On my most recent world there are four ocean ruins next to each other on the surface of my world near an ocean. If I go to the debug screen it says the biome is an ocean, so I think what happened was the sea floor rose so high that it was above the water and just so happened to generate ruins. All four had a chest, only one was exposed though. I had to uncover gravel from the other three. But free ocean loot without going in the ocean? Pretty cool!
Its always awesome to find surface ruins for sure and they seem to have a lot of lore possibilities with them too
yea lol I had one small building generate on the beach and I thought it was a new structure
i started a world with my friend and we found three surface level shipwrecks all on one map!
About a month back I saw 6 ancient ruins together, it was more like an ancient underwater city
@@Eyecraftmc hey! I’m currently working on building a computer so I can start my own Minecraft KZhead channel! Do you think me and you can talk? I’d like to get some advice, if you’re willing to share. You’ve inspired me to start a KZhead channel! Please reach back out to me if you can give me some pointers!
Just a tree enthusiast here; Bark is removed from any wood being used underwater, due to it’s ability to harbor moisture and rot, rather than it being washed away by the water 🙃 Side note, the half of the ship that is underwater does not rot because the molds need air, as well as moisture. However, the middle of ships are constantly going back and forth between submerged and exposed to air, and therefore very susceptible to rot Love your vids, very informative and thought the tree facts would be appreciated 😬
Very informative, thank you mr tree enjoyer

Ocean exploration is underrated. Glad to know that the Sniffer mob will change that!
Yes I'm super excited for the sniffer too!
I was about to explore the ocean and was wanting to watch a proper guide about that, and the timing is perfect! Thank you Eyecraft much love
Glad it helps! also feel free to check out my ocean guide kzhead.info/sun/nM6ngpGFfqxsgWg/bejne.html that may be useful also
On bedrock buried treasures are absolutely insane, i went into chunkbase and found there were like 10 buried treasures within 200 blocks of where I was
5:48 Had this with the tower structure. It looked like a watchtower on a cliff and beneath it in the water were several others, including that weird cathedral structure with the terracotta floor and some others.
Didn't play recent Minecraft updates in like a decade because I love playing modded servers which is UPDATES away from the latest one (fossils and archaeology). Now my friends made a realm so these videos have been helping a ton. Thank you for these! Simple, easy, straightforward, and enteraining! Appreciate what you do! Rn using your tip for diamond mining
OH MY.. finally I found the person who gives full explanation in a detailed way...I love how you explain everything so well, evrey Minecraft players should watch your Videos, You're awesome I'm really Thanks u alot 🧡 Thank you for being on KZhead 🙏🏻
fr, too many loud youtubers screaming and joking and barely giving any info lol.
You're so welcome!
Dude, your videos are so awesome! I consider myself a serious Minecraft veteran (lol), but I'm still learning new bits from you even after thinking I knew it all. It seriously scratches an itch to hear someone cover the updates and features so thoroughly and consistently.
Thanks! i never really researched much about the underwater structures, this is great!
i've found several full shipwrecks that had no treasure chests in them :( those are the worst. i literally broke them completely down though and kept every piece of wood as compensation and frustration Lol. i never knew about the invisibility potions working like that for raiding the monuments, that's pretty interesting. for me the first thing i do when i go in those, is set up a conduit when i go in. i keep my conduits with me (about 15 lol) in a shulker with a few stacks of 42 different types of the blocks that work with it, so i can just grab a stack of 42 and one conduit and then dont have to worry about night vision or underwater breathing in the entire monument. love your guides they're very detailed and informational ^_^!!
been playing 10 years. Learned several new things watching this! Thank you.
Nice video timing, I was planning to go on an ocean exploration, kind of a big adventure. Raiding ocean monuments, exploring ocean ruins, looting shipwrecks and buried treasure chests (I am on bedrock so buried treasure is very common) This video is very helpful, Thx :D
Nice! Good luck on your raid
The ocean biomes have something about them, currently still working on a underwater world in my hardcore survival and this came in very handy 👍
Your channel is so exceptional. You legit have every topic in minecraft one would ask about
Love your videos very helpful for players like me and my friends that haven't played in years keep up the good work !
Your welcome!
I found 4 "underwater" ruins aboveground as I was following an eye of ender. 2 more generated underwater in the middle of a ravine so the blocks had very different y levels. Altogether very strange generation; the two chests in the actually underwater ruins generated right on top of each other.
I recently started playing the game again after 4 to 5 years, your guides is fucking amazing. Plus, the way you explain it very clear and direct, without skipping a single thing, even the ones we all already know. Best minecraft channel I've seen. You got so much knowledge of the game, its so fucking interesting. I even feel like there's always things that even those who kept playing it don't know about
Mind your language please, also I agree
Oh yes! A new tutuorial video! I appreciate it man, you are one of my favorite youtubers!
Thank you!
This guy has the best Minecraft guides ever. GOAT Minecraft KZheadr who’s channel deserves way more attention
Thank you 🥰🥰🤩🤩
Even though I know all this stuff, your videos are so good I watch the whole thing 👍
Same
Thanks lol
I guess my response should say even WHEN I know all this stuff. Because I don't know all of it but when there is a video that I do know all of it I still watch it LOL
Dudeee thanks so much I just got back innto Minecraft and it’s Been YEARSSS since I last played, There’s so much Stuff that’s been addded
I haven't got the water breathing potion yet and I haven't found netherwarts ugh this game is so funny I started colonizing my islands and make little cities for them to live in i love it
I appreciated the moment you stopped to look at the 4 block tall sugarcane.
most quality channel on youtube so thorough
Some ships are prisoners of the ice peaks in frozen oceans and they sometimes are above the water level, you didn't talk about it. Hope you can find some that's a cool feature of this game :)
I honestly feel like the should replace the gold blocks with diamond blocks at this point. Diamonds still hard enough to find and super useful bits not the top end anymore. Plus the blue fits with the esthetic
I love that, ngl.
@13:48 idk if this is bedrock exclusive, but instead of surrounding the tnt, just put a same/gravel block on the top of the tnt block before you light it. Once lit, the sand/gravel will “fall into” the tnt block and allow it to explode underwater.
Dope video! What font do you use in your thumbnails bro?
another great guide thanks eye
Dang I am waaaay too early lol
Yes, this is what I want. Hate to be greedy but. Eyecraftmc, please make an updated rail system!
Waw, this is going to be useful when we wull have to get sponges on the survival world of our channel!! Thank you!
Your Welcome!
This is a really useful guide thankyou
No Problem!
Hey man, is youre storage systeem for Java ore bedrock? Good video bye te way
Oh... the amount of ocean ruins I haven't explored properly, lol the lost loot opportunities! Another great video Eye! Hope you have a lovely day too 😄
Its great mate
Playing a survival world in Minecraft Bedrock on my mobile. I spawned and built a base right beside an ocean and trust me, i had an inkling that it has to contain a structure. It turned out to be true when i sailed across the ocean yesterday and spontaneously got the achievement "Atlantis?" i tried swimming down to it but a horde of 4-5 drowned ambushed me as soon as i left my boat. This guide is gonna help me, thanks! Btw should i raid the ocean ruins yet or wait till the new update to get the new sniffer eggs and suspicious gravel?
I'm just getting ready to raid an Ocean Monument and I completely forgot about the Invisibility Potion when it comes to the Guardians. Will run back to my base and brew up a few. Also need to remember to take off all my armor when doing the raid. Thanks for the update. On Bedrock (which I play on) all blocks are water loggable so sadly the under water door trick doesn't work on Bedrock. This of course is an early game thing as once you can brew potions an underwater breathing potion is much better.
I discovered recently that ladders do the same thing that doors do on Java Edition.
Awesome, great intel 👍
LIT!
Firework guide please! They're confusing
I had half a shipwreck generate above ground, near y- 170. Thought they added spaceships to Minecraft since it had been a min since I last played lmao
Once the Sniffer gets added into Minecraft, ocean exploration will skyrocket in levels never before seen since 1.13.
Your videos always have the best timing. Yesterday I wanted to raid an ocean monument and i didn't know how. Are you reading my mind? 🤔
In my world the front half of the ship is like 300 blocks in the sky and the rest of it is on the ocean floor. Probably like a 400 block difference.
That's a crazy glitch!
Must've been an airship.
A plane crashed
this videos are always helpful
never knew about feeding dolphins i've always used the for dolphins grace i had no idea
2:51 “Use it as a water source”. Ah yes, when I need to breath, water.
for my bedrock homies if the left and right coordinates are devideable by 8 and it is on the cross of the map it is where you can find the treasure
10:18 hmm that map looks like a map of north america but whoever made it just decided to expand the great lakes by like 500x
@Eyecraftmc , what would be your personal tier list of ocean structures?
Probably: Ocean Monument, Buried Treasure, Shipwreck, Ocean Ruins, Ruined Portal. But they all have a lot of useful and interesting features so its a hard decision
It makes more sense for the mast of the ship to be stripped logs. Normal ships don’t have a tree
Once on an old world i found a cold ocean ruin where there were 2 chest on top of eachother.
If you can get footing you can push your boat off the magma blocks and they will resurface, at least that's the case in Java.
In my current world there’s a ship wreck that generated on the surface in a frozen biome so it looks like it smashed into an Iceberg
In Bedrock every single block is water loggable and that means doors don't work. Also drowned actually swim towards you in Bedrock and sharpness 5 on a netherite sword does 14 damage on Bedrock Edition too rather than 11
There's a video on that you should look it up
in my minecraft world i explore ocean ruins too but i only explored two so far
I've been trying for so long but still haven't been able to get a trident. I need to build a farm. ❤
You are best youtuber 💖
I remember finding a sunken ship a good 100 blocks in the sky. Not sure what happened there
Most people who have a million subs don't make very good content, while people who have hundred thousands of subs make super good content.
I had a recent issue on ocean exploration. All shipwreck had treasure maps labeled as such. But once in my hand they were just empty maps and if I used them they just mapped the area I stand on. Any else had this issue and know how to fix it? Minecraft Java 1.19.2 Optifine launcher on a java server
Goat 🐐
I’ve got a seed that has at least four of those samples with the guardians
I once found ocean ruin on a village in my smp lmao. There was water underneath so the game thought it was appropriate for a ruin to spawn on a village house
I had found a wreck that had appeared to be on its nose with a modified capitan cabin
The best youtuber
Best Freaking Minecraft KZheadr Ever. I have learned so much from your channel about Minecraft than i have in all my years of playing minecraft 💚💚💚💚
Would love to see a video on your opinion of Minecraft Feedback ideas.
Interesting Idea!
Hello ! Could you make a farm xp guide someday? I tried many video technique but never succeeded, the mobs doesn't spawn...
I've raided a lot of shipwrecks in bedrock edition but barely any of them have the treasure chest!
Is there some bug that will cause the burried chest to not spawn or there are fake maps?
i love your videos
I got lucky and spawned near a town and there was an upright ship near it. I made it my home X)
Day 1 of telling eyecraftmc to create an f3 functions guide
I once found a floating ocean ruin is it possible Like it was over the ocean like over the surface of ocean 10 blocks up from sea surface
Ok 🙏🏼🖤
Hello friend, a year ago you did a tutorial on custom heads in minecraft. Would you know anyways of xbox bedrock
I found a random buried chest with 2 chain leggings , heart of the sea , iron , gold , and DIAMONDS!!!!!!!!!
Uh I get hurt by magma blocks... been wondering how you doing dat 😂
does the water breathing glitch work in bedrock?
I found ship wreck on an iceberg and i got treasure map abd enchanted armour
In my world the ocean monument is right next to the shipwreck
Best shipwreck I’ve found was stuck in an iceberg halfway up it
Baba boi
I just started a new world where I found a shipwreck buried under sand and one totally under ground.
There are no chests inside the raid temple?
Shipwreck chests have been laggy as shit recently. We can't even open them on the multiplayer server my friend and I have.
When do the sniffer eggs come in the game ?
Fun drinking game: Take a shot every time he says ruins
Me: Waits for them to add active volcano
They could probably do that with a special type of block that creates rising lava above it
Eyecraftmc thumbnail = instant click
5:00 EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?!? NANI?????
Just came back to MC after like 6 years, damn the ocean monuments are dissapointing!!
Can you you do a guild to the deep dark please
To MOJANG: if drown is a undead not water mob so impaling can't deal more damage on them then allow us to add smite on trident 🔱.😎
I’m trying to find something but bad news I spawned in a snowy biome
