BTW they also work great on Mac. Can use wireless, USB, and 3.5 on Mac. The wireless works just like on PS4, and the vol wheel takes control of the Mac vol bar, again they are great on Mac! PS: Sorry if I miss any comments today, a bit sick :(

Love my CORSAIR, after endless problems with numerous pairs of @Razer Nari headphones - with Razer USBs forever going wrong - I’ve had many months perfect use of my @Corsair Virtuoso and love them.
DAAAMN that mic test was impressive! It's more natural-sounding than the 370 and the G Pro X Wireless.

Im so happy I found your G733 and Virtuoso reviews! I was so so torn between them and I think the Virtuoso won! Main thing that hit me was the RGBs on the G733 being a downside to glasses users.

Thanks for the review, so none of the settings are synced between the devices? No internal storage for side tone or EQ? Hm thats a real bummer. So side tone probably doesn't even work on a ps4?
Nice video! Is the sidetone strong enough? I have Logitech G935 but sidetone is really low, i end up screaming in my apex nights xD

just found your channel and just got this headset. I enjoyed your review and I have to agree the MAIN complaint I have is the ear cups are extremely thin, my ears HURT when using this :/ but its cool because from your channel I also learned about WC earcups so I ordered some of those too !!! I hope they help :)

surround sound on any headset is a joke, never base your purchase off that. they just adjust the eq.
@@TheTechne I mean could you hear the directional sound well ? Because coming from CloudII I hope these are also "ok". Actually bought that headset cuz people said they could hear the enviroment around well thanks to the viritual surround sound. I was playing lots of R6 Siege and I could actually listen my way to where was footsteps, C4 etc. I just hope these also have that same "sense of feeling" if you know what I mean.
@@AlexanderPews yeah for sure. the sound stage is very balanced, you really pick up footsteps well without bass/mids drowning them out
@@AlexanderPews if u want sorround Sennheiser and Astro is the way to go, nothing legit beats them not even the sorround sound on the hyperx orbit s. The Corsair virtuose beats the logitechs sorround sound which was known for a rly good for awhile. Some people have said that the sorround sound is much more detailed when u use the USB c for the headset to activate the high frequency

Hey, another great video man. Just a quick question if you have the time. How would describe the audio quality? Would you describe it as balanced? I bought a pair of Void pros the other day and they are already on the way back to amazon lol. The audio in FPS games seemed like I was underwater in a way. The bass seemed way off with the Voids. Was curious if these were any better in comparison. Thanks again man, you've got a great channel going here.
7:00 now I also have the void pros, and I do enjoy them, buy these have a much more balanced stage, the bass isn't really muddy or over done, everything really stands out. you can also use icue to adjust your eq settings. so all in all compared to the void pro, I would say the vertuoso sounds much more balanced and natural
@@TheTechne Alright great, thanks for the reply man. The Voids were really nice but for the games I play the audio just wasn't quite balanced enough for my taste. A real shame as I love Corsair as a brand. I'll look into this headset further, thanks again and I hope you're feeling better today 🤙

You made me buy the headset I'm so happy with it thanks. The earcups are heating my ears but it's no comparison to my old headset which made grilled steak out of my ears :)

Hey Techne, I know this is an old video but would you suggest this headset or the arctis 7? I was set on this but heard it wasn't super comfy and that, mic quality and sound quality are my biggest things im looking into. Thanks and keep up the videos. Love your energy.
I would go 7's all day. but the mic is a little better on these.

thank you so much for the continued support! heck I have only been doing KZhead for a little over a year now, lol. so your on PC right? if so both are very solid. I really like the aeros, you need to play with them a bit in the software, but once dialed in they are great! also make sure put the arctis 7's on that list. I actually have them on right now, lol

Quick question. If I plug them straight into my ps4 out of the box does the rgb change colours? Or does the rgb change colours only on pc or Mac?
The top of the headset put more pressure on the top of my head then I would like. It's better if you move it foreword a bit, but it's making me wonder if I should return them tbh

Without the ambient room sound bounce, the headset gives better voice recording :D
just got this headset and im a huge fan already. is there a way to find the battery percentage for you headset? i know it shows low/medium/high for the status of the battery, but no percentage option.i cannot for the life of me find it anywhere in the iCUE software, and i cant find any up to date discussions about this on any forums

I've been eyeing out on a new set of wireless gaming headsets on your channel. Would you choose these, Arctis 7 or the ATH-G1WL? I currently have Philips Fidelio X2 and if none of the wireless headsets appeal to me, I may add the Sound BlasterX G6 to my rig. Cheers

A friend was asking if he should even bother getting these for his PS4 pro. I did tell him that the 7.1 wouldn't work and he was ok with that.

the pro's sound much better, and the 7's and pro's are more cozy. the virtuoso and the 7's sound about the same
Comfort, if u have glasses SteelSeries are a no no, but overall steel is more comfortable, audio arctis pro is flat but more "premium" sounding, the mic both pro and 7s are not good, Corsair beats them eaaasslyy.
@@adamyounes6244 SteelSeries not cozy with glasses? I always wear glasses and I gotta say they are on of the best with glasses.

really depends on what regular headphones your looking at. but the one major thing is regular usually don't come with a mic.

How on earth did you not mention the fact that with USB wired connection on PC it goes from 40,000hz to 96,000hz. Honestly its the best feature this headset has, I'm completely blown away with it.
It's good, but defeats the point of it being wireless. I also ordered this headset to replace my faulty g935s, so I can't wait
He also did mention it, just not specifically. He talked about a better sound quality and didn't noticed a difference

I had the same dissatisfaction when I bought it as well but once I downloaded Icue to mess with the Ed setting it sounds really nice

The weight kinda focuses on the very top of my head and it causes some pressure. Maybe my head is just shaped different. That’s the only thing bad about the headset
So there’s absolute no sidetone when using them on a PlayStation? 🥺 It’s so hard to find a good wireless headset with a proper mic and side tone without white noise.

hi ! and thanks for you video, i watch this review and the steelseries wireless. I am looking for headset for using with ps4 (wireless, most solo game, no online fps, so don't need micro), pc (movie and music no gaming) nintendo switch (with usb-c or 3.5mm depending on headset) and smarthphone (music with 3,5mm or bluetooth). The best advantage of steelseries is support of 7.1 with optical wire and dock for me. The corsair look great but if i understand no surround on ps4, but if not playing FPS game maybe a good stereo sound will be better ? usb hir-res only on PC or smarphone even i plug with usb-c on Switch ? I also look at the hyperx cloud flight or maybe classic headphone. I think i will use it most of the time with the switch on the train so i need something easy to store on a bag and with good isolation/noice reduction. Also good sound with ps4 on solo/narrative game, what is the best choice ? Surround is essential for you ? Thanks ! (sorry for this very long comment :) )

Thanks for the review. Although the build quality is great. I don't like the aesthetics of this headset. It's an over-all a white headset, with mostly all black accessories except for the detachable mic.
good point, they should have made the wires/dongle white or gray at least.

Hi! I currently have an ATH M50. The soud is actually very nice but the cable tangling and coiling is really getting on my nerves and Im having a hard time getting them straightened out. Is this worth getting than a Philips SHP9500 (which has a straight cable) for example?
no way. I use the ATHM50X as my daily, (gaming, music, and editing) such a great headset! my fav!!

Hi sir! I managed to straighten my cable by wrapping the cord around a glass with hot water, straightening it by hand, then applying cold water. Do you think wrapping it with duct tape will prevent future tangles?
