I am so glad to see you ladies made it through the cold weather. I love watching y'all shear. I'm also going to continue to ask y'all to grab a handful raw wool each sheep y'all shear there has to be a small little amount y'all can grab and I will pay for the postage to have it sent to me, please. If y'all grab a handful from every job, even a half a handful, by the end of the season you could have me quite a bit. I'm pretty sure I told you that I use that in my black powder rifle. The lanolin in the wool helps to lubricate and keep the fowling down, sorry that's how my phone spelled it. Thank you for the video and again I'm glad y'all made it through the winter great. Y'all think about it now. Thanks

I like when u get to take ur time bcuz the clip comes out much tighter... I would love to get into shearing here in the Northern VA area. I've been a dog groomer/vet tech for 30+ yrs & I also body clip horses so sheep, alpaca & llamas are, if anything, a lot less critter to clip 😂

@KEMIRANDA173 Жыл бұрын
Great question! It’s a bit of both. As sheep and humans evolved together, they were selected for being docile while shearing. However, if the sheep is uncomfortable or in pain, it’ll fight. So while some breeds are pretty docile based off of selection (not every breed) we still have to work to keep them happy enough in our arms. 🤘🏻
