Hey love your content man been a fan of your no-script one-take approach of reviewing products. Also love the fact that you always put consumers' interest first and really speak the truth about these products and for that thanks a lot!
It's crazy how you cover pretty much every gaming peripheral release. Gotta say, watching you review headsets always make me start browsing local stores for deals. You're gonna end up making me pull the trigger one of these days
Another Virtuoso product! I’m rocking the XT’s but it looks like I’ll be needing these soon!! Keep up the great content, techne. 👍🏻
Thanks for posting great reviews! Am road tripping through KZhead videos this Sunday evening researching new office desk tech. Learned a lot about headsets here!
Really great video like always! I've always wanted to try open back headphones but I'm almost strictly a FPS gamer but you have me willing to try them now. You give the most relatable reviews for everyday ppl I've ever seen! Really enjoy them!
I was never that fond of the Corsair Virtuoso lineup before, but this one is hands-down Corsair's best looking headset. Love the mesh grills on the sides. Seems like the change they made to their mic kinda downgraded the sound a little, but I honestly like that there's no random hole on the headphones themselves for a mic since it's just attached to the cable. Definitely looks like a solid pair of headphones.
Stellar review per usual. Always very informative and good energy that keeps you watching to the end.
Thanks for the review. I really appreciate the detail you go into with the sound.
Great review! I've been considering the Corsair Virtuoso Wireless headphones, The audio quality seems impressive, and the comfort looks top-notch. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and demonstrating the product!
Great video! I found your channel years ago when you reviewed the Corsair HS75 XB, which I ended up getting from your review, you’ve been by far my go to guy for anything controller or headset related (may have also got the turtle beach controller because of you 👀) thanks again for the quality content!
Love your videos. Great insight and real reviews from a gamer’s perspective. I’ve been eyeing a Corsair headset for quite a while now
fantastic review! Benn wanting a new pc headset for a while in white so i think this has solved the issue for me keep up the great work!
I've been following your channel quite sometime and love the way you do your reviews :) keep it real !!
Love the video, your Headphone reviews are always top-notch and a step above the others.
These look great, appreciate the honest break down in your review. Corsaie hopefully you take some of the recommendations on especially comfort upgrade!
I really like your reviews you cover every thing you even mention if the headset will be good with weird head or while wearing glasses. Nice review!!
The white version is gorgeous. The open back is a game changer
Thx again for a great video!
A few years ago you made me bought a pair of Corsair Virtuoso SE, that I'm still enjoying in my headset collection 😉. Pleasure to hear your thoughts and comparatives with other models, since you always share with us a real usage perspective. Keep it up mate, thanks for everything!
same story here but i'm tempted to buy the audeze maxwell :D
Hey! I really appreciate your casual fun way of reviewing these products without exaggerating. I knew what to expect when I watched your Virtuoso XT review, and I’m very glad I came across your channel when I was looking for a good headset. The Wicked Cushions recommendation was a game changer for me with the XT’s, otherwise I was planning on returning the headset because of the thin pads. I’ve been using that headset and following you ever since, and I thank you again for being a cool guy.
Awesome man! And thank u for the support
Like the esthetics of both but besides that, awesome videos. I'm constantly watching all your reviews even if I'm not specially interested in the product. Keep the great work 💪
Great review! Love diving into your detailed reviews before I buy anything for my gaming setup 👌🏽
Been waiting for another headset to get always appreciate these video thank you!
My fist time seeing a video from you. I really appreciate the detail. Definitely subscribed.
Happy to see you doing great again and feeling happy doing what you love. Keep the good work and we all love you buddy.
Love your videos!! You have got to be the most genuine reviewer! Thanks for all the amazing content.
Corsair is one of the last places I'd look for an open back so this is a good thing to see in the gamer space, incites good competition.
I love corsair! I watch your videos for any mouse/keyboard/headset reviews. You never steered me wrong smiles. Between Corsair and Razer, I have to say I had less problems with Corsair. But you opened my eyes to consider other brands too. Appreciate all your reliable reviews.
always appreciate the reviews. Keep 'em coming Techne!
Thanks for the content. I've always enjoyed Corsair peripherals and being reminded of the quality just helps cement my enjoyment. Cheers!
Your review of the Virtuso XT made me grab a pair not long ago. Nice to see what corsair is doing with the Virtuoso line
Another banger review man. Watching your videos makes me feel like listening to a friend, which is great
I absolutely love your video's and your content! I always watch your video's when I'm trying to decide which headset to buy!
My brother has the original virtouso’s he really likes them. Solid review! Thanks techne 🙏🏻
I agree that the chrome effect on the edges make things look cheap, not to mention its texture traps dirt too. Would be way nicer if they kept that grey metal all the way around.
Love the metal build quality, as a BIG head user I've broken my fair share of headsets (usually a headset a year before they break apart). Its quite a problem in the headset market.
thank you for going over the wicked cushion part just saved me from buying the wrong ones. So far I don't think anyone has come out with replacement pads for these yet.
As someone who has big ears and has had trouble finding headphones that dont pinch my ears these look like they might finally be the one. Also good to see a big brand like corsair bringing open backs to a really big audience this is gonna be a game changer if other companies decide to follow suit.
i love how i see your notification and after a few minutes, i got notifications on others apps about this headsets, now i see why, they look great, i have never used open backs headset before, this looks great for a first experience.
Always love seeing your reviews on headphones. I’ve had the virtuoso SE for a few years now, and have been looking into a higher audio quality pair.
Awesome how you care about your viewers, the headset looks awesome to love the white.
Love the look of these, been curious about open back gaming headsets and this seems to fit the bill, great review as always 👍
You helped me buy my current headset the HS60! Great review!
I was kind of curious to give these a try. Bought myself a Virtuoso XT a few years ago and it was pretty good for not only audio quality but gaming. Only problem was the pressure on my head and sometimes the earpads were a little uncomfortable and hot over time even with wicked cushions. It was a tad bit heavy with the custom pads on.
The best thing about these I think is the support for bigger heads. I’ve recently had my MH751s break, and I’ve been having real troubles finding headset that are comfy for larger heads like mine. Quality products from Corsair as expected and nice review!
Thanks for doing these videos oriented to gaming, there is a amp dac with balance connection plus XLR Port for microphone you can recommend.
As someone who sells tech, an open back pair of gaming headphones is a niche in the market that no one aside from Audio Technica (poorly) have really entered let alone cornered. This is a good move by corsair and I'm happy to see that gaming companies are starting to take note from enthusiasts when adding new features to their gear.
Loved the review! Keep it up Techne!
I would love to try this headset, the way you talked about them made them seem so good!
Thank you techne for reviewing this...very interesting route by Corsair especially with mic that attaches like a headphone...I wonder if this is something that others are also going to follow? Speaking of I am out of headsets now and using my cell phones buds... so wonder if this is good? How was it with glasses and comfort?
I think the piece that's missing here is this is really geared to play in the Elgato Eco System (which is owned by Corsair) giving access to their software and be a companion piece to the wave mics and wave XLR. Solid review of just the headset itself!
A fan of your honest opinion on everything u review, thanks to ur review I pulled the trigger on Maxwell headset and have been enjoying ever since!! Especially with the wicket cushions!
I won!!! Are u serious???
@@DiegoPerez-wm6et No, this is a win spammer XD
@@ilaem1189 lmao damn I fell for it. I was hype for 3 mins to I realized what his name said smh
Great review your reviews are so immersive truly like going to the cinemas at this point 🎉
These looks so dope and the mic quality sounded so clear and crisp.
These seem really well designed I've never used a gaming focused headset I always use ATH-M50 but the gaming headset have come a long way. Good review!
Good review! 👏🏻
Interesting headset, two things I like from what I see, open back and wired, and have to say the I also like that the cables look will hold them self in time. Nice review \m/.
Been really needing a new pair of good headphones to stream with, and these look amazing :O
Those white ones are CLEAN.
They look so clean, it’ll go perfect with my white set up
Great review Techne!
These look really interesting. Currently still using hyper-x could alpha. Would you consider these as bit improvement?
As somebody who has used Astro A40s for the last 5 years, they finally started to have minor issues with headphone jack distortion so I went shopping for a new pair. I knew they were semi open back, but I didn’t realize how much a difference it made to my ears. I tried the Logitech G pro X2 light speed - too rumbly, not very good sound localization I tried the arctic nova pro wired - too rumbly and hollow. Long story short, I love open back. I want to try these.
I like how, yes, it doesn't look too gamer-y look and interesting how is open back. I come from a sennheisser open back which sounds very nice for years but it wasn't really meant for certain games. So these would be awesome to get!
Might be time to swap out my arctis 7x for these. Love your vids. Always very informative with no fluff. Keep it up.
Looks so clean🔥
Awesome review man, i think im going to check out the Turtle beach pros and down the road the steelseries arctis nova. These Corsairs are going on the list. Just as soon as I pay off the Sony H9's. (Currently awaiting arrival) Alot to choose from! None of them are cheap. lol
I love the look of these! I currently use the Corsair HS80s and love them, but I've never tried the Virtuoso's before and the open-back design is intriguing. Be very cool to try out!
Every once in a while, for the sake of convenience I consider using a gaming headset over mic and phones. The Virtuoso Pro's seem to come closer than most. With you on the chrome strip. It was always one of those things that when it peeled off it looked better after you cleaned off the gummy residue.
The white ones look so good! Love the review 👌
Very cool design, nice headset.
Yo, wreck a bike and still pushing out those vids. Cudos for doing headset vids. I wouldn't know where to start. Using seienhauser, sure I miss spelled it, the air ones I think there called. Love them. Anyways, I like open back because I don't like the silence sound. Kinda like being out in the middle of a clear cut and no trees. Hard to explain. But if ya know ya know. Keep on keeping on Technie. ❤❤
Great job as always👍🏻
The Virtuoso Pro looks super sleek and I love the open back design. I wonder how the audio quality compares to others in the same price point like the SteelSeries Arctis Pro.
Thanks great review as always.
Awesome review! Looks like a solid offering here!
Honestly these look really clean. I am currently using some cheap IEM’s for gaming but I’m tempted to upgrade. Maybe I should wait for a wireless versions tho.
I ordered the white ones, will be here on the 21st. Can’t wait! Had the virtuoso xt’s loved the mic but I only play on console so the sound quality was not very good due to not being able to eq. I pray to the headset gods that with these graphene drivers that the sound will be noticeably improved. If not I’ll have to return them.
Do you also use the Elagato Wave microphone for comfortable multiplayer console games on the couch? Or which microphone do you use for that?
Heyyyy! Beard ftw. Thanks for the video. You’re one of the first guys covering it.
Thanks for this review 😊
Between the HS80 MAX and the Virtuoso PRO which do you prefer?
Curiously, does the grates look good when interchanged? Or they look silly? Love the videos techne
Damn it, I just got the virtuoso xt at summer and now I'm curious if the new ones are going to be better.
You killed it brother
I had my hs80 max for about 2 weeks. They sounded amazing but they wouldn’t unmute when I flipped the mic down. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it just wouldn’t. It got so frustrating for me when playing with friends I had to return them. The only temporary fix was to flip the mic up, unplug the dongle and power the headset off then plug them in and turn it on
@the techne what do you think is better for a bit of everything? Maxwell, virtusos pro, or the new blackshark v2????
When it comes to anything from headphones, computers, cellphones, or any other high-tech stuff, I am clueless. Thank you for your insight on headphones. I have been using my brother's old Audio- techs for 13 years, and they're much older now. I have watched your videos to see what headphones I want to buy, if I ever get the money. But those audio techs have been good so far, other than a broken headrest pad. Anyways, thanks again for your input. Take Care & God Bless.
the earpads look so comfortable, this headset is amazing
this is the first gaming headset ive seen in a very long time that has interested me, i cant use closed back headphones for gaming as i hate the congested sound you get when talking with them on, not knowing how loud your're speaking. these open back cans are STUNNING and the metal build seems fantastic. my current headphones are getting to be on their way out so this is perfect timing edit: just finished the video, good god $200 spoinkies is wayyyyyy out my price range. im rocking philips shp9500 and theyre barely $50 - $60 bucks anymore. definitely sticking with what i got
awesome review! I wouldn't mind trying these out during gaming. 🙂
I have watched you for a while now but I have to ask. Does the balance cable really make that big of difference? Keep grinding brother!!
I do like that these seem like they might actually fit my big head. I also really miss having open back headphones. Thank you for all the detailed information and feedback on this headset. I'm definitely off to watch more of your headset videos now! Also thanks for the opportunity to win the white headset! Super excited for that.
Thanks for the detailed review much appreciated my friend 👍
I was taken a little aback by it being wired. Price is fine, I have Audezes, Mezes, and Sennheisers. I wouldn't mind checking these out.
nice review, still leaning towards the audeze maxwell as I like the wireless
Hey techne would you get these or the Maxwells? (Don't really care about wireless just think it's convenient) thanks man
Always a pleasure watching a techne review
Great review! Been looking since my last pair broke.
