Yep I could've guessed it because I have a Russian Blue cat and she's the most lovable one of all my cats I can go outside and she's right there following me or I could just be sitting outside and she'll jump up and start rubbing against me. Yep russian blue cats are not only the world's most adorable cats but they're most definitely the world's most affectionate cats 🥰❤

Russian Blues are amazing cats. Very loving, very loyal, and super intelligent/perceptive. I will say too that tabbies are consistently very affectionate cats.
We have 2 cats, 1 is a pure bred Siamese and she is affectionate on her terms only. Then we have a stray male who showed up and he is just a short hair mix (orange and white) tabby cat and he is affectionate ALL the time and has the loudest purr I've ever heard. 💞 We love them both dearly, but the orange and white tabby has my heart ❤️

Diffently the russian blue. Our 16 year old Russian blue, fiddy recently passed and we are devastated. I have never hurt or cried so hard in my life..I lost my tv watching partner and he slept with me every night. 😢

I don't have any cats right now but they are my absolute favorite animals. They're cute, small(ish depending on the breed), and useful for dealing with vermin.
We used to have an American Bobtail. Most loving cat ever. Always would hop up and demand cuddles and love.
We have 1 american short haired. But 1 breed that should've definitely been on this list are calico's. I grew up with so many calicos in my life and each and everyone of them have been the most loveable, attachable cats I have ever had. I love each and every one of them. We have 1 meow.
Calico cats are not a breed though, Calico is exclusively a coloration pattern and can happen in literally every breed.
My Bombay is super affectionate, plays fetch, loves belly rubs, walks on a leash, comes when called, sleeps on my chest every night and kisses.

Personally, no cat breed "outaffectionnates" other, it's all how they were raised as kittens and as they grow up.

I worked at a rescue organization for 5 years and the calicos/torties were the meanest and most unpredictable. I give them a wide berth.

Mine is a genuine mixed shorthair, genuine generic sorta white cat.
1:18 Those are Orientals. Teeeeechnically a different breed, though they are the result of a breeding program using Siamese breed as the starting point (hence their ability to have the Siamese coat, as seen here).
Actually the first Siamese is thought to actually have been Tonkinese, and the USoNA did not start the breed

I have a russian blue, definitely affectionate but doesn't like being picked up and cuddled. He just rubs his face on me a lot
they are a great cat but not number 1 for affectionate and tolerable. This rating list is a mess.
Mine is similar. He uses his foot to push my hand away if I pet him more than a few times 😅. He doesn’t like being brushed either.

If you’re getting them for affection, then it’s time to realize that you’re a cat lady and you made some seriously poor life choices. Cats are great pets, but they shouldn’t be a replacement for human companionship.
