I use the cord controller bungee from stageek, very minimalistic. Works great and doesn't take up too much space on my desk

I did exactly the same thing with that little cable router rubber thing before I saw your video - I stick it to the back of my monitor :D
Wrapped my mouse cable once around the monitor cable. Works like a charm lol
i just tie my mouse cord to a part of my table frame and it works well with no drag.. i did this just in case my mouse falls. but hey these bungees are cool too!
I wish you showed some faster and harsher flicks with the mouse bungee, cause it’s hard to tell if the bungee’s can withstand wide angle flicks, is it good for fast and large flicks?
On my desktop, I have a Razer soundbar just under my monitor when I'm not needing gaming audio (such as watching a movie or youtube). I have a simple strip of rubber that is sticky on one side that I put on my soundbar that goes over the mouse cord over the top that naturally lifts the cord off of my desktop with enough slack that it doesn't touch my desktop nor stretches past where my mouse movements would ever be. I've always though of the mouse bungee as a gimmick, still do.

Hey Techne, back to the lighting issue. What I am seeing in your recent videos is that the lighting in general is dim, but also the bill of your trademark hat is also casting a shadow on the upper portion of your face, including your eyes. Perhaps a couple additional lighting sources, roughly 45 degrees from the front on your left and right? 673 is my number.
yeah I agree with you. after our conversation I went back and watched some and noticed the same thing. you know what it prob is, I started raising my lights so they wouldn't shine right on my glasses. I need to figure this out. thank you again for for the constructive criticism.
@@TheTechne Hey no prob. I would like you to get the views and subs you deserve. You do a really great "regular guy" kind of review. The trick is getting just the right angle and then making sure you stick to the same positioning with your head in relation to the lights. You're an animated kind of guy so don't turn into a stiff "by any means(LOL)" as the animation is really part of your appeal as a presenter. It will take some trial and error but you will figure it out eventually. Good luck, and again, thank you for the great videos.

Very good video. My question would be: wouldn't it be better to get a wireless mouse to start with? I have one and I don't have to worry about a cable at all. Having said that, my next question would be: "is this rather for gamers?". The only reason I can think of why someone would worry about where to put the cable rather than having a wireless mouse is gamers not taking a chance on the battery dying in the middle of a game... and probably (I have no idea) lag in reaction that a wireless mouse could have compared to a wired one? Honestly, IMO, dont waste money on a mouse bungee, just ducttape the mouse cable to the side of your monitor, and there you go, free mouse bungee. Good video as always tho :)

You didn't mention anything about low sensitivity users. Your cable is really short in your demonstration. What if I need way more slack? The cable will still drag around the desk with a mouse bungee.
I play 70cm/360 and yea it does drag a little but still doesn't get in the way of anything

the point of a mouse bungee is to keep it from snagging on stuff not just to keep the cable off the mat
