  • 3:40 I think I watched the movie once, but I couldn't watch it, so I didn't remember most of it. But that cafe scene just shows how little moviemaking experience Tommy has. The people in line go take their seats, and pull out noisy chairs right over dialogue. So they clearly had one mic for the room (pun intended) rather than one for foreground dialogue, and one for ambience, and, stick with me here, "sound mixing". I know, crazy, right?

  • At least these movies are ACTUALLY really bad and not something nerds decided was bad because some random movie influencer decided it was bad. I've seen that happen a LOT. I think it's changed a bit over the past few years but I'd walk out of movies with friends loving it, like in the 2000's, only for them to tell me they hated it a couple weeks later. And it's like, yeah, they didn't come to that decision themselves. It's sad when people do that.
