  • Great vid! I would have to say I love the Kone air pro, and would take it over the Model D. I had the Model D wired, then the pwnage ultra custom ergo (same EC shape as the Model D) but wireless and now the Kone pro air. It just feels more comfortable and more versatile than the GMD for the same points you mentioned in your vid. PLUS it has BT, which the Model D doesnt have and also has a place to store the dongle, which the D doesnt have.

  • Been running Glorious Model O Wireless for about a year and it has been rock solid throughout. Absolutely ZERO issues with the wireless connection or lag/delay. My only gripe is the cheapo switch feel but they have rectified that going to Kailh switches in future models (like the Model D). No issues with build quality, I love the scroll wheel texture and feel and the side buttons. My only complaints are 5 day battery life (with all RGB off) I feel they could do better compared to Superlight getting around 2 weeks. The cheap switch feel on the older models, but it's not a deal breaker. Other than that the price is absolutely right and it comes with solid PTFE feet right out of the box no need to change there. Oh, and when you upgrade the mouse firmware it does force you to reload your profile which is a minor annoyance, not a deal breaker ... just something Logitech would never have you do.

  • I just learned today that I have a large size hand in accordance to gaming mice (well, sort of. I have a decently large-ish palm, and really long skinny fingers), and that I prefer palm grip, so this video was really helpful! I'm also considering the Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless mouse, the only things so far that I'm not certain of are if it has optical or mechanical switches, and the programmable buttons seem kind of large, which might be a problem, considering I don't really use programmable buttons at the moment (my current mouse is the Logitech G603) What would be really neat is if you made a video on palm-grip mice! Ofc it's up to you, but it would be neat, cause I've only been able to find a single video that reviews mice that are specifically palm grip mice, so some more input on palm-grip mice would be great!

  • Techne you should test the PULSAR Xlite Wireless to really complete the "Big/ergo" wireless mouse list. Seems to be a nice alternative to the Model D wireless. 3370, lighter weight, PTFE feets and mountain Makalu like holes instead of the normal rounded/hexagon pattern. And affordable of course! Haven´t grabbed one myself yet, but might do soon. And i will take the opportunity to thank you for your great reviews man, i´ve been a beta tester since 2000 for many of the companys who makes these products you review. It took quite some time to reach the performance we have in todays sensors, to finaly be able to say "pick your shape" instead of performance in many cases. Just hope to see more and more wireless products, because once you get use to it, it´s hard to even go back to paracorded products IMO. Keep up the good work!

    • @@TheTechne Ah i see, thanks for the answer. I'm still leaning a bit towards trying it out. I prefer and play better with the Prime vs the Kone Pro because it doesn't flare out as much. But i prefer the EC2 shape. The Pwnage ultra custom has an edge that goes into my hand(backside/rear LED edge). So Xlite or Model D wireless is what I'm looking at atm. Model D- did fit my hand better so I'm a bit hesitant. I felt the QC was way better on the Model O wireless vs the cable ones, and it seems to be the same with the model D wireless. I would love to see Xtrfy release a wireless M4 and the choice going forward would be easier 😆.

  • Great review! I am a SteelSeries fan, and I use wired mice, and my Rival 3 v2 is a very nice mouse. I just can't seem to get into wireless mice.....just not my cup-o-tea, but I do see where for some, having no wire to deal with is great. I've been running with my Rival 3 for about a year and a half now, along with the Apex 7 keyboard, and have noticed my gaming, typing, and navigation in web pages to be much better than before I got these. I had a "gaming" mouse and keyboard before these, and I must say, the Havit HV-MS760, which is still on my desk, is one helluva palm mouse(wired), and feels very solid. But my daily driver is still the Rival 3. It's weird, the Rival is smaller than the Havit, and I like the palm grip of the Havit, but the Rival in claw grip is amazing! Changed my whole way of cruising the interwebs and playing games!

    • What did you end up choosing? I also can not give a big advantage in someone's favor, but da has more comfortable side buttons and for me as a rts/rpg fan it's a huge difference. For fps sessions I have ultralight symmetrical mice. And da v2 pro currently is the cheapest wireless gaming ergo mouse on the market where I'm living (slightly cheaper than Kone and 50-70% cheaper than ss and corsair) and have an option to be docked

      @nikitakobtsev@nikitakobtsev2 жыл бұрын
    • @@nikitakobtsev Hey, went with the DeathAdder V2 Pro in the end. I had the chance to try them out in the store and DeathAdder was far more comfortable for me, plus the side buttons were much better when it comes to placement and it was also cheaper (although only by about 20% here). The only downside is the Razer software - it never crashed or anything like that but it is required to change anything on the mouse and to remember your settings when it comes to lighting. That aside, I am loving it so far. Since the mouse works even while charging I never bothered getting the dock since I can connect it for a quick charge while I am doing some work or browsing - the dock also seems like it will damage the battery in the long run so watch out for that if you go for it.

      2 жыл бұрын
    • @ Unfortunately, there are no stores in my city that have mice to touch them and roccat stopped official sales of its products in my country a few years ago. I'm currently looking at the da x hyperspeed version. Mechanical switches + more convenient dpi buttons that can be remapped + longer battery life + 2 times cheaper than da v2 pro. In addition, there is no rubber coating and I can just change the grips without fear that the rubber will wear out and the mouse will look bad. Everything sounds good, the only thing left is to find out is the shape of the mouse is my cup of tea

  • I really am tired lately... I have big (wide) hands, but the Quality of the mice is really crap nowadays. I went through 4 Roccat and 2 Logitech mice in 3 years and always had scrollwheel (Roccat) and doubleclick (Logitech) problems. Shortest lifetime was my Kone Pro Air that started scrolling in the wrong direction after 3 Weeks on the first one and after 2 Months with the replacement. Dunno if Razer is better but I sadly get hand-pains from both the Basilisk as well as the Deathadder.

  • At this point it seems like Vaxee or Zowie are the only brands to put thought into their shape and material. They have perfect comfort, balance, control, and are absolutely rock solid in almost any variant for any grip. I've tried so many wireless mice in the last few months, and none of them even come within 10 percent of the quality of my Np-01 or EC2-A. As I get older I find myself reaching for the EC because there is zero strain and I lose very little fine control. I just want a wireless EC type that actually can hold a candle to the feel of those two brands. I'm about to just get an EC2-C and a better bungee and call it a day. This "endgame" chasing nonsense is silly. It's not gaming. It's marketing BS. A 3360 and mushy side buttons is better than carpel-tunnel, whiffed shots, and crap feeling plastic. I might give the Model D wireless a shot when it hits Amazon, but if it's quality is the same as, say, their bungee vs Zowie's, it's no contest. Zowie doesn't f*ck around when it comes to clicking on heads.

    • @@TheTechne on the left click it is more noticeable. The right click also has some weird feeling to it, as if it was "rubbing" against something. The Mouse Button barely moves but you can feel it in fast paced games, when you move the Mouse a lot. I have these issues on both Mice, but it was more noticeable on my second Purchase of the Glorious Model D Wireless (which i returned becasue i couldnt get used to it). In my opinion it is still such a great Mouse and has great Value but the strange clicks and that you can feel the Movement of the Mouse Button with a slight wobble with your Finger makes it annoying. It could be that iam just too sensitive about these things and iam aware of that. I helped myself with some Tape to fixate the Mouse Buttons a little (because i still love the Glorious Model D Wireless as a whole). I hope i was able to clarify it a little. I love your Videos and the energy you bring in it.
