    @johnbuckley5458@johnbuckley54582 жыл бұрын
    • His head movement was akin to a prime Mike Tyson as well as his head movement and his chin was constantly tucked in. His upper body movement , how it coincided with his hip movement and his foootwork was nothing but sublime. Usyk snatched Joshuas soul right out of his body by the 8 round. That performance of Usyks is everything that Boxing is about and I consider it the greatest performance of a naturally smaller man beating a true heavyweight since Ezzard Charles took Walcotts title from at Cominsky Park in 1949. We saw something truly maganificent last night.

Love him or hate him Mayweather is beyond doubt easily the greatest fighter since a prime Mike Tyson and Usyks performance is the best I've seen since Floyd dismantled Alvarez. People forget Floyd started at 130lbs and was a huge puncher upto 136lbs. Its just sublime watching a performance like Usyks. What it's all about. 👍

    • I'm one of the rare people that actually shows this guy to win this fight days before. I noticed it Joshua didn't seem to be putting any juice behind his Jabs. You know how sometimes boxers would do that feeling out with their jab and try to get a radar on the reach? If you just watched a couple rounds you'll notice that Joshua is just kind of putting his job out there with no bad intention. Yeah I think she went into a completely defensive mode in reference to his job. That's what it looks like to me. I'm not taking anything away from the winner by saying that. It sounds corny but did you notice one of them seem to have that eye of the tiger like there's Old Rocky movies and one of them did not have the eye the Tiger or strong desire

People talk about Floyd and Andre Ward defence, using every trick in the book. You have Usyk here showing incredible defense through footwork, hand-eye combination and head movement. • I was 50/50 all week on who would win. However as I watched both the ringwalks, I knew AJ would lose. Usyk came out focused. I couldn't see his face but his body language said he was here to do business. AJ was looking everywhere, touching gloves with everyone etc. Don't get me wrong boxing is an entertainment sport and there's nothing wrong with being a showman but you must remain focused and I never felt that with AJ tonight (felt the same with the 1st Ruiz fight) You just can't switch off like that and expect to win, especially at heavyweight.

    • For heavyweight, didn’t see what heavyweight fight should be. Only the strong survives. No big punches or went down. Unlike Andy Ruiz first fight, that was brutal, so as second. Wilder vs fury both were quality fight. Both fighters were throwing bombs. This fight wasn’t like that. Very few solid punches were thrown. AJ looks like an old goat. Usyk should’ve been more aggressive especially when he got some good punches in. But I think rematch would be different. Good job by eddy Hearn fixed the fight. Rematch in Dubai 5 times more money involved, with rematch. Eddy Hearn knows how to fixed money making fights. What he wants is to match AJ vs fury in the battle of kings. Tonight AJ wasn’t AJ. Like I said it wasn’t heavyweight fight that ends up in tko or k.o. Not a brutal fight.

Joshua knew that he could change up his approach in the second Ruiz fight after getting knocked out in their first bout, whereas here Usyk pretty much controlled the fight from start to finish. I’m a big Joshua fan but I think Usyk actually finishes him in the rematch.
