You can turn off the "Voice Prompts" in the Setting tab of the Corsair software. You click settings and then click on your peripheral of choice. Enjoy :D. I am using the non-se version.
My guy!! Thanks for that!
@@badseedtech Anytime good sir. Keep on making awesome content as always!
Don't forget you can get battery status and pin it to your taskbar it's kind of buried in the settings.
It's good? Compare void pro

Great content as usual! Amazing close-up macro shots and stellar editing, some master of the booth stuff right here!
That is the most accurate cutted beard I've seen in a long while! ...jealous!
Been waiting on this banger. Perfectly produced video as always my dude.
This is by far the best review of this headset Ive seen. Nice work.
Answered so many questions i had about this headset all in one video review. The few others ive seen only answered a few of this. Top Video thats helped with my decision - thank you :)
Good to see you back, buddy. I was one of your OG subs and I am glad you are back on it.
Great review Brian. Mine should be here this week excited to test them out.
These look good, I might actually gettem. Thanks for the review brother!

Another banger video from one of my favorite tech reviewers?
I am shocked you only have 100k subscribers. Your video content and presentation is top tier.
Thanks man!
Nice review! Good B roll too
Great review dude. Best I’ve seen yet and the BRoll towards the end of the vid is sic.
Wow, thank you man! Trying some new stuff.
BadSeed Tech looks really good dude. I desperately need some more lighting. Some WRGB wands are needed in my gear
I'm really glad you decided to come back and start doing videos again. You've upped your game...both in videos and your beard. Thanks for comparing these to hs70 as i have the hs70 but am thinking of getting virtuoso.
Thanks! Feels great to be back!
Update. I went out and bought the virtuoso. I gotta say, even though the sound was fantastic, the volume in gaming was too quiet. Same with the side tone. The bass was great in music and videos but lacked the impact needed for gaming. I decided these aren't for me. I'll stick with the hs70 for now.
Cool. perfect timing on this review for me as I was looking around for a wireless headset.
Incredible reviews. I used to work in the gaming headset industry on the distribution side. Knew a lot of the big players very well, but fast forward to today and I don’t really see anyone really knocking it out of the park. I am intrigued by the Arctic Pros, but been reading about the quality issues with the plastic cracking. I would have preferred the Sennheiser, but would have been great if you could take the mic off, and have many of the features the Arctis has. Corsair has my interest but I have a big head and my Astro A40s and A50s back in the day hurt like hell. Best set up I ever had for PC gaming and Xbox was Sennheiser 450s with an Astro A40 Mix Amp. I’ll have to watch your reviews again on same three brands.
6:47 I am starting to have salinity flashbacks, ngl that cat lookin really fresh doe
Really enjoy your style of reviewing. I'm torn between Arctis pro wireless and the gen4 Astro A50's. Each time I think I've made my mind up, I watch another review and I'm back to square 1. Haven't seen you review the A50, any chance of doing a comparison between the pro wireleas and A50?
Fantastic review.
Love the rgb Jason shirt!
New sub, just bought these thx
Got the higher priced XT version as it was one of the few I could find that supported 2.4ghz, USB, 3.5mm, and Bluetooth connectivity. Been very happy with them.
Your reviews are always on point man. Any chance of reviewing the ATH-G1WL? I'm torn between Virtuoso and ATH-G1WL, and i'd like to hear your thoughts.
Bro... that "switch blade" is sick!
Great video. Subscribed to your channel!
I got the GSP 500 but with after market memory foam PU leather ear-pads and omg what a worlds Difference!!! super comfy now while still maitaning open sound and coolness to my ears! paired with the GSX 1000 DAC/AMP its a match made in heaven!
another review lesss go 👌🏼
Quality vid my man. You still using this set? Between this and the Astro A50
Now you have me searching for more music to test my headset and YU2's, thanks alot! lol (Juno Reactor's new album hit the spot for now)
Hey Brian, Really like your videos and how they’re presented. Currently shopping for a new headset since my Razer Nari Ultimate side hinge broke... specifically looking at this Corsair Virtuoso SE, Sennheiser GSP 670 and Steelseriee Arctis Pro Wireless. I’m having a really hard time trying to decide which unit to get as none of them are available to me locally so I can’t go to see them in store. I love the fact that the Corsairs appear to have an all aluminum construction, which would immediately make them the most robust and highest quality IMO. That said, I’ve gotten used to and really like the chat mix/balance option on my Razer unit, and it’s disappointing that the Corsair unit doesn’t have this option. It seems like the GSP 670 has the best audio performance and a decent enough mic, but it’s hard to tell from pictures and videos just how durable or well built the frame is. I’m very careful with my things, but my Razer units hinge broke after just widening it one morning to put on my head... therefore I’m very concerned with build quality as I don’t want to pay $350 for a headset that might break in a few months like the Razer unit. The Arctis Pro Wireless seems like it has the best overall feature set, but just looking at the unit itself it seems as though there’s not a lot different in terms of build quality over an Arctis 7, or nothing in terms of materials to help justify the major price increase over the 7. I will say that to date, I’ve only ever used my headsets at home for gaming. I’ve never thought to nor even considered taking them outside of the house to use with a phone. That being said, my primary concern is getting a unit that has high build quality, followed by comfort, audio quality, features, etc. If you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated! Justin
Thx for the video
Great video! Would you pick these over the Audio-Technica ATH-G1WL?
“ Ready? ..... Let’s go! :)” Me: Okay :)
Please consider doing a mic test between the SE version and the no SE version. I've only seen one comparison between the two and the non SE's mic sound better. Was wondering if those results were an outlier.
I literally liked the video just for the awesome song/whatever it is, at the end of the video
Who else likes badseeds vids even before watching?
I love this headset! But I had to buy some thicker better ear pads off Amazon for about $25-$30, it helped take a bit of the pressure off the top of my head as well as helped with isolating the sound inside the pads. The mic is fantastic and probably the best part of the headset, at least on the non se virtuoso. The only draw back is discomfort at the top of the skull after a couple hours and I’m still trying to think of a good fix for it(I have a smaller head and use close to the shortest adjustment). I’ve been using a soft sock on top of my head if it gets too bad lol I read someone put an additional band on the headset similar to how the steel series headsets look and think I might try something like that but it’s still an amazing headset. *I have the standard edition and believe that it’s actually a better choice than the SE
Love my CORSAIR, after endless problems with numerous pairs of @Razer Nari headphones - with Razer USBs forever going wrong - I’ve had many months perfect use of my @Corsair Virtuoso and love them.
Finally someone who includes the dimensions on the ear pads. As a guy with big ears this is vital information for me, now I know these aren’t for me. Unfortunately. I really love the style of these headphones. Thank you for the great review.
Gosh man, I think I might make a compilation of you just saying _let's go_ with the sick beat drops and b-roll. If that's okay of course
I'm looking to get an amp/dac set to improve sound quality and I have virtuoso headset. Could you suggest a suitable option that would pair nicely? Or do I even need it? I'm an audio noon BTW 😊
Where's my #BigHeadAssDudes Squad at??? 😎 Excellent review BP!
Great Review! Would the Virtuoso gain better improved audio quality from connecting to a Dac/Amp using the 3.5mm jack or from the 24bit/96KHz audio from the USB cable? Sorry for the specific question. Thanks
Just a tip man. If you are making contact on the drivers itself (while wearing, I suggest getting those cheap headphone foams/pads like the KSC75 ones. Slapped those on top of the pads and it increases the overall comfort without really affecting much of the sound sig. I had problems with circular headphones because my ears are small and most of the things I've tried made my ears sit on the drivers.
Hey Brian. Which has the best comfort, these or the arctis wireless pro?
This review was as good as your beard. (straight up killer) Subscribed!
Hi, have u also tried the non se version of this headsets? I'm planning to buy that one but kinda unsure about its overall sound quality between its stereo mode and 7.1 surround sound mode. I'm more to gaming, listening to music, and watching videos/movies everyday, do you think I should go with this headsets (non se version)? Also, just like you said on your video and what I also heard from other people that the non se version's mic is way better that the se version. Hope you'l notice my comment and help to to decide about this headsets. Nice review btw man and keep it up. Thanks and God bless.
I have this headset with dac and its amazing!
So close to 100k
Zowie gtf-x or one of the Thor mousepads? Which one do you think is faster? I’m thinking of buying either one. Nice vid btw, I might cop this headset actually
Could you do a video like a desktop mic showdown or separate mics in general? Modmic, hyper x quadcast, blue yeti. Cons and pros like which picks up background noise like keyboard and mice but you still want good mic quality? Thanks
Bought a pair of arctic wireless pro and have no regrets.Pricey but worth every penny.
Hi there, super Video and super Pc case you have. What for case are you using? Tnx greetings from Germany BTW. Astro A 50 i like more than Corsair
I know you already talked a lot about the comfort for big and small heads, but comfort is my main concern as of now. I got rid of my a40s; too heavy. Returned Arctis Pro Wireless; too tight. Using Logitech g pro x; too tight/too much noise cancelling. Do you think this is a sweet spot for comfort and overall not as tight on the head as some others?
I need a comfy cans ranking from you now
Great review just a little too pricey for me lol. Do you think you could do an intellimouse pro review? Also cute cat
wow what mic do you have (not the headset)? I'm looking to get something of that quality, wow!
Mine arrive tomorrow....looking forwards to trying them out! Was going to go for the GSP 670 but the price put me off and these look like the next best thing and defo more bang for your buck for sure.
xxElPrezxx did yours come in already? How do you like it so far ?
@@rus2thes0uL I really like them. Comfy fit, people say mic is really clear and sound is great. This is my first wireless gaming headset so I don't have anything to compare them to in that respect but I am not disappointed. They sound fine out the box but much better once you play with the EQ. I went for the SE as I preferred the finish but thats me being a tart haha
I'm 40 seconds into the video and enjoying it already. Your beard is beautiful and I'm envious, since I have to shave for work.
Since when does Kratos do product reviews? Love the beard I almost thought it was CG. I'm in the market for a new headset but cant decide to purchase this or the Arctis Wireless Pro.
Man, these videos are truly aesthetic masterpieces. PLEASE upload some sort of link to a Spotify/Apple Music playlist where we can find some of the music you use/what you listen to. I'm a professional web developer and often have your videos playing in a plugin (i get bored), and would love to bump some of these tracks as well.
Thanks man! All my music comes from Epidemic Sound. Tracks and artists are always linked in the description and a lot of the artists have singles and full projects posted on the big streaming sites. 👌
Thanks man.
I have to admit I'm also a sucker for looks and if I was looking at getting these, I'd probably pay the extra $30 for SE. Nice to see more headsets coming with a USB-C connector. If my HS70 SE wear out, the Virtuoso SE seem like a good replacement.
Nice cat :D Quality stuff from Corsair? Impossible!! I wonder why they realased 2 sets lol Great video as always, loving Your music choice in this video!
Whats not quality about corsair besides there shitty softtware.
hey, great review! this is the first video i saw from you and i really find it good. just a question though, if you are going for FPS games, which headset would you prefer? Corsair Virtuoso or the Arctis Pro Wireless? I have the arctis pro wireless now and i dont feel like i am getting what i paid for, so im planning to return it. although i am not sure as well if the audio quality of Corsair Virtuoso is actually better than the arctis pro wireless. can you give your suggestion? thanks! also, is the USB mode way better and noticeable compared to the wireless mode of the Virtuoso?
I have both and the virtuoso does not even come close to the arctic wireless pros. Although I really do like the virtuosos; it’s just I’m a sucker for wireless headsets. So the Arctis wireless pros do just that and much more.
Ty for doing this. I was waiting for this since they were announced. Im thinking on buying the white ones, just cause here its 157€,the black ones are 200 and the SE are 250...so for the price... 157 i think its a really good spot, considering the flights are 120 and the arctis pro 210. 50€+ pricetag for black color is crazy if you ask me. Because my understanding is that its just color diference? i dont see how that works. Thank you again for this review.
Ahhhhhhh the beard and the voice It’s Perfect
I bought these, yesterday. They sound GREAT. I use the wired setting for my PS4 Pro along with my Soundblaster X G6. I've been able to turn the volume up via G6 more than with my other headsets with no distortions or sibilance. Amazing. However, using the wireless setting, it seems the volume doesn't get very loud. Maybe, I'm doing something wrong. 🤔
@@1Dub79 its normal bro , on PC you can set de dolby atoms , so its way better in PC , on PS4 its always different
What’s your fav all around wireless gaming headset... I have a pair of lucid sound ls40, I love them but the top piece of the head band is plastic and cracked plus the ear cushion inserts pulled out... the Corsair build looks like the lucid sound, but I’d like to focus on in game sound, mic, comfort and price. Have you checked out hyper x cloud flight or orbit by any chance?
These headsets are amazing
Great reviews, could you check out lucidsound ls41 at all? 👌
im torn between getting getting the Logitech G Pro X or the Corsair Virtuoso SE
Hey bro love the content and how premium your channel feel and looks! My question is, I bought the virtuoso se and felt like something was lacking and I got a bunch of feed back saying to get the Sennheiser HD58x with an stand alone mic. You think I’ll be in a better place with the HD58’s vs these? Thanks!
Brian highly recommends the HD 58x but you should wait to hear from the man himself 👍🏽
6:47 The only thing he's thinking: "I won't make the same mistake Alinity did I won't make the same mistake Alinity did I won't make the same mistake Alinity did I won't make the same mistake Alinity did"
What did she do? Edit: apparently she threw her cat when it was going across her keyboard
I did a earcup switch to some Brainwavz, added a Bluetooth 3,5 mm adapter and also got me the standard mic. I know it doesn’t really make sense, when u buy a 200€ headset. I also use it wireless with the added Bluetoothadapter in the gym and due to its gorgeous build quality it’s my go to headset for lifestyle and gaming / discord 👍🏼
Unnecessary getting the standard mic. The SE mic was fixed with a firmware update soon after launch.
Came cause I’m buying these headphones. Stayed for the beard.
Just out of curiosity, 1. If I buy 2 of these will they intervene with each other? Could me and my partner both have them in use or will that cause problems :/ and 2. Will I be able to use this with a switch too? Thnx xx
but is it better then the void pro i would like to see a video on that the differences between the two
I used the normal Corsair Virtuoso RGB wireless and the earcups are really uncomfortable but i liked everything else about it does this SE version the same or are the earcups comfortable
is it worth upgrading to the virtuoso from the void elite pro?
