  • I had to do this last time I was in Germany because when they make the parking lots, they seem to not account for the fact that people have to actually open their doors... had a 4 series rental with a manual so I rolled down the windows with the remote, threw it in neutral and gave it a shove...

    • @@orvvro The twingo is more fun rather than a dull SUV, in that case you want a sports car which are actually not too big and therefore easier to park. I'm just saying that SUVs are very pointless for city use

    • European cities were not built for cars. And the cities are reducing parking spots to reduce inner city traffic. The future is neither ICE nor EV.

    • Sorry but we have two VW, Jetta Sport 2013 and Clásico 2014, they were brand new and we had NEVER to repair them. Wer’e about to buy a new car and it will be a VW as well, maybe Taos. Just for the record, I’m from Mexico and both Jetta and Clásico were built here, Taos is also built here.

    • it's not just SUVs that have a problem.. I had a 4 series last time I was in Germany and they seem to not account that you have to actually open the doors when they design the parking lot spaces.

    • @Crestas given the current market, as long as it's under the Q7, I believe it'll sell. Even a base Atlas is running close to $40k now

    • This is built to tow 7700 lbs and is rwd-based like the cayenne, the atlas is a completely different kind of car. I think enough Touareg buyers are sad they don’t have a comparable upgrade option and would gladly buy a new one in the states.

    • @@Jmort93 the Atlas definitely can't compare as an upgrade from an older Touareg, but I'm sure most current owners also own TDI models and would like to upgrade to a newer one, especially since there are no options for a mid-sized diesel SUV anymore

    • @@CooperStation01 I do not have a V8 TDI, mine is a 3.0L TDI. I wish for the V8 TDI, and I imagine that if you can live with the cost of buying and owning any vehicle, you can live with the cost of operating it too. Fuel economy is NOT the #1 vehicle priority for the overwhelming number of vehicle owners. It's utility and "fit for use" factors, like towing capability , many passengers, long distance trips, home owner, etc.

  • I wish I could get one in the U.S.; I have to go back to Germany or overseas. At least the ID Buzz is coming to the U.S....bad thing is my wife wont like the Buzz because the way it looks - I love it.
