She was talking about 'Huck' from 'World Beyond'. Guys, remember they are now in 'Wyoming'... home is on the East Coast, the other side of the country. I think the plan takes the reality of this distance into consideration (Writers). I don't think the 'Commonwealth' could stand up to the CRM, they're OUTGUNNED & outmanned. In the Comic it was 'Rick' who took over the _Commonwealth_ not Ezekiel. Alpha killed the King. And Rick was murdered at the 'Commonwealth' but Carl was still alive. Some are expecting 'Michonne' to die and she seems to be taking on Comic Dwight's role so that may happen but it may be that 'Rick' gets his _Comic death._ They have vacated the neighborhood that was 'Alexandria' (remember it was a REAL neighborhood). I don't think we will be seeing it again any time soon.
I believe that chopper that's flying at the end is Rick and Michonne going back to The Cascades base.

No lie. She made me feel bittersweet sadness for Jadis, and if not for her mistaken belief in the CRM. She is what rick was before he snapped out of it. Afraid, misguided, and desparate. I did not want that version of her to die. But the CRM Lapdog had to go. "I wish i had died an artist"😢😢😢❤❤ Yeah...Buuut, the important thing is that you did die🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ R.I.P. Jadis 2.0
Can we just acknowledge the amazing work by Pollyanna McIntosh here? The acting in her final scene was absolutely incredible.

People are confused in thinking that Gabriel cheated on Rosita with Jadis/Anne, but I'm thinking the romance between Gabe and Rosita ended long before his secret rendezvous with Jadis began.

I think rosita died somewhere between the 2nd and last meeting with him and Anne. He was caught up to current timeline by the end of this and in the second meeting he was talking about people straving from the whisper war. I might be off but I think that when he kissed Anne rosita had already died.

So all the meetings with Anne, including the one where Anne didn't show up, happened before the opening scene where the helicopter is flying over him. I'm hoping the CRM picked him up. Rick/Michonne could use some backup lol.
It's good to see old Rick back, been years since we saw Rick shoot someone. Feel sad for Gabriel at the end, he knew if Anne didn't show up means she's dead, so he craved a grave for her.

@@marianoyalour Pretty sure he only had to look back because of Jadis's monologue which basically turned her into a...somewhat....friend, or at the very least, someone he can empathize with. Put Joe or the guy who tried to touch Carl in front of him in that situation and eye contact would be there for sure.

The universe kept sending them gems, the best one was the Johnnie Walker lol. It seems like Richonne is not scared of Jadis, when she busted in on them, they were talking among themselves. And, also in the woods, they seem to be fearless together. They were annoyed by the people in the woods, but not scared.

Jadis lasted through 3 series, The Walking Dead, World Beyond and The One Who Live.. She had a nice goodbye for her villain arc and I love a good villain. Side note:When Jadis caught them in the hotel room and they jumped out of the bed. While Jadis and Michonne were talking, Rick was in the background shot "checking out Michonne ASS" in those boxer shorts.. Rick thinking, "we might die here so let me get one last peek." lol
I think Gabriel made sure anyone left in Alexandria was taken to the common wealth cause even though he cared for jadis he knew she was up to something

I figure that the opening scene with Gabriel is actually happening after Jadis dies and Rick/Michonne decide to go back. I'm hoping he got picked up by the CRM so that Rick and Michonne have extra backup while executing their plan.

@@iRival20 I think that the CRM would take him in if they see him dressed like a Priest, too. Interested to see how it plays out because I doubt they would only bring Gabe into the show only for Jadis. We need at least ONE reunion before the finale is over lol. Gabe and Rick would be a good one.
Ahhh yeah because he looks up at a helicopter and then it shows a helicopter at the end. It's probably that exact moment from a different angle, Rick & Michonne may even be in the helicopter

You may not have noticed this, but. After Anne doesn't show up to their yearly meeting, a heartbroken Gabriel realizes that she's dead and creates a makeshift grave marker for Anne. These were the stones at the end of the series
so i think the years flashbacks are from 5 years after the bridge to 7 years after the bridge and jadis got killed on the 8th year as Rj is almost 8 and Gabriel last saw jadis on the year michonne and nat got gassed by crm as michonne said to rick that she missed a year with her kids in the now

@@MFBloosh They sure did! Because of 'Carl'. They messed up the Comic timeline by keeping the same actor. The problem was that Negan met a 10 - 12 year old, not a 'Teenager' and many Comic Readers couldn't let that go because the TV Show fans thought the timeline ran according to Chandler's real age and the number of Seasons the show had been on... They kept trying to fix it rather than just EXPLAIN IT. Also, the problem is we age, you notice it the most with kids and a TV Show's Season is not a WHOLE YEAR ANYMORE.

But yeah, still makes no sense that we're told that the time jump in 9x5 is 6 years, but then Michonne meets Nat 6 years after the bridge? Even though they clearly went through an entire winter and spring during the whisperer war BEFORE Michonne left, which would make it more like 7-8 years after the bridge that she meets Nat and them.
@@MFBloosh Remember the final episode of Walking Dead had a 1 year time jump after they blew up the estates at the Commonwealth, so the majority of The Ones Who Live, with the exception of flashback scenes, happen after 7 full years go by after the bridge, hence why Michonne said RJ was almost 8
I loved their nonchalant attitudes toward the ppl even though they had guns on them I mean Rick and michone they gave them a matter of fact response to change their minds
Just think of how many times people have them at gunpoint (the governor, the Claim gang, Terminus, The Saviors *multiple times)… they are used to it.
I have to say I was shocked at this episode, but also Pollyanna McIntosh playing Jadis/Anne did an outstanding performance. So now, you have Mr. and Mrs. Grimes headed back to the CRM. the only thing that I could think of is just trying to CRN and killing General Beale and possibly Thorne. We have to remember how much she hates Michonne. so I think it’s going to become a battle between the four of them

0:37 I don’t know if you guys were made aware but Rick has been with the CRM for over twice as long as he was ever with his original group. It makes sense that he was being so stubborn and was genuinely that afraid of losing her again. Definitely an amazing episode though.

I’m genuinely really bummed we lost Jadis, hoped we could get more from her because Pollyanna was doing a PHENOMENAL JOB! And I felt there was more they could’ve done, but I’m glad they gave her some redemption at the end. Idk how in the world this would be able to conclude in 1 more episode without feeling cheap & rushed. So either hoping for a S2 or another series maybe 🤔

I like that despite wanting to do it for years. Rick and even Michonne don’t look remotely satisfied killing Anne. Side note but she was a great artist in that she was able to capture Glenn, Hershel and Beth’s likeness without even having met then
Jadis is what Rick might have become had he 100% given up. she lost the trash people and it broke her, she became Jadis and threw all she had into the CRM cos thats all she had. She wasn't in "love" with rick, but having him at the CRM and her visits with Gabe still connected her to the "goodness" she ones had and maybe even a vain hope of going to Alexandria one day....

I never thought I’d actually feel sad when Jadis died. That was good acting, she made me feel for her character. I finally started to understand her.

Simple, time-line analyst here, according to the sunlight hitting the shadow on the cars and the formation on the ground, I'd estimate that the time between jadis starting to run and them chasing her in the car is about 1 month in between, so rick and michonne had plenty of time to put on clothes.
Gabriel gonna come back looking for Anne and I think he might run into Rick and Michonne

Wow... again... what another fantastic episode 👏 ! Unexpected story development, it wasn't how I was thinking thing's would play out, the inclusion of Father Gabriel was a smart and touching bit, the beginning with Rick and Michonne reconnecting was so good to see and very much needed, Jadis being Jadis, the twisty turn of the story, a car chase, the pointless dispute (in my opinion !) between Richonne and Jadis... Anne's resentments, regrets and not being her true good self... her ultimate sad end... all of it was soooo Good ! I love this series... TOWL has been so great ! I'd like to add a thank you to Pollyanna McIntosh, she truly gave us all such a wonderful character in Anne/Jadis... thanks for breathing life into her character ! I'm truly actually really sad at how it ended for Jadis. Tonight's episode of The Walking Dead TOWL was awesome, it's a great story, an unexpected cameo appearance of Father G, interesting and touching moments, I have been so frustrated with Jadis, kept on thinking why... why can't she find a way to work with Rick and Michonne, I kinda always believed that she's good deep down, she did save Rick... she was once a leader, the Queen of the Scavengers, a sensitive, brilliant and resourceful artist... a Survivor, a dangerous and quite capable, strong and brave woman... such a sad end to her story. Will look forward now to seeing what comes next... there's gotta be a second season... right !? Thanks Nikki and Steven for the fun reaction videos and for sharing with us all ! I loved this Episode. It was Amazing to see your reaction to Father Gabriel. I have always been a fan of Jadis in TWD, World Beyond and this spin-off. I do believe it was time to say Goodbye. And fair dues to Pollyanna for making Jadis the character that she was. She won't be forgotten. Great reaction 💙
3 Years Ago - around the time of the pikes or between that & when kingdom fell 2 Years Ago - After Whisperers attacked Alexandria & busted down the walls, Aaron/Gabe solo mission era, pre-commonwealth 1 Year Ago - Between 1109-1110 when Gabe & Rosita Broke up OR shortly after losing her
Gabe is seeing helicopters headed for Alexandria in the opening scene.
Anne was definitely conflicted with her identity. She was Anne in her most vulnerable moments but she was Jadis in her brutal moments. But in the end, she died as Anne. Glad they didn't decide to have her kill Gabe. He's too huge of a character to die in a flashback.
I was chanting a mantra at the beginning while following the mystery boots. It went "please be someone we know, please be someone we know, please be someone we know." I was joking. I didnt think they would. That would be too awesome. Then......Gabriel! I damn near shit myself.😂
Rick has been at the CRM longer than he knew Michonne.
I was so happy that they did the timeline because it showed you where they were at. So 3 years prior he mentions Rosita so this was before Commonwealth. 2 years before when he talks about them running out of food because people that breach their wall was during Commonwealth and then a year prior would have been just the aftermath of Commonwealth
I thought the 2 year mark is when Beta's hord that ran through Alexandria. Commonwealth came soon after.

Of course there's going to be another season ❤️💯 You have to remember Rick was already gone for about 4 years ( he wasn't around for Jesus s death, the Whisperers and so on). Those 4 yearly meetings ( 3 with Jadis a one w/o Jadis happened after Rick was gone) Which was a total of 8 years. Oh you know we are going to get a cliffhanger 💯. I love this show so much❤️💯

Guys, Gabe and Rick are an entire country apart. In episode 3 the mission killing walkers was in the Cascade Mountains near Portland. It was a long helicopter ride for sure. The jumped out on the way back and are now in Wyoming. They left a trail down Interstate 90.

I think that’s kind of underestimating the CRM. Rick was suppose to get the echelon briefing & the summit with all the leader is in a few days story wise. It doesn’t really make sense for them to continue home and risk that CRM would search Jadis thing when she doesn’t return and find the paperwork on Alexandria. It makes more sense to deal with that threat before they go home and possibly lead these ppl to where their children are. I’m glad they both realized that have a responsibility not just to their family & community but to the world to do something about the CRM committing genocide.
I agree 100% the CRM wiped out Omaha that had a population of 100,000 without breaking a sweat.
The fact that Michonne left Alexandria at the peak of the fight with whisperers she has no idea about commonwealth so in their current state I don’t believe she believes they could put up a fight & yeah Steven it would be real nice if we didn’t have to put much stake in that threat they have with the file but I think the writing was done in a way to really emphasize that, least that’s how I’ve taken it so far. Agree that we have to get a S2 tho!!!
Great episode, but makes me concerned for the final episode. Looked they were on their way to wrapping it up and getting back. Then they opened a whole new plan and I'm worried they can't wrap it up in one episode. But I'm exited to see what happens.

From the start, there was little chance that this was all going to get wrapped up in 6 episodes. But it’s leading to either a second season or a crossover spinoff.
@@MHrickgrimes Calling it now, all the second seasons of the spinoffs will have a post credit scene after their finales, Samuel L Jackson will recruit them for an initiative tasked to stop the CRM. The Final show will have them all reunite and will be named The Walking Dead: Endgame. Imagine Rick, Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Michonne, Eugene, AND Negan, all in one room talking to each other.

Something that I realized up until this point, Michonne left well before The Commonwealth storyline S10E13, doesn't even know that Maggie returned (unless mentioned via walkie by Judith) , that Negan killed Alpha, that Alexandria became a Commonwealth Outpost, that Daryl is gone looking for Rick, that Carol is gone, looking for Daryl. But until this episode, I didn't know that Jadis knows much of this, as we see, she'd talked to Gabriel once a year for the past several years. I think Michonne was justifiably angry with Jadis for what she stole from her but upon realizing once again how they twist people’s mindset clicked with her. She took no satisfaction in telling Jadis imo what they were going to do but rejects everything she already knew to be true which is why she put this set of actions in motion. She was a complex villain for certain who like many others in this episode and series haven’t taken the second chance offered to them. She chose to double down in the face of her doubts due to fear and ultimately led to her demise.
I've just realised something. In season 7 when we were first introduced to jadis, she threw rick into a walker called "Winslow" to test him. I wonder if she was testing him to see if he was a A or a B so that she could potentially trade him to the CRM. Is that a possibility?

Hey guys! Love your channel and love hearing your discussions on TWD. Its question time and I would love to hear your thoughts. Surprisingly, I have been really intrigued with the rick/machonne episodes. So the CRM seems to be the new baddy in TWD universe and I agree there has to be a season 2. My question would be what are your thoughts about a possible reunion with Maggie, Negan, Daryl, Carol for future episodes? The reason I ask is Negan is my favorite character (both before and after his change of heart) and I am desperately missing his smart-ass comebacks. I think it would be interesting "to get the band" back together to fight the CRM issue. BRING BACK NEGAN!!!!

I still love jadis. I always believed in her. She wasn’t bad, she was just too far gone. She’ll always be my cleaver girl tough Raptor she is. Truly she had the spirit of an Velociraptor. Her group, but lost and she is was still going strong. She couldn’t trust anyone ever since she lost her group. Like I don’t blame how she changed. I see on her part, Gabe and Ann had history, if you remember. RIP Jadis. She wasn’t delusional. She wanted to take over and be in control cause she lost so much. RIP my favorite Cleaver Girl.

Scott Gimple the show runner said he is planning a huge cross over with all the spin-offs. Which is most likely bringing everyone back together to take on the overlapping villian of all the shows the CRM. Which also includes Morgan leaving fear the walking dead final season talking on the walky talky saying Rick I'm gonna come look for you. But also Rick and Michonne getting married now makes me worried something bad will happen as a cliff hanger in the finale The only thing all the spin-offs are missing is the climbing, Door knob opening evolved zombies from the final season of the walking dead
