Is the liquid glass safe to drink out of?
Damn, my lathe would vibrate all over the floor if I left the handle on. Which is why I have to pin/glue my handles on later. Great demo though!

What were the dimensions of the blank you cut it out of. I have a friend that has asked me to make one for him but I dont even know what stock to buy. Also I have trouble reading measurements like “4”x 4”x 8”” idk what it really means.

Is there another way of trimming the edges other than the saw? Mine is quite old and wouldn't trust it not to snap!
This is the fastest way to complete it. But I don't recommend it because it's dangerous. After all, I think it's better to use knives or chisels. I often use knives or chisels to trim the edges.
