years ago, Jaiden reached out to me as a friend and invited me to a group chat with her and some other animators. Nobody had ever reached out like that before, and everyone was so kind. (my channel was and still is, tiny in comparison to the whole group). They tried to encourage me to go to that same vidcon (mentioned in the video) with them in the group, and even offered to pay for my flights and accommodation, which was insanely generous. Although I declined because that gift is just too much and also my own anxieties around showing my face publicly, I will always treasure and remember the kindness that everyone, but especially Jaiden had shown to me. It has left a huge impression on me.

I just love how Anthony interviews people. He doesn't interrupt people, he talks along, tries to understand what his guest is talking about, asks questions that have relevance. He does not poke people with a metaphorical stick and asks them uncomfortable questions. He listens, he cares and he makes sure his guest is comfortable with him :)

I feel this too. I graduated 2013, spent half a decade sick, and while I'm working now, it's not even in the same profession as my degree. Not that I'm not happy but I agree, it doesn't feel me.

That's why beauty is subjective. I get called pretty or beautiful sometimes by older ladies at church or the store, but subjectively, I kinda of find myself ugly. I never had high self esteem to begin with tho. I got bullied for my looks when before I started kindergarten.
I really like how her parents approached her leaving college. Technically she was an adult and didn't need their permission. But they were supportive while making sure she was being realistic.

One of the things I love about learning about different people is learning about their struggles and how they cope, because until you hear it from someone else, you kind of feel alone in the world (at least that's how I sometimes feel). Even though different things work for different people in terms of overcome adversity, it's nice to hear not only about the struggles themselves, but also about overcoming those issues or at least keeping them from defining you. Thank you both and all involved for this video.
Honestly I love Jaiden as a person, even if I don't watch her videos that much. I can really emphasize her anxiety and worries. She seems like a lovely down to earth person, but restricted by the anxiety and worries. I'm happy she's able to work with those feelings and feel more at ease. I hope she'll be able to stand her ground in the future if something like that ever happens again, she deserves to be able to ask the basic things and have them granted. It wasn't hard to follow that request. I hope that person got ripped a new hole. :/

Jaiden is a very kind person to a lot of people it’s sad to know she had to deal with depression and feeling like she was starving herself to just not to feel self conscious. That Shit should never have happened. Hoping Jaiden doesn’t feel the need to let go of herself and bring herself in a depressing state of her life.
Jaiden calling out the drama channels is great honestly. I have such a problem with some of em when it comes to certain things and I'm glad she's talking about it as well as discouraging it
So often, something isn't actually a big deal, because almost no one knows about it, that if no one talked about it, it would have been inconsequential. But because some drama channel wants to use the issue as content, suddenly it's blowing up and only makes everything worse. (Like people talking about hate comments with no likes that almost no one would have seen if they didn't show it. To those haters who have no audience, putting their hate comments on blast has no negative affect on them but brings them the attention that they want.)

I still think it’s insane that every single major Pokémon KZhead knows Jaiden well because of just a fraction of her content. The way she was able to make such a strong impact with relatively little is so impressive and a real testament to her talent and charisma.

Omg, a great takeaway that I have from Jaiden, it’s that her, me and actually everybody struggles a lot with our own perception at some point, being depressed and such but something is certain, it doesn’t matter how you look, Jaiden, you have given so much fun, learning, moments of reflexion and I am so happy that you do what you do right now. It never will matter your looks, because yourself just as you are is better than everything. Happy to see you have overcome a lot of issues and you are still around ☺️
I've been so obsessed with jaiden channel lately. I've been binge-watching her entire channel for the best week, and I'm so glad I found her. You're such an inspiration Jaiden! I'm super awkward and shy myself. I have a bachelors degree in multimedia and animation, but I never found a job in that field. I would still love to do something with those skills I learned, but it's been so long that I have literally nothing in a portfolio to show people anymore. I also feel like I can't make new stuff because of several reasons... My computer broke and I can't afford a new one...Not that I have anywhere to put one anyway. I can't afford any Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Etc.) because they are way overpriced and now that you have to pay a subscription fee they're even worse. I just don't know what to do with myself and honestly if I did manage to start a popular KZhead channel like you, I'm not sure if I could handle the pressure. On another note. I love animating and creating cool videos, but i hated almost every second of actual classes.
I look up to jaiden so much especially during 2017 when I saw her face reveal video because 2017 was the darkest time in my life, and when I saw jaiden I was like, woah there’s someone else who sort of feels like I do! And it was so comforting and no jaiden I’m not bias like at all! I’m being serious you really did help me a lot and I’m so grateful I found your channel today, also can I just say jaiden has the most beautiful eyes like in the world. 7:46 I can actually relate to Jaiden's statement there, I spent many years of my life severely depressed and it almost felt like once I had conquered that, I didn't really recognize myself at all because that was me for so long. I'm taking steps every day to find myself, figure out who I really am and what my place in the world really is and self-reflecting like that has been really helpful in understanding my own emotions and why I do things the way I do.
I swear jaidn is so relatable to me, despite (as far as I can tell from videos) me having a really different childhood. Jaiden and Anthony are both great creators and this interview was basically the crossover I was waiting for💕

The “I attempted my first Pokémon nuzlocke” blew up so hard that it got translated to Spanish and that video got like 5M views and EVERY Pokémon KZheadr I knew at the time was making reaction videos. (I put Spanish because it’s the only one that got recommended to me but it probably got translated to another 4 languages)

The video that Jaiden posted with revealing her face really impacted me in a way of that I have dealt with very similar feelings and emotions, and an eating disorder as well as other various self esteem issues and so her video was very impactful for me in how she described these emotions and experiences and how much I could relate to it and didn’t feel as alone. I’ve loved her videos and everything she does, I’m very grateful she made it since it helped me a lot with my own struggles. She’s an amazing person.
