    • @qarlem the deep gouge he did to the dial using a springbar tool to remove the hands was gone in the finished shot, also the damage he did to the lugs and back using the file were gone too and the original shape of the lugs had magically been restored even tho he didn't weld new stainless steel to the case. He completely destroyed the case with the file and no "restoration" magic will repair the damage so the final shot was the watch before he destroyed it with the mud bath and amateur hacking.

  • I actually have this exact model of "Rolex". Purchased it in Northern Thailand about 20 years ago for $18 US if I remember correctly. Believe it or not, it is still running. The only work I have ever had done on it was some minor work with the winder. Even though it is a knock off I really like the look of the watch and still wear it. BTW I am not sure that Rolex ever mass produced this style of watch.
