  • Congratulations Usyk, this victory simply highlights the difference in quality between the good boxers and the great boxers and he most certainly belongs in the latter category. Utterly dominant performance, beat Joshua up and outclassed him throughout, unifying both the cruiserweight and heavyweight division is truly an astonishing achievement. I believe when all is said and done the boxing world will marvel at this mans greatness along with his accomplishments and will be considered one of the greatest to ever lace a pair of boxing gloves.

    • I thought Aj would be 'tougher' too, but I honestly think it was mainly due to Usyk being so good & smart. And Joshua's stamina also isn't as good so if he couldn't hurt him in 1st 8 rounds basically he was gonna lose this fight, and rematch as well i think. i want him to win tho, he should go train with mayweather.

      @bekeneel@bekeneel2 жыл бұрын
    • @@bekeneel did you not see how AJ was fighting, he wasn't even looking for a KO in the first 8 rds he tried to out box Usyk and was made to look stupid. Thats why he came in leaner and lighter as that was their game plan instead of going for power and KO. Even when he caught Usyk in the 6th he didn't follow up looking for the KO! He didn't change things up much in the later stages either just throwing a few heavy shots that hit thin air or Usyks gloves. AJ needs to get rid of Rob McCracken for starters

His marketing team does a better job hyping him up and making sure the spectacle of the venue is on point more than his camp does of making him a warrior. He's got every natural physical advantage someone could be born with but he doesn't have the skills ,adaptability or mental fortitude in the ring. He really needs to show his full potential now because he's making a habit of losing fights everyone expects him to win. If he performed like he did here against Fury he would have gotten slaughtered. Honestly looking at this and some stuff I read somewhere about him retiring to a jungle or something, I'm pretty sure he's looking for one last big payday and wants to exit the sport. • I’m British but I always thought it would go either one of two ways; either Joshua would be more imposing with his size and back uysk into a corner and catch him with a couple power 1-2s or uysk will just outbox him for 12 rounds. When Joshua came in light for the fight I knew in the first 10 seconds of the fight uysk had won Joshua needed a Tyson/fury 2 performance but he’s just not good enough IMO
