** Why Do We Hunt Hogs? **
Feral hogs are a non-native and invasive species in Texas. Each year hogs cause millions of dollars in damage in the form of damaged crops, contaminated water supplies, broken equipment, transmission of diseases and injury to livestock.
Feral hogs compete with native wildlife for resources and also prey directly on the eggs and young of ground nesting birds and will actively hunt small mammals, frogs, lizards and snakes.
Due to their intelligence, adaptability, and prolific breeding habits, traditional methods of hunting and trapping have been largely ineffective in reducing the feral hog population. The introduction of night vision and thermal optics has greatly increased landowners' ability to mitigate the destruction caused by feral hogs.
Feral swine are not considered game animals in Texas and may be hunted by any means or methods at any time of year.

Consider keeping this content closed from general public or adopt a more respectable approach to hunting hogs. Not only for the pity of the animal but social/mental health too, it`s very disturbing to the untrained eye and the web is open for all ages and backgrounds. people are curious. Please consider. • 1. It can be either, but contracting usually requires some extra paperwork I believe. 2. You can do as you please on private land without informing anyone. The United States has a long history and culture emphasizing individualism, and private property laws reflect that, be it in business regulations, climate regulations, and private property "activities". 3. Yes... Kinda. Wild boar meat itself is higher quality than most pork you find in stores, but wild boars can often have parasites and bacteria that can prove dangerous if not handled properly.

Considering this is in Texas and their activity is protecting farmer crop and lots of farmers are in Texas... they probably don't mind one way or the other.
