📢 Recipe (Ingredients)-----------------------------
1 Egg
3 tbsp (60g) Sweeted condensed milk
1 tsp (3g) Yeast
0.6 cup (140ml) Milk
2 cups (300g) Bread flour/wheat flour
1/2 tsp (3g) Salt
2 tbsp (28g) Unsalted butter
Egg wash
Unsalted butter
Mold size 20x20cm/8‘’x8‘’
170°C (340°F) bake for 20 minutes
📢 Important tips
1. If you use unsweetened condensed milk, please add 25 grams of sugar.
2. Mold size: 9''x9''/20x20cm
4. After baking, brush the surface with butter or condensed milk.

    • In following direction, my dough did rise in the first covering (20 min) but did not rise in all subsequent covering. Do you know what might cause this? I kneaded and tested with window pane test. I kneaded over 14 min after the first 20 min covering, but don’t know why in the next few coverings the dough was always the same size.

    • ​@sl-bodhi maybe you have old yeast? I personally only own plain dry yeast (not instant) so instead of 1 hour I let it stand in an oven with oven light on (the oven light raises the temperature just enough for the dough to start rising) for 2 hours. If it's cold where you live or even chilly temperature the yeast won't activate, if you turn on oven or heat source the bread will slowly start baking which is wrong... so the way I do it, is turn on oven light and let the dough sit in a heavy pan with lid on for 2 hours. I also warm the milk to be warm and add yeast to the milk, while I prepare other ingredients the yeast sort of slowly activates in the warm milk then I pour the yeast and milk as the recipe says.

  • i made this as a dessert for a small dinner party it took a lot of time and it was daunting, but i got it done it wasn't as perfect as the one in the video, but i was very proud with the results and it got rave reviews and i would make it again it was show stopper

  • I made it! Came out great, I used all purpose flour, now this is my go to bread. The condensed milk and salted butter glaze at the end just perfect. I'm going to make little rolls to make sliders 🙂

  • Love this recipe. Have been searching for a good recipe that doesn’t have an overpowering flavor of yeast and this is perfect to my taste. Just one question. Can I prepare the dough a night before and bake it early morning before breakfast? Love the taste and smell of freshly baked bread.

    • @Kathy Davis I haven’t tried it in the air fryer, as far as using milk I use luke warm milk to get the yeast going
