    • At least you were self-aware enough to realize it's something you do sometimes and thus can stop if the other person seems annoyed now. Don't feel too bad, especially since like a lot of the things the Kens were doing, it was done out of naivete rather than malice. So you're only really being an asshole about it if someone asks you to stop it and then you don't.

  • Sasha and her friends were designed after the Bratz dolls, AKA Barbie's biggest competitors. One friend is apparently even named Jade, and Sasha is Nicknamed Bunny Boo, which was the Nickname of her doll counterpart.

    • When they came out, Bratz were eating Barbies lunch, and Mattel didn't know what to do. So they sued them. Mattel claimed that the since the Bratz creators worked for them previously, that Bratz belonged to Mattel. Seems like there was a decade of lawsuits, but the Bratz guys won.

    • Saw _Air_ this year, where they said Nike's competitor got free ads, by someone writing a rap song about Adidas. (Technically, it was released in 1986, not 1984 when the film was set, but it works.) Meanwhile, they write that popular song about Barbie, and Mattel sues!

    • It was an awesome movie, but it seems a lot of people missed the point that Scott was a terrible person and it was about him learning not to be terrible. His relationship with Knives was a horribly unhealthy coping mechanism, and the original movie ending where they ended up together would have undermined the message far more. The comic make sit a bit clearer that he and Ramona are both pretty crappy people but actually fit together a lot better.

If you saw them mocking toxic, sexist behavior and thought they were mocking all men, then you are equating toxicity with maleness, which sounds like a personal problem. By the way, women often *are* victims in the real world. Not because man = sexist and toxic, but because sexism and toxicity exist. There's an important distinction between those two concepts.
