Sometimes I make few eggs just for training. Material in this case is spruce.

  • I haven't had great luck at making eggs. I've turned a couple that have come out pretty well. I'll have to call you the egg God. After watching this I think i'll be able to do a little better. New subscriber to you.Leonard

  • Hi, After spending 9 hours yesterday trying to get to know the Skew and Detail gauge I am in disbelief of how your skew finish is, perfect. Mine was that good lol I wish. When my wife saw my end results her exact words ... 'Ahhh hmmm lumps', it was supposed to be a Snow man! But I've only been turning a week, so I'll keep watching KZhead to see how it should look!     • My chuck is old Record Power RP4000, but Vicmarc VM100 Chuck is similar with it.

    • Crown Tools 10mm Pro-PM spindle gouge. Robert Sorby 13mm oval skew and 3mm standart parting tool.
