How much does it cost to fill a superyacht with fuel?! We show you in this video!!! Drop your Like and subscribe 👉🏻 show us your support!
I also watch a super yacht channel! They were talking about one of the Russian yachts that ran from the Caribbean to Mexico to Fuji! The fuel cost to fill up this yacht was approx $300,000! Dang! I b*tch about the $40 to fill up my little Cobalt! 😂
@@sharonbraselton4302 I would love to get an electric car but due to high cost of cars and low salary, it’s impossible! So I will keep my little Cobalt!
Interesting subject!!......a litre of diesel at the carfuel station costs around 2 Euro’s....plus 10 % if on the Autosnelweg/Autobahn/Autoroute....our interstates....I believe your US gallons is around 3.5 litres???....I bet you turn quiet by now?? By the way... I suppose if filling up with lower grade ‘diesel’ in harbours it can be (a lot) cheaper....like the big ships do......the price will be lower, but I am not sure your high-end supercruisers will run on that.....without cr***ing out...I suppose it’s less suitable for pleasure craft.... NO PUN intended!!!....love to hear your opinion!! Greetings from the Netherlands!! (finally you know why we drive tiny cars,,,,,)
If you can afford the Yacht? You can afford the fuel.
You need to include how many gallons total, total range and gallons/mile. Especially interesting if there are numbers for smooth cruising versus full throttle and battling stormy seas....
Never had a client who cared about fuel cost after working as a boat captain for many different clients for over 20 years.
They care just don't show it.
Mwaaaah.......maybe they just don’t care....
It's the old saying “if you have to ask about fuel costs, ya can't afford it”...
usually as goes against business expense and tax if you dont do that then floating rv''s dont make sense same with crew costs.
@@gavinferguson I am pretty sure there are tricks to make your boat use ‘taxdeductable’ fuel....the way governments waste taxpayers‘ money I blame them more than the culprits......
Thank you - love seeing the big boats - getting sick of center consoles
Hoping to see a video of super treacherous days at haulover and kayakers
For some reason I don't think people who can afford these boats are really the kind of people who worry about gas prices. I doubt they're juggling groceries or gas to get to work. These are likely the people who put others in those situations.
Rep’s
True, the fortunate folks who own these yachts are by great majority of the super wealthy 1%. However, even though I myself am firmly entrenched among the lower 99%, I enjoy these beautiful yachts and dreaming of sailing the seas in one while not having to fret about the insane price of the fuel being expended is a lot of fun. BTW your post prematurely popped my little fantasy bubble while offering only "duh" common sense those at the bottom 1% could have effortlessly figured out. Despite all this, I'm finding the fuel costs very interesting!
US gallon of diesel equivalent would cost $12 in UK currently.
Sails for the win! (again)
The high prices clearly havent stopped a lot of people from using their big yachts.

Hey there, another GREAT reel!....continue this series for all boats that pass !
'azimuth 66' just got thru like a needle, the Pershing too but did it with 'power', instead of design, imho. Thank you very much for your videos, perfect soundtrack too! Thank you for sharing these moments. It's a little bit like being there you you. TY !
The italian yachts are the most beautiful! Riva, Ferretti, Azimut and Mangusta are pieces of art.
The large yachts do appear to give a smoother ride…& their guests are not being thrown up in he air & landing on their tailbones…Thanks for sharing this great video!
Some yachts obviously offer a super smooth ride; potential owners should watch this video before listening to a blow hard sales person.
If you can afford a 2 million $$$ yacht, pretty sure you can afford to fuel it up. The smaller new boats that are on credit is a different story. Your paying month to month because you cant afford the boat and that means you are more likely using a credit card to fuel up the boat, and thats just insane really. I would never get into long term debt over a day out.
What is the point? Better to live life to the fullest when young than saving until you are old. Being old sucks because you cannot attract young women anymore.
Lovejetfuel, you are WAY more right than you even know!!!
17k credit limit right now would be awesome for me! You must be doing alright!
@jimj2683 Why do I keep getting hammered with this message and never heard it when I was young? Hey young uns, remember you can't put away the pu--y for a rainy day so jump on it while you can. One day it will all just be a distant memory.
I can see a 20' family runabout motoring around with the fenders hanging over the side. But professionally crewed 80 plus foot yachts?
Lol. I was wondering what they're thinking.
Poor yacht owners having trouble fueling their yachts! I'm sure the millions of people struggling to put food on the table feel for them...
Exactly!
Could not of said it better.
It breaks my heart.
Get off your lazy ass and do something about it!💪🏼🇺🇸
It’s always funny people hating on folks with money. Does that really make you feel better about your short comings?
Hi Boat Zone . LOVE this video . Cool to see so many different kinds of yachts . Much respect . Mark (Toronto) 👍👍👍🌊🌊🌊🌴🌴🌴
Glad you enjoyed it
By the time you rent a berth, pay insurance and have servicing and maintenance carried out, the fuel costs look a lot less significant. As a wise man once said about yacht ownership costs "If you have to ask, you can't afford it".
B.O.A.T. = Bust Out Another Thousand
Yep Al, I agree.
Definately not words of a wise man. Wise men regardless of wealth do not spend foolishly only unwise men do
@@travisryan8409 who says it's foolish? consider the benefits to society seafarers and mariners have manifested for us. Foolish? I think not. Pricey vessels?. Indeed. Like thoroughbred horses and Bugatti Chirons, costs a lot to Ball
The old saying: the easiest way to become a millionaire is become a billionaire and buy a yacht.
a little perspective is always good! to think I actually thought I had problems
Thanks for 30 min of dreams. Like to see them in the Inlet environment. It's always fun to look..(boats&women).
You have got to be kidding.......Anyone who can afford these yachts would feel that fuel costs is the least of their worries
Facts they're probably thinking more about all the stocked liquor and food and just saying I'm done with this we're going out into the open water while the world burns 🤣
Yep, all tax deductible outgoings on these play things.

What worries? He owns a yacht!!!
Another cool statistic to add to these videos would be an estimated range for a full tank...like how far does $13,000 get this boat...how often are they filling them up? I know it's probably a bit of guesswork but would be cool to know as I have no idea. These are some incredible boats.
0.01 - 1 mpg in this class.
@@ysesq That's about right, @10 knots my Fleming gets just under 1mpg....
Some cases it's gallons per mile LOL
that is exactly what I was thinking. You could always google the boat and find out the range if you know the year of the boat
Just like an airplane.@@karenfyhr2363
That Sea ray with all the fenders on long lines bashing about all along the hull.
when you have a 5 million dollar boat, 13k to fill it up is loose change
The people who have yachts have probably worked very hard and so they can afford the luxury of a wonderful yacht. I can’t afford a rowing boat! And struggle most weeks. But I would never criticise the people who own these lovely boats. I get great pleasure at watching them all the time .
Hear hear, I'm feeling that!
Why are these videos so fascinating? I guess I keep expecting a boat to get swamped in those waves!
99.9% of the ones on this vid won't but you can sure spot the difference in skill level of the operators.
Damn those fenders banging around looks so cool
There are many many attractive boats but wow, Riva is in a class on one. My absolute two favorite brands are Riva and Chris Craft. Followed my Monte Carlos.
If you can afford those boats you sure aren't going to worry about fuel cost
Beautiful ships!!! 👍😊
Technically correct but if you are concerned about fuel prices you should not have a boat much less a yacht, or plane.
Would have been nice if you saw more fuel costs even for the smaller ones .
Very good video, but, just a question, what's the boat on 20:04?
What is the fuel consumption running diesel yachrs vs running 5 outboards on a 50 ft center consol
Divine video : very beautiful yachts and helpful information ! Why price .... as of 0 4.07.22 ? * * * Have an insanely , dazzling and happy weekend !
Great idea for a vid
hehe , costs me $200 to fill up. Usually only do it once a season. Of course sails are expensive but they last a long time.
I have a little 25-foot fishing boat 110-gallon tank, it takes almost 700 dollars to fill up at current Los Angeles gas prices. some stations over 7 bucks a gallon now. I am far from rich retired now with a paid for 40-year-old boat. Jealous of Florida fuel praises.
The fenders over the sides......drives me nutz 😫😂
Yep. The sign of a Rookie
How instructive and refreshing to see the fuel prices these beautiful majestic boats must pay to cut the waves. Bravo for the people able to pay this and sleep beautiful nights afterwards.
There's probably way too much booze on board for a beautiful night's sleep but yeah, I get what you're saying
Never got into just driving around in a powerboat. I don't just drive around in cars either. I enjoy sailing and dealing with the wind to get results. Plus with blowboats the price of fuel is not a concern.
The price of fuel is not a concern for millionaires who own yachts
@@karenfyhr2363 no shit ...
I'm a local marine tech and my big boat owners are starting to cry and the small boat owners are disappearing but the local marina's are filling up with sailboat masts . the new envy is not the biggest boat but the tallest mast, and I like working on sailing vessels cause I got one
What’s up with these boat captains running multi million dollar yachts with the dock fenders out? $ can’t buy you class!
What's up with these non boat captains worried about the next man? You got too much time on your hands.
As others pointed out. If you can afford these yachts your not going to worry about fuel costs. However, i wonder just how often they are getting out compared to sitting in port docked/slipped most of the time. Point is kinda pointless to shell all that money out for a boat your not taking out but maybe 3 times a year.
Riva really needs a stabilizer! Doesn't look like it would take much to capsize.
Yeah I'm sure those that own yachts are worried about the fuel prices 🥵

San Lorenzo ... class is class !
9:05 That guy had the right idea tying all the balloons to the railing...no way that thing would ever sink now!! Probably got an insurance discount.....
Smart Video!..
I'm thinking the that this is for the rest of us versus future boat owners. Just like when the estimated price is displayed. My opinion.
I doubt any yacht owner is sweating the cost of fuel. Lol. They probably love it, less boaters in the water ajaja
I am only guessing but some of these 25m to 30m yachts could cost upwards of one million $ to operate a year or even more.
Marine Fuel prices Don't include Road Taxes in most States (at least that was true in Alaska) and generally run $0.15 to $0.25 cents less per gallon. Considering that Recreational Boats are simple a hole in the water that you just pour Cash into, That's quite the Bargain ! 😉
I owned a 40 foot Sea Ray Sundancer from 2007 to 2012. The thing would melt a credit card at the gasoline pump then. Now I have no idea how these people do it. Maintenance Slip rent insurance property tax all on one vessel. I learned quickly that anyone can sign up to buy one. But to keep it. Is a whole other issue. Because I did it. I would not do it again. One time is enough to own a hole in the water to through money away. Plus add depreciation value each year it gets older and loses value worst than anything. All in all a poor investment. Just because you can afford it doesn't mean it's worth the money. My boat was on a fresh water lake. It is much worse when the boat is on salt water. Much worse. We had a saying on our dock we would say to each other. " are we having fun yet"
The Lexus boat was 👌🏽.
Where the video is made? Please. From Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar State, Venezuela. Regards
9:14 Fender Alert 😎
Azimut Magellano 66 did a great job :)
What will you have when Miami sinks beneath the waves? A good start.
I love all of the information you provide on the boats including size and power. Cost to fill up is cool, so would the cost to purchase. Cost to fill up is just a reflection of fuel capacity, right? Keep up the great videos.
Where do these people get the money? Almost all of these boats are $1,000,000+ The drug dealer theories is getting old :) 👉🏻 Anyone?
I believe it's all in how much a month in payments you want to pay for fun.
That s LOT!!!
@@BoatZone some i assume are pro athletes and actors
I'd bet a lot of corporates too, business expense for entertaining clients / customers / key employees. So, costs of buying, owning, maintaining, fuel, etc all get deducted as a business expense, reducing the taxes the corporation pays.
Showing the cost of the fuel to fill up is cool. But what you need to show, is how much fuel they burn per hour.
I believe that type of info is in another video
many variables on that, no way I can now that
@@BoatZone burn at cruising speed would be interesting, and what that speed is.
You can't expect Boat Zone to show you all that information, try reading some yachting magazines
This vid illustrates why boats like Midnight Express Beast and Vitesse will probably do well. They have decent live aboard space if needed, can carry a good group of people, are relatively light, and cruise fast enough to get you to your destination quickly. Plus if you know how to trim properly can handle pretty rough chop and you don't need a crew. I get the larger yachts serve many functions such as a place to impress clients or a place to socialize whether docked or going for a short ride
ME's are all show. They're meant for the "big wallet-little wee wee" crowd. If you're going to throw a few mil at a boat buy a Nor-Tech or SeaVee. Vastly superior boats with almost as much flash that can handle sea conditions that would crush an ME. ME's have a horrid ride in even minor sea's. They're dock boats, bay boats or sandbar boats at best. A party barge with nice finishes.
@@DanielC__ I haven't been in one, but I like the way the ME's handle. I've seen another Vitesse video and i like the way it handles seas, more than the 43 or 60 versions. The MEs will stuff the bow if you don't trim them for the conditions, but with someone who knows what they are doing, I like how they ride. They are definitely popular with show offs. But I like the Vitesse especiially, and the 43. The 60 looks underpowered and probably needs inboards.
On the Pershing need to add $/hr at 35knots
awesome boats..
Fueling up a yacht is the cheap part as the toys and everything else cost way more. People that don’t have yachts think the fuel cost matter as it’s a lot of money all at once but what you don’t realize you don’t fuel up that often relatively speaking compared to the toys. Insurance and boat slips cost way more then fuel cost. Owning a boat is very expensive and always has been but more now then ever. Try to find someone to work on it that you can trust forget it. They almost always will rip you off as you are cornered and sometimes forced to fix it yourself.
Супер супер супер !!!! Вот такова плана видио я люблю ! Класс!!!!!! ✌👍👍👍
How long does a full tank last?
Cool video
The fuel thing was great.
You should say the liters or galons, now each day fuel is more expensive… but great work!
I am safe to say that the people that own these Yachts are more than capable of covering the cost of fuel! Doctors, CEOs etc. rarely run out of money, if they can afford the Yacht the fuel is the very least of their overhead..........
If I could afford one of those big yachts, I sure wouldn't worry about how much it cost to fill up the tanks.... if you do, then you can't afford it
I wonder how many of these boats are going to be taken soon.
If you ask how much it cost to fill it up you can’t afford it. But is a nice informational video
Oh I feel so sorry for these rich yacht owners

Another question is how is fuel affecting charter boats on miami, its gotta hurt
Somewhat, I own a Charter boat and just include it in operating expenses. To cover it, many Charter boat owners just raise their prices...

Miami Beach ? Greetings from the Netherlands
I’m surprised how some of these huge/expensive yachts bounce around in the waves. Some of them plowed right through like the seas were calm, and some really did some rockin’ and rollin’. Why is that? Is it stabilizers that makes the difference? (Thank you in advance from a novice who knows almost nothing about boating).
Appears mostly from the speed at which different yachts were cruising, higher speed=more cutting and less bobbing
Hull design (deeper sharper vee entry = much less bouncing up and down), weight of boat (more weight, say heavier fuel load, more water, food drinks, etc on board equals more stable, less bounce), speed (correct speed for conditions so not vee at front of hull cuts through water rather than boat bounce up and down) and trim if motors (if bow up too much, wrong trim, front of hull deep vee doesn't cut through the water, waves as well)
Many different factors affect that.. such as hull design, gross weight, length, speed, trim angle. etc.
@@karenfyhr2363 Thank you everyone for your kind responses! I didn’t even think about half of those things. When something goes wrong at this inlet, I’m so impressed at how fast help arrives on-scene. And the number of agencies involved. Seems to be a lot of lazy or just plain stupid yacht owners in Florida, I have lived on the water my whole life in WA, State and have never seen complacency the likes of Floridians. 2:50 first moron with his fenders out. 4:24 second one. 5:20 front sunshade still up underway, good way to rip it. 5:50 trying to take down sunshade underway, lol. 12:13 another with fenders out and sunshade up. 13:32 more fenders out. 16:33

'To fill up capacity.' What does that mean? You mean, 'To fill up to the tanks capacity?'
if your worried about gas prices you cant afford one of these. Looks like boat prices are about to plummet. fuel costs in europe are about 2x the US.
if they have one of those they aint worried about the cost of fuel.......
No they are not worried at all, I bet some of them write it off as taxes for business or corporate expenses.
Money can't buy common sense! Interesting to see how the different shapes hull handle the waves though.
You should post each boats gal per hour rate.

Most people who own yachts don't care about the fuel because it's usually a deduction for them like a corporate jet or rental car. A Boat is a hole in which you pour money into. The best day on a boat is the day you buy it and The day you sell it.
diesel there less than street diesel up here in WA
