    • To be fair, yesterday he wasn't in danger of being removed from office. The sad part is that I believe that, as it was happening, he felt proud of what he had wrought. It would have seemed proof of his power over his supporters. As usual, though, he never considered the consequences.

    • Historically, people who attempted the stuff Trump, Giuliani, Bannon & co tried to pull off last winter as a bid for power, and who failed, have often ended up hanged in public. or locked away for life. Sometimes court-martialed - or sometimes they have killed themselves fast to escape a trial and harsh punishment for their treason. Trump is lucky that he's unlikely to see such a fate, but he and his henchmen (some of them female) should definitely be put on trial.
