It already seemed fantastic after just a year or two of development... and now after working on it for 5 more years, the game is probably so big that even professional game players will have a hard time fitting the whole game in their heads. It's probably going to have a mind-blowing amount of detail. The latest info suggests it's like 3 times as big as Hollow Knight, and still growing.

I kinda like how this looks more colorful than the original.
I think it is because Hollow Knight was supposed to be dark, blue and everything, with blackness and greyness everywhere (apart from when our boy Grimm), befitting of the main protagonist, whereas Hornets story is more bright and cheerful and about exploring a new world.
