for their own behaviour but always blames others and plays victim is another sign again. This is where school, parents should react and not wait until something worse happens like in this case.

And sometimes I think someone seems guilty in an interview but they’re not. You never really know. I remember one was a mother that was k1lled, the son was super weird and the first thing he asked the cops was “is she all in one piece, is she in tact” and I’m like who says that?! But he was innocent. Just a weirdo.

Repeated, stressful interrogation can result in false confessions in people with a strong affinity for, or fear of, law enforcement and a personality where one has learned to "go along to get along" due to a narcissist or abuser in their life, or even just natural quirks. All the body language cues in the world don't alter reality, and everyone reacts differently to situations. It works most of the time with some of the people, some of the time with most of the people, and not at all or too well with the outliers. It needs to be coupled with actual evidence or knowledge that could not have been gained peripherally.

  • Since he's innocent, I'm glad the boyfriend had an airtight alibi because unfortunately he seems to be sort of naïve and he might inadvertently say something that would cause suspicion to fall on him and he could easily be blamed for her disappearance when in fact he had nothing to do with what happened to her. He appeared to be very concerned about her and he didn't hesitate to say that he thought something bad might have happened to her. I think if he were guilty when the detective asked him if he thought she was safe somewhere he would have said that she probably was safe because she had done this before and this was surely just another time when she ran away and there was no cause for alarm. Instead, he immediately said no, because while she had run away previously, when she ran away she told people where she was and this time was different. The information he gave should be helpful to the police. What a shame that a young person cannot walk to school and back home again without some monster doing the unthinkable to her. My thoughts and prayers are for her family.

Example: Leaning forward can be seen as a challenge to authority while leaning back is the perp trying to distance themselves from the interrogator. Also leaning forward can be seen as confidence in their innocence while leaning back can be seen as them being relaxed because they know they are innocent.

All I am saying is that anyone with a brain would know that a female in their 20s would NOT have dementia. You’ll never outsmart them since it’s not just the ones in the room but all the ones watching who are paying attention to every detail and like they say, two heads are better than one so a dozen of even dumb cops is oft better than 1 highly intelligent person. Lawyer. Lawyer. Lawyer. Don’t drink anything. Don’t touch anything they can keep. Don’t take a lie detector test. Don’t give dna willingly. Hopefully we will never be in such a spot tho but after seeing that one guy who was a cop, and was wrongly convicted of k1lling his wife and young daughter even tho they KNEW who actually did it, he was wrongly convicted multiple times. Bc of incompetent cops. He had a solid alibi and everything. Such a sad case. It was some guy w a foot fetish who actually k1lled his wife and daughter. Seriously. God what was his name. It’s a wild sad frustrating case. Ok I googled it. David Camm. Read up on that guy if you’ve not heard of that case. That’s exactly why you don’t talk to cops even cops that were your buddies at one point whom you think want to help solve the murd3r of your wife and small child when they had tunnel vision from the get go and this poor man lost everything. His family his freedom his reputation - there will always be people who think he was involved in the k1llings now. Always. Ugh it sticks with me.

    • I wish the 3 individuals who stole my car in August are caught. We have surveillance of the theft that is how I know there were 3. All appeared to be young men but had hoodies on that obscured their faces and the theft happened at 2:30am as myself, my husband and child were asleep. We discovered the theft when my husband got up for his shift at 4 am. He walked outside and came back in and asked “where’s your car?!?”. The timing of the theft was even more of a kick in the teeth as I had just lost my only sibling in a car crash and fire on June 7th and was heavily grieving. I also only owed 3 more payments on the car. I’m battling lupus and kidney failure and am unable to work in my profession as a registered nurse currently due to that. So I can’t just go out and get another car…bc financing someone who’s unemployed is next to impossible. So those greedy, terrible 3 young men stole more than just my car that morning. They added so much more pain, stress and worry. The car was insured…and I did get the remaining balance of my loan paid and a small check for the blue book value of my 2014 Hyundai Sonata. I’m thankful for at least that much. It just sucks to be victimized that way and there’s really nothing you can do. I know my car is looooong gone by now but it at least would be nice to catch the guys. They dumped a stolen Kia a few parking spots away from where we live. I’d like to say that our police department has been helpful but…no. Absolutely not. I was told a detective would follow up within 24hrs of the theft. Nobody showed up. The stolen Kia was not found by police but by myself and my neighbors ring footage. The responding officer treated my husband and I as if we were in the wrong and repeatedly asked “are you sure you didn’t have another key?”. I’m like NO SIR and even if I did. If I didn’t give someone permission to drive my car that’s still theft. All day everyday. It’s just been hell…. My list to Santa this year as that the punks are caught and spend their Christmas in Metro Jail.
