    • Weight, edit: not necessarily weight, That truck is around 3.5 to 4 the weight elephants can lift, but puts significant strain on their tusks, reason why it didn’t continue flipping it, elephant tusks and muscles are not made for lifting more than that, they are more for pushing

    • It was a warning . The elephant's attack was its way of CV telling them to get out and take your stupid people with you. My horses did the same thing during hunting season. They attacked trespassers with a vengence. Great watchdogs they were.

    • Yep. While elephants are matriarchal in nature, most troops that are headed by females, there is usually a male bull that roams around the area. Sometimes these bulls are connected to the troop staying on the outside of the groups. Living a more solitary life. But if someone happens to come by in a truck and you run across a herd it's best to take caution because there might be a male nearby watching. And since it's his territory you can end up on the wrong end of a bull's territorial aggression.

    • It's funny but accurate. Young male elephants are known to be aggressive. But they're usually still quite unsure of themselves and tend to hesitate when they try to display dominance. So "punk" is a pretty accurate description. 😂

  • You have to see the entire video. The safari driver turns the vehicle around to face him, the elephant had backed off but started to walk on the side of the vehicle toward them and the safari driver starts revving his engine and goes toward the elephant, instead of just leaving. I could see how this elephant took that as a challenge.

But he was standing in the way of the track, the driver wanted to drive through and was becoming very impatient, shouted and slammed the door and drove towards the bull over and over until the elephant snapped.
