  • I don't want to hear "Shaq carried Kobe" anymore. It took two. Kobe is goat of Lakers and top 2 ever to play in my opinion.

    • @@chitownkidd33 you mean more dominant force (freak of nature) haha Kobe was the better player and far more skilled. Shaq was just huge and a beast

      @ianwashington7751@ianwashington77514 жыл бұрын
    • Ian Washington Kobe was in no way shape or form a better player then MVP Shaq who had 3 40 point games in that finals. To attribute it to merely his size is disrespectful to how skilled Shaq was as a player, you don’t average 38 ppg on size alone.

      @chitownkidd33@chitownkidd334 жыл бұрын
    • @@chitownkidd33 size has a pretty big thing to deal with it. Sure he was a skilled big man but how hard is it to dunk on every body. Skilled players can hit free throws. Can Shaq shoot fade aways, 3 point shots, dribble around you, spin, go under you and also dunk on you like kobe could and he was smaller. Anybody that knows basketball knows it takes more skills to play at guard position. Kobe had it all and was a better player with so much in his arsenal. Like a said you can't teach size but shaq might be the greatest skilled big man but not skilled player.

    • 'Fro-Be' was dangerous, and believe it or not, underrated...it's hard to say that, but back then, he was. NBA was still a Big Man's game, and Shaq was the MAN!! Giving him the MVP wasn't a crime, but I know that Shaq appreciated Kobe more than anyone.

  • It’s been over two months and still doesn’t really feel real. Through all the pain and mourning we’ve experienced in these last couple months, there’s also been an abundance of reminiscing and cherishing of Kobe’s career. I felt like I was already long overdue for uploading new videos, but after the unthinkable tragedy in January and everything that’s been happening in the world lately, I knew I couldn’t wait any longer. So whether you want to relive your favorite Kobe memories or just need some basketball to watch while the season is on hold, please enjoy this game-by-game highlight of Kobe’s first championship series. More soon!

Kobe held his own and proved how great he really was and it gave him a lot of confidence going into next season. Like Kobe said in an interview, if Shaq has his work ethic, they could have won more than 3 rings. Problem is they could not put both their egos aside but nonetheless they did their jobs and won 3 of them. RIP Mamba!! 🙏🏽

Some of those stories are just normal, even tiny stories, but they've got the warm human touch. This is a cruel world, but Kobe's legacies and stories encourage me to become a better man.

  • I noticed that if any of the Lakers besides Kobe scored, the Lakers bench would go crazy. Kobe does an amazing move and makes the shot....they just sit there and stare with no movement. Old vets hating on the young man. Only time the bench was going crazy, was when Shaq fouled out and Kobe took over. Also, I saw Kobe drawing 3 to 4 defenders and dumping it off to Shaq for an uncontested dunk. How the heck is that Shaq carrying Kobe?

  • Kobe was so young in 2000, announcers didn't want to hand him a greatness label. Even though that's exactly what was happening. Kobe was beyond his years his whole life.

  • His numbers weren't great in this series because he was dealing with a major ankle injury from game 2 onwards. That's what made his performance in game 4 that much more special. Had he not been injured he'd have the same numbers he had in 01 or 02 finals.

    • Shaq: I couldn't do it without Kobe. I agree had Kobe not gotten Zaza by Jalen Rose, he would average like 20 sum points per game. Also, Kobe was shutting down Reggie Miller when he was healthy. Coming into Game 4, he was rusty and he didn't have any sleep which amazes me how he even played the game.
