Leaky wheel seals are often a symptom of a much larger problem. Leroy has a St. Bernard bath in the shop.

The look on Leroys face when that girl was rubbing his neck and back spoke volumes. 😆
The slo-mo Leroy shake was awesome!😎
He may have only one eye, but he obviously sees with his heart.
I love the big 4 legged bus at the end - LOL What a good natured lovable fella.
IDE think that bus wasn’t to far of a rear hub fire. More great work Scott! 🇦🇺🍺🍺
Having loved a big dog in the past the bath instantly bought back the big wet dog smell. Love it.
When Leroy shook it was like a brush at the drive thru car wash :-)
Leroy in the spin-dry cycle! Cool to watch in SLO mo!
Great video Scott. Leroy is the best shop dog ever. Be safe and take care.
I'm a big animal lover and any time Leroy is the subject matter I enjoy the tape even more!
Leroy is the Shaking Champ! Good Video. Bad wheel Bearing.
Abuse and neglect. Abuse and neglect. Rinse and repeat. Great work Scott!
Black plastic cement mixing troughs from HD or Lowes. I have several of them around my shop, I sit my drain pain in the middle to catch splashes, I sit it under areas where I am break cleaning, generally keeps the floor much less of a mess.
Hi Scott! You are "Thee Best" bus mechanic! Love Leroy. Thank you both for adopting him!
That bearing race looked like the Grand Canyon viewed from space!!!
Those bearings wow. Leroy was enjoying spa day great video ✌🏽
I am a little concerned that the ring and pinion fluid may be contaminated.
The slow mo of Leroy shaking off the water looked cool. That's the worst set of roller bearings I've ever seen, much longer could have been disastrous.
The king of bus repair great work!
I love St Bernard's I also grew up with Newfoundland's as well. Wonderful dogs. Great work on the Prevost. Love your video's.
It's about time Leroy had more camera time. He looks very handsome. By the way nice video.
Nice to see that some mechanics are not afraid to get their hands dirty. So many put on gloves for every job. Leroy seems to enjoy his bath.
More than repairs, saving lives.
Great video, it's fun to have a garage I can see you are enjoying that. Leroy is just having fun. Stay safe and healthy thanks 😊
Thanks for posting. I so look forward to any videos from you.
Great catch. That could be really ugly in so many ways. As to Leroy, that's the calmest St. Benard I've seen. Good job on the bearings and the pup.
That brake drum ... pretty much "Look ma! No brakes!" Thats gotta be the greasiest brake drum I've ever seen. Good thing you caught that before it caught fire or caused a wreck.
Leroy! The first dog to be washed in the new shop/dog salon! A house is not a home without a dog!
Damn , those bearings are nearly worn out , ahem , good catch . Leroy , what a dog , beautiful colour after the wash and wasn't he appreciating the fuss by that young lady . Great video 👍🇬🇧
Great job Leroy you had the rinse cycle Rocking & Rolling with lot's of Splish Spash to boot !
Game over when the pup shows up!!!!!
The bright side, those brakes would never wear out...🤪
What a wakeup in the mornin! A New Video from BGM 🤩👍 Pleasuring, thank you! Greetz from Germany
That's a big job cleaning up those wheel seal messes. I always wish that I had a heated vat for those jobs.
Scott always informative videos. Never knew you could have a Beast for a shop dog😁😄😄
Very nice Bus and so good to see Leroy! I was just in my Garage fixing my Kenmore dryer, needs a new set of rollers and a belt for the drum.
Just did that last week
@@ko9446 👍😁👍
They make dryers without any belts. My LG has an inverter direct drive system.
It's a good thing you caught that leak, you would not want that to lock up on the road. I would check the other ones too.
What a great day thanks for sharing.
Fun to see the girls give Leroy a bath.
Agree the whole drive axel needs a major cleaning. If that had let go on the highway, shudder to think
Karin is a true animal lover🐕🦺
Leroy's a cool dog
Leroy is absolutely awesome, a gentle giant. How did he lose his eye?
That's a huge four legged baby. We had a huge Newfoundland and he couldn't fit in the backseat of a 1996 Chevy Caprice; he did fit behind the third row of the Suburban. I miss him; he died of old age.
Wish you woulda posted the entire job on this. Thanks for the post.
They are in chronological order
Gawd it is amazing how a dog can self dry like that . . .
Good looking puppy
I know RV's aren't subject to DOT inspection, but if they were, the last two buses wold have been taken off the road!
Very fluffy puppy!
Awww, Leroy's so adorable!!
He is awesome 99% of the time. ;)
Yes but that 1 percent.....
Leroy the therapy dog!
The girls giving Leroy a bath brought back memories and when he started shacking off the water
haha - the sound effects of slow motion... thought my stomach was trying to tell me something.
Why do I never get tired looking at old worn out air bags????
Made me feel better about mine. They were pushing there luck a little to far.
Leroy is so cute.
wow just wow i have changed bade wheel hubs in the past , i am surprised that one did not tare it's self apart. will you try to clean the pads off or just re-line them?? my shop that would be a re-line.
I have never seen wheel bearings pitted that badly!
San bernardo lindo amiguito de 4 patitas 🤗😍🐕
ROFPMPLOL!!! Watchin' the water fly from those ears and massive flews! Der be suuuuuum dawg!
Wow! The only bearings I've seen worse than that had already failed!!
Scott. Detroit Diesels don't leak oil. They just need to leave their scent.
Leroy is so adorable. Bathtime is just more attention. Such a happy puppy!
the content is just getting better and better brother maybe have more people recording for more content more vids is more YT money
Amazing the brKes didn't set fire with all the grease.
keep the videos coming
Man Child! Kelly, you have two of them :)
Aww, Leroy loves his baff. After my Bear does his shake, and I'm soaked in Saint Bernard rain, it takes three bath towels at least. He loves those towel rubs too. Glad you have that leaking hub some love, sure explains any braking issues. Get some metal drip pans, big 3 or four foot ones, with a one inch lip. They sure keep the workshop floor clean, and you can safely spread out the removed pieces. Love 'em.
The newness is plumb wore off them bearings.... ;)
How are you planning on getting the metal contamination out of the rear end and opposite wheel end. That is the most important part of the job?
6:40 'it's asbestos coated grease' ;) and now your hands won't catch fire, eh?? ?LOL? hehehehehehehe ;)
Almost looks like a "Less than Proffessional" wrencher, installed those bearings.
Linglong ditchfinders? Cheaping out. Amazed that bearing never crapped out!
He’s had them successfully on there for over for over 5 years with no issues. Perhaps he saved a bunch of money 💰
@@BusGreaseMonkey maybe, the experiences I've had with linglongs haven't been good, maybe on high weight applications, but in car/suvs? Cheap, nasty and dangerous in the wet. Many an arse puckering moment I've had with them on cars. Still, I never learn!
At least the brake drum isn't all heat cracked/checked. Never just a minor repair when the bus tires come off for inspection
It’s amazing how much people pay for a bus and then don’t do any maintenance. Not sure if it’s this owner or the previous ones. I would guess they will all get looked at now
Raise of hands from everyone that fast forwarded to the dog 😁
"Hey Lance..."
so cool
That slow-motion showed one long tongue in Leroy's mouth!
Get her done!! Just another day get her fixed in you’re on your way!!
It's almost impossible for me top keep my hands out of the grease too. They just seem to want to dig in there. Then I'm a little sorry about it, and after most of the filthiest work is finnished, the gloves go on.
lol grin i have 2 miniature horses hear that are the size of Leroy.
They made it to your shop just in time
Welding arch on the bearing?
Now that we have the Right side covered whats the Left side look like?
Holy crap, I've never seen a bearing worn like that before 😳 How many miles are on that camper?
I don't think this would be so much mileage related, but installation or product deficiency that eventually decided to buy the farm.
Well I noticed the gloves on for washing the dog 😉😉
I would put some card board under the wheel to catch any oil and grease you that misses the pan. It will keep your floor clean.
Time for new shoes, as in brake shoes.....what causes a bearing to do that?
You need a dedicated concrete pad for dog wash and detail.
it's called a lawn
Is it more convenient for you to use the battery operated not air hose?
wow!
So why does it seem like the airbags are always junk? What's the best way to prevent this?
Hay Lance!
One clean over grown pup
Well now you need to build a dog wash and detail station in the shop....
Should a diff service be done as well? Chances are some of that metal migrated back to the differential.
Yes we are changing the rear end fluid.
@@BusGreaseMonkey in a situation like this, is it necessary to flush before filling with fresh clean oil?
Wonder who did the last brake job ?
Just something to watch "Gentry Boys" it'll surprise you what Devin, a 16 year old teenager can do on semi- equipment. He's interesting to watch. I think he's there in Tenn.....
I don't own a bus, but if I did you would be my first stop!
Leroy probably sent water halfway up the back of the bus.
It's puzzling to see so many failed wheel bearings on these buses. It's not clear why this is such a common problem.
