Best South Korean series. Please react. His name is moving
its definitely grief for Richie..he lost his best friend, close to losing his family, and now hes worried about losing the restaurant the way it was
hearing Nikki and Steven say they're so stressed just from episodes 1 and 2 has me going: honey, you got a big storm comin' 😅 this show blows me away with how realistic the dialogue and writing are. I feel like I'm watching real people interacting and it's freaking addicting! 🤩
Can't wait for episode 6 season 2 LMAO
@@Quzga fishes & forks!
@@supersucks I love Forks so much but Fishes is so mentally draining Im glad i can watch it thru their reaction and not on my own lmao
@@Quzga YES! Fishes is stressful but amazing television. Forks is my favorite episode of the entire show and I can't wait to see their reaction. there’s so much to get to before that, tho.
Oh, I just KNEW Nikki would melt seeing how Richie talks to his daughter lol
I love the writing and performances! The conversations are so natural and realistic, and without just doing exposition dumps, they use situations like the one-sided phone call to expose the inner heart and personal relationships with Ritchie. And immediately after showing his surface as being despicable and immature😅 Love this show
4:26 yes as an individual who've has served many people in my life time. It CAN get this brutal. I've been in the kitchen industry for almost 10 years now.. yes it can get brutal but that's how you build character.. right? Or am I being abused? 😅😬
yep, this show doesn't insult the intelligence of the audience by explaining everything. but the show flows like real life so it's not difficult to follow.
they marinated richie’s character plot fr i fucking love him
@@tellmeajoke4645 omg a bot comment
I can't wait to see their reaction to who plays Michael Can't wait for the Richie arc
I'm also very excited for them to see who plays the Step-dad at family dinner 😃
I thought the same after Nikki's comments about Richie, just wait girl! 🤣 Steven already gets him I think!
That and the mom!
I still wanna hear Pete's Urgent Care/Carmy story.
This show is incredible. Every direction, the acting, the writing, the cinematography, the sound, and the storytelling through a chaotic setting…love it.
I love the reactions of people who have never worked at a high level in the restaurant industry. It's just pure horror with reactions like "you all need counseling." How do you think we cope with the pressure? Most of us are lunatics who blow off steam in the most destructive of ways. Even better is this is only episode 2 in season 1... enjoy the ride you two.
Very unhealthy industry. It's very sad to see how the self-destructive tendencies and drug/alcohol abuse are almost glorified, because "everyone's doing it" and laughing about it to deal with the stress so why not do it too?
this is why most chefs are addicts not even just about drugs but addicted to something..alcohol…cigarettes
Richie is one of the best on the show! You wanna strangle him one minute but love him the next ❤
Nikki and Steven, I watched your reactions for Game of Thrones and Ozark. I enjoy you 2 very much so am happy to be joining you again for The Bear. Wishing you continued success 💛🔥
Speaking of Uncle Jimmy, the actor was also in John Favreau’s film Chef (2014). If you wanna see a feel good film about food I’d recommend it!
Great film!
I'm here just to like the video now, and save it to watch later. That's how good this show is, that's how good of reactors you guys are.
This show is great in making you believe that the characters are one-dimensional and then suddenly showing you a totally different side of them.
I love it so much, every character is very dear to me
I am soooo glad you guys are reacting to The Bear. So excited to go on this journey with y'all!
YESS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR YALL TO START THE BEAR 🔥🔥🙏🏾
Great reaction, everyone dislike Ritchie in the beggining but i promise you in season 2 you are gonna love him! Keep up the good work
This show has so many good characters. You will love ALL of them! Especially Fak & Pete... everybody needs these guys as friends.
I feel like Richie has always been jealous of Carmy's relationship with Michael. It sounds like Michael encouraged Carmy, probably was proud of his accomplishments and talked about him, meanwhile Richie's the one who's by his side, watching him spiral and trying to help keep the business that was supposedly so important to Michael from falling apart. Then he leaves the business to Carmy.I figure Richie's also got some anger towards Michael, because of the way he died, and he's transferred it onto Carmy.
Dk if yall caught it yet but the actor the plays Richie is the same actor that played micro in the punisher
The health inspector dropping info that delivers at the end of season 2. 🤯
I can't wait for y'all to see the very special guest star when they show up.
Just want to say how happy I am you guys are doing this show. So so good
As for Ritchie, he does have some pretty bad behavior and needs to work through things. That said, he also lost his best friend and is going through a divorce, and it’s seems recent enough that it’s still impacting him as shown with still wearing the ring and mentioning having divorce lawyer bills backed up while taking care of Carmy’s mom in episode 1. So all the pain that Carmy and Sugar are going through losing a brother, he’s also going through. I love his character though, he’s just so entertaining even as a dick and his arc is great too, looking forward to y’all seeing it.
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of The Bear!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
This show has some of the best character development in just two seasons. The journey we get to see is just special and this is easily one of the best shows on television right now.
I blew through both seasons available so quick. It’s so good. Can’t wait for the next season!
This has absolutely become one of my favorite shows ever, and we are JUST GETTING STARTED.
Love that you guys are watching this! You are already understanding why this show is one of the best. The characters, the story, the cinematography, the realism...it's just the best! Episodes 7 and 8 of this season, and episodes 6 and 7 of the next are some of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Keep it up you two!
You guys are gonna love this show so much! I binged both seasons and then immediately started them again and watched them with my 14yr old daughter. One of the best shows ever! Edit: also, "cousin" aka Richie will grow on ya, don't worry lol
Uncle Jimmy and Ms. Chore are on the NBC shows Chicago Med and Chicago PD, respectively :)
“She’s five like like Carmy, food and wines best new dickhead” “Oh shit syds making moves” I love Richie
I dont know any action TV show That can keep me at the edge of my SEAT the whole episode and produces asmuch adrenaline as the Bear. Amazing writing about grieving
If you've ever heard of a famous chef named Thomas Keller (I believe he was the first three Michelin star American chef; The French Laundry is his restaurant), McHale recently said that he was the primary inspiration for his character here. (And if you're wondering if Carmy has a similar real-life inspiration, apparently Marco Pierre White was one of them (at least, in terms of how Carmy looks/dresses in the kitchen).
The acting, direction, editing, music, and cinematography are all award worthy. You two are really getting it. San Marzano 🍅😍
Yay!!! Love that you guys are reacting to this. Is it such a great show. Intense AF but with wonderful heartfelt meaningful moments sprinkled throughout. Looking forward to more reactions. 🙂❤️
So true, cook all day and do not cook properly for yourself, then fall asleep and dream you are at work.
I worked is summer rep theatre which was very stressful and yeah when I tried to sleep I would have very stressful dreams! Even have them today every once in a while.
Fantastic show, so thrilled to watch you guys react to this one. ❤
As a former chef, a PBJ, Coke and chips is exactly what you eat at home. I'm not banging out steak au poivre and tuna livornaise all day to come home and do the same thing.
Some smoke detectors actually have a heat function also, So like my old one used to go off when I opened the oven cause all the hot air would flood out right in the direction of it and it would start going off. It could be that on yours as well lolol.
So excited to keep going with this series! I miss being able to see the live streams (they happen kinda late in the North East).
This is the most bingeable series ever. The episodes are short so i just couldn't wait to see what happens next. I did the first series in two nights. Series two in one day. Can't wait for S3. Luv you guys
I love how much you guys already love the show!! ❤❤
Love your reactions and conversations!❤
Love your reactions. They're so honest and wholesome.
I wish yal would do 2 of these a week😢
I once ate at a place in Los Angeles county that was shut down by the health department for serving cat or dog. Lol
I know Richie is an asshole but the actor does such a good job I can’t help but love him
A pb&j and chips is accurate for chefs eating at home
Cousin is an asshole sometimes which makes him the realest character on the show for sure
I'm pretty sure most Burger King restaurants have "C" ratings. I think it's an industry standard for them along with the shake machine always being broken. 😂🤣
This is an interesting show I have never seen it or heard of it before except for the first episode Watching with you guys
Loved your reaction as always💗 You should check out society of the snow, i would love to hear what you have to say about that one
Best South Korean series. Please react. His name is moving
5:40 "I'm not sure about cousin though..." Ohhhhhh....
The fact you can sell vintage blue jeans for enough to fund a business is everything wrong with our consumer culture.
I hit up B restaurants. That means it usually packed and they dont have time to clean
Hey guys, when or if you get a chance, another really good show for you both to check out is called Wentworth, which is an Australian TV show based in a women's prison. Don't let the Aussie accents put you off, this is one of the best prison drama shows I think I've ever seen.
The first 4-5 seasons were great. Bee's story was heartbreaking and made me cry
i've watched wentworth 3 times...it'll be one i go back to every couple of years. great characters!
The idea of letter grades for health dept ratings is scary, it should be pass/fail. Every restaurant I've worked in was A or nothing.
Can we just fast forward in time to the two of you reacting to s02e06 & s02e07? Your reactions to those two episodes back-to-back are going to be UH-MAY-ZING content for us!
Or at least fast forward to S1E7 & S2E8
Could we please not raise expectations about specific episodes?
@@LeapYearJayexactly
I might eat at C restaurants now that i see thats all it takes to get one lol
Can’t wait for 2x7
I have absolutely eaten at a C. In Chicago, no less. Next time I looked, the place was shut down. Forever.
❤❤❤
I hope you’re both invested enough to watch all of this show. It’s definitely not for everyone, I’ve been in the business my entire adult life so I connect to this show spiritually. But knowing how connected you two get to characters the payoff in this show will be epic for you. Just saying, hold on tight and see this one out.
You can talk trash about the softball/baseball concessions all you want but sometimes that shit hits the spot, especially on long game days
oh it does for sure
Why did ep. 3 not drop this week?
he was cooking while sleep walking
I seen it all in the restaurant scene seen a uber driver work as a part time job with bad attitude and try punching people at restaurant to working on a cruise ship with two chefs the treating a McDonald's employee who never says yes chef no chef lazy better then anyone in kitchen its crazy.
French Laundry had an unfortunate little intsta story or somesuch come out not long ago showing their kitchen has mice. Just goes to show ya, fancier doesn't mean cleaner
Remember this episode🤔.
C's be bomb sometimes
Those are very good cans of tomatoes....😏
Very lol
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh
Moral of the story: don't smoke kids.
React to the film: LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL (2024), easily the best horror film of the year, creative and unexpected, you're going to love it.
Later his mom says, “I make things beautiful for everyone, no one makes things beautiful for me.” Which is perfectly represented when you see him make amazing food at work. And then eat pbj and Doritos at home
I totally forgot about him throwing the tomatoes in the trash..... dang
Don't give up on Richie, he's an ass but he'll get better.
I know kitchens can be intense but the idea of kitchen culture being = badass to being a bank robber or drug dealer is so silly. You're making Horderves, chill out with the tough guy stuff
The Sopranos is also a terrible show to watch when you're starving.
Tony’s smacking makes it less appealing. But, yes I agree.
Watched 2 seasons and this show is below mediocre. My girlfriend made me watch and legitimately the only good episode so far was a reunion which is carried by great actors/actresses. Pointless show I’m sorry for the rant I hate she made me watch it lol
It’s your taste so nobody can discuss it. I personally really love it. Why force yourself though? Maybe one or 2 episodes but 2 seasons?
@@KamandaHickey Its one of those if she likes it then its a good show but I secretly hate it deals lmao
So why would you come to a reaction of it? And if you don't like something you should be able to tell your lady. Sorry you didn't enjoy it as much as so many of us did. It wracked up awards too.
@@ladyhotep5189 Ohhh we Jumpin now!? Come at me Bro! This shows Garboogio! ahahahah. Also winning awards means little to nothing in todays world. Basically participation awards with below average viewer ratings! : P
This guy 🤦♂️
