Pre ordered and it just came in. WOW. Wish I knew my hand measurements so anyone could compare. But as a big hand boy, this thing is incredible. It doesn't feel overbearing and forceful like the Deathadder. But the curvature makes it PERFECT for my palm/claw grip
You make a transition from Deathadder to this mouse?
Thank you Techne for making QC the first thing you mention! I really really loved my wired Model D. It was SUCH a shame that the QC was so so bad. I still have a phobia of glorious products and have since switched to the SteelSeries Prime. I'm going to wait a few more weeks to see more long term reviews on how this mouse holds up, but this review has given me a bit more confidence and belief that one day I'm going to be able to switch back to my favorite shaped mouse and not have QC issues arising everyday

I've been finding myself watching more and more of your videos. I love that you're critical when you need to be. I just subscribed! I just bought a Model D wireless and HyperX Cloud 2 wireless. I needed a bigger mouse that's still light so this is AWESOME. Thanks for the reviews!
It only lasts 72 hours though. How does constantly needing a wire anyways make this worth it?

Nice review and agree with you on the Zowie shape, best shape ever and also the bigger feet is key for smooth and stable glide so happy they add that optional. The only thing I am waiting for (if it ever comes) is the glossy Model D Wireless because I find their matte plastic quite slippery. How do you feel the plastic is on your Model D Wireless?

Mine came today but had a noticeable bubble in the wheel, I see it everytime I spin it. But other then that END GAME mouse baby!! Feels so nice…..so nice!

Yea I know it's a couple of years old now but I got the white one to compare to my Superlight because my hand sweats a lot and this mouse is phenomenal so far!
Been using the Roccat Kone Pro Air since I tested it... amazing mouse, but this one looks really good. Gonna have to try it.

I've been looking for a more comfortable mouse that let's me rest my full hand on the mouse like my old G700 did before the dreaded double-click finally got to it. How does the form factor of the Glorious Model D compare to the SteelSeries Rival 310(I found your channel searching reviews for the Rival 310)? I am looking to jump to wireless (using the regular wired Model D atm) but I am unsure if I want the Model D wireless version (not that huge a fan of holes and those lightstrips - never got them to look "consistent") or something like Deathadder V2 Pro or Kone Pro Air?

Regarding the model 0 wireless squeaky mouse wheel issue. I contacted Glorious support and I asked if I could open the mouse to apply a lubricant to help resolve the noise. They agreed and said to use dielectric grease on the inside scroll wheel joints. It resolved it right away. It does require that you open the mouse by removing the feet pads, so have a replacement set on hand.

I also had a bad experience with the squeaking sound for my MOW. had to lube it. I'll wait for a couple of months before jumping as the Model D was my favorite

I have a HyperX Pulsefire Haste but it forces me into a palm grip and cramps my hand. I prefer a claw grip. Would you say this is the best for claw grip? If not, can you recommend me one?

TL;DR: Question regarding Model D WIreless vs. Roccat Kone Pro Air. I managed to spill wine over my Roccat Kone Aimo tonight. I have several macros stored on that thing. One of them hits the Enter key at the end of it. Even if I turn of all the assigned macros in the driver, it doesn't turn off. Currently using an old PS/2 connector mouse I had lying around in my cellar. I have been using Roccat's hardware (mice and keyboards) since their very first mouse (the first Kone) came out. I am in absolute love with the shape of the Kone. Fits my hand like a stinkin' glove. I was looking for a wireless mouse anyway. Was looking at the Kone Pro Air, because it can switch between Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless. I'd be using the Bluetooth for work (either in the office or mobile work with the laptop provided by my employer) and the 2.4 GHz at home. Well, question is: How do you like both mice compared to one another? Pros/cons? You made a video three months ago, saying the Kone Pro AIr was your main. Which I strongly believe. Was the Model D so bloody amazing, that you switched so quickly? Why was that?

Been using wired D for a year, finally time to upgrade. Love the white, but this hot summer and increased amount of sweat started to turn the plastic into yellow, guess it's gonna be black this time

Techne, gotta say you're now my go to channel for gaming mice. Your takes are honest, thorough and supported well with your explanations. I hope you do an update video on this mouse after a few months of use. Since you brought up the scroll wheel squeak, I am curious if Glorious addressed the rubber on the wheel slipping over time.

I would have gotten the Model D wireless, but shipping takes too long. Went for the Kone Pro Air instead. Maybe I'll pick up the D wireless when it hits Amazon or the local Microcenter.
How hard is it to actuate the middle click/scroll wheel click? The outset/EC-C mice have middle clicks which I found very hard to actuate, but I love the middle click actuation force on the DA V2. Thanks!
I just got this mouse and the one immediate gripe I have with it is the charging cable. It's Type C, sure, so you would assume it could go either way in to charge the mouse. That's not the case. The body of the plug has a shape that only fits into the mouse one way. It's kind of annoying.
can you delete the logitech pro superlight drivers after you set your dpi as well?

I'm a G703 user, love the mouse but I basically stole it from my sister and now she wants it back, does the model d wireless's hump feel the same as the g703? I know the 703 has a really aggressive hump that I love, it supports my palm perfectly.

Damn new mouse looks clean
Its the paint. I work with products that are coated and white will always weigh more than black. They need more coats to cover up the base. Sounds wierd but it adds up and doesnt surprise me at all.

Interestingly, its weight is identical to the wired version, that is, they were able to optimize the internal design, keep the backlight, and the build is good enough. Now the wired version seems quite outdated, especially with omron switches. It's sad enough that you don't check mouse's weight balance. Indeed, in the same Deathadder v2 Pro, he is quite terrible, and if Glorious Model D has him perfect, then why is Deathadder V2 Pro needed?
Love the form factor of both the Model O and Model D wireless but I feel like the battery life of the Roccat KPA edges them out for me. The Model O wireless dies on me pretty frequently and I'm too lazy to charge it after every session.

yea i had thoughts about getting a new mouse & keyboard but wht i have currently works fine for me for my mouse im using is corsair m55 rgb pro & my keyboard is a razer black widow so guess i'll swap to the glorious mouse in the event my current mouse gets wrecked lol

you weren't alone in the poor quality in the past. When I was looking at getting a MOW I almost didn't because of all the people talking about poor quality control. the warranty was enough to ease my mind. They'll RMA anything for pretty much any problem for years after your purchase. That's the kind of confidence I look for in a manufacturer.

Got mine the other day. It's just okay to me. I'll probably throw it in my bag with my chromebook. I don't think I'll keep it on my desk as a main mouse though. Good to be light in my bag, not really for me on a desk.

Yeah the Model O wireless wheel squeeks like crazy and it drives me fucking nuts. I notice it constantly while playing Valorant even through my headset. I hear it's not an issue on the D but who knows.
Better wait with anouncing new main till you review Xlite wireless :)

ive been using my model D for a couple of months now.. I didn't know I had to remove the blue plastic of at the bottom of the mouse. DAMMMMN. Now it feels more super smooth xD
