Originally released for the Game Boy™ system more than 25 years ago, one of the most beloved games in the Legend of Zelda series returns. In this modern re-imagining, players once again return to the mysterious island of Koholint to guide Link on a perilous adventure.     • That's a good way to sum it up. This Zelda game looks way, WAY different from the others, especially due to it's different art style.....more so different than Wind Waker's art style. But I can't wait for this game to come out. It looks.....interesting.

  • I can't remember the last time I cried or had tears form naturally. Hearing that ending with Marin sing ballad of the windfish felt like I got the wind knocked out of me. My eyes were filled with tears without warning. It was like a sharp punch in the gut and a slap in the back of the head, but without pain nor negative feeling. I've only ever felt tears of sorrow, then nothingness for several years. If this is what tears of happiness feel like, I wish to feel this again.

    • The original had a few cutscenes that were 2D animated like that, so the animation will likely stay there. However, it was only for a few cutscenes as far as I know.

  • That humming of "Ballad of the Wind Fish" by Marin at the end of the video... :') Got me tearing up. Such an emotional game... I'm happy about this remake even though I won't be able to play it, and I love how they recreated the world very accurately, 100% respecting every tile, but I think I still prefer the 2D style of the original (in color with DX). Still, it's so awesome that many more will get to experience the game and its special concept!

    • Precisely why I wanted them to put more ambition into this. Even if it was originally for Gameboy, it's many people's favorite entry for being the darkest of them all while still being colorful. Yet we're getting "Zelda meets claymation".

  • I recognized it from the waves. The first game I played on a gameboy, the first Zelda game I've played (only one I finished probably).... Definitely feeling the aster! Color me psyched Nintendo. Yet strange how I am psyched and getting ready to cry again... That ballad of the Windfish tune aways gets me
