    • Got to disagree, don’t think Sky were biased at all towards AJ,if anything Adam Smith was again gloating that AJ was defeated, exactly the same way he was when AJ lost to Ruiz. Even more so this time though due to Hearn running off to Dazn. Best business deal ever done because if Hearn had waited on this fight to run to Dazn then he’d never have got that contract & Sky would have re-signed Matchroom for a fraction of what he was currently getting.

It was time to pounce, not time to try and outbox the better boxer. Intriguing fight in which the better man won. Hope AJ rediscovers his attributes in the rematch, it's the only way he has a chance.

  • One of AJ's comments in a pre fight interview about tactics being decided in the ring left me puzzled and worried for him. The result was as expected...A boxing masterclass from Usyk...AJ got schooled in boxing and I swear I saw his soul leave his body by the end of the 10th. He was well behind and knew it in his heart and you could see it in his body language. Lesson...Never underestimate a smaller more skillful tactly superior fighter by appealing to the bigger more powerfully built guy or you'd get the humbling AJ hot last night. His corner did him no favours by stoking his ego all night. Hard road back for him....possible but hard.

    • @S Prasanth if AJ was gonna box. He should have just jabbed, clinch, and ran all night. That might have worked because if you don't get hit and land a little you can gets a points win. Maybe at 238 but his stamina is not stellar. Option 2 is go in at 250 in the rematch all aggression. Body shots, clinching, uppercuts, etc. Could have also tried improving his chin. Idk if it's possible but find out how he can get a better chin if possible. Massive focus on that is needed and stop being afraid of getting hit. Give and take. Definitely no more sticking it center range like a fool. Where Usyk can land and waiting for a big shot. The only way to KO Usyk is with pressure. Constant body shots, constant head shots, and constant pressure. That requires output. He also didnt clinch enough. You backpedal before your enemies land. Backpedal to avoid them being able to land. Or backpedal from a big shot. If you backpedal as a reaction to combos the other guy will just rush forward and tag you. If you get tagged by a flurry, you clinch. Every time he got tagged he should have just clinched Usyk. Instead of backing up and getting himself pelted. With AJ's IQ, the aggressive approach makes more sense.
