I've never seen any commercially produced pull out kitchen that looks better than this, whyyyy? This is great.
The minute he extended the first drawer to reveal the hidden sink and stove, I smashed that Like button quicker than a Guitar Hero pro. LOL
BigBoss now that made me laugh! Glad you like my drawer. I made a little website PullKitchen if interested
same!
COOL
Set~up is amazing.......I think I would still use adjustable support legs.....
Someone who can dream up something like this, then make it happen..... respect, nothing but respect. Awesome 👍👍👍👍
Darren Wilcox Thanks! Definitely born out of frustration, and HATING bins. Now we make them for sale
Brilliant design and engineering. Thank you both for sharing with us.
Yes! The 80/20 T-Slot aluminum extrusions and fittings are the DIY guy’s best friend! Marco and Brad were early examples. This takes it to the next level. Thanks for sharing!
Team OROZŪK where can I get this
Dave is a GENIUS! There's few overland DIY projects that I enjoy/respect.....but this design rocks.
Glad you like it! It’s changed camping for us!
normally I am the kind of guy telling people that there is no such thing as "perfect" setup...well, looks like I was wrong. great job!
just down the road haha that made me smile thanks! I’m hoping other people might think so as well
I am amazed at how he set up his display. Great
This looks like something out of an overland version of the Container Store. 🙌🏼 Nice job!
Cool, that is very neat. I am building a ute camper at the moment & I had something similar in mind. You have just expanded those ideas. Thanks for showing.
That is just next level. wow.
Thanks! It’s now the coffee cart in our PullKitchen shop in Milpitas California :-)
I cant even think of coming up with something like this! Amazing!!
Would be great to see you do a full rig camp set up video. Looks like Dave has a great setup.
I needed this for a three-week road trip seven years ago. This is also great for those trips where you pull into camp late in the day. Definitely a mom-friendly build.
Hey Brenda! Yes it is great for long trips and has already been mother approved! Haha. Glad you like it!
Unbelievably AWESOME!!!!!! WOW!!!! I would love to build this. The Aluminum rail system is very smart way to build it. Gives you lots of choices.
This is amazing. I am taking out the seats of a mini van and installing 2 sets underneath a full length bed. I was going to use wood on both of them, however, I am loving this instead. Thanks for the ideas
What GREAT ideas guys. Now I have to get busy planning! Thanks.
3:35 save yourself some time.
I don't know why, but within the first 8 seconds of this video, I wondered if there was a "skip" comment. Thank you for your service.
Appreciate it. Hate the chit chat. Just get to it.
Thank you bro.
@@ENHall76 seems like you found it
I so love ppl like u save me some time
Holy crap! One hell of a job on that setup, very nicely done.
Love this! Very clean and looks durable. Love the color too! Great job.
Brilliant. There's at least three or four ideas here that are completely new to me.
WillN2Go1 you should see our new red kitchen
Lots of amazing DIY craftsman out there.
Amazing! Great job Dave-
Absolutely amazing.
Well done Dave, that is so nice. Cheers.
I would include a drop leg adjustable aluminium pole at the end to stop it bouncing but it’s perfect otherwise.
how does one design this and not automatically include a drop leg
like make LTD .)
There is no need. That is y he is using 500 pounds slides. Those 500 pound slides are not cheap
I know it's counter-intuitive, but this would likely damage the sliders by torquing them upward. Imagine if someone heavy got in the rooftop tent while the pole was out? The car's suspension would compress, but the pole wouldn't, and the sliders would be bearing the load. Better to just deal with a little wiggle and stay safe.
I was thinking the same thing. I'd be a little paranoid about the bounce, and guaranteed I'd be leaning on the end of that thing having a beer with a buddy. But it's a great concept.
This is incredible. With all my heart I wish I was that gifted to do something like this... great job guys. It’s funny to, just this morning I watched the video you did a year ago with Dave and his wood drawer.
I am posting this a couple times, but if anyone might be interested I’m looking into producing some kitchen drawers, I put up a simple website to see if there’s interest. www.PullKitchen.com
The coffe table lift ups ...genius...space saving ...it is a tetras players dream ...awesome lights to ...draws and under ...amazing ...dont think i ve ever seen anything so well thought out and compact ...i want it .
Richard Ingle glad you liked it! Pretty proud of it. I made a website PullKitchen :)
@@daviddouglass208 thank you for letting me know about the website , i will definitely check it out 👍.
Coolest drawer system I’ve seen yet!
Great set up, never thought to use extruded aluminium for my next drawer system. Definitely will head this way.
Shout out to Dave That is some crafty design and major inspiration
So awesome great idea I love how you mention 20 litres And remember you can get any lady in an 80e
This is awesome in a very creative and epic way. I'm thinking shorter version for the back of my 80 series. Thanks for another awesome video
Best kitchen pull out I’ve ever seen
Saw the first installment of this set up ... great finish !
Awesome.... Awesome.... Awesome... I am speechless 👍👍👍
Thanks some nice work Dave! Great job!
the chemistry between these guys lol, love the interview! awesome setup!
You need to patent this and put this into production.
Joseph Melcher well we are! www pullkitchen com, it’s even better now :)
absolutely amazing!....that guy's a friggin' camping genius! 😊👍
Very cool. I love 80/20, pricey but awesome. Safe Travels an God Bless!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, thanks KZhead man and friend 💞
Excellent!!!! Brilliant!!!! Love it.
Great video!!!!! That setup is incredible
I wish this fabulous invention could be commercially available.
USA4US Well it is! I started Pull Kitchen with another Overland Bound member and you can follow along on Instagram @pullkitchen
Awesome drawer project.
Rivals goose gear in fit and finish. Well done.
Delbert Humperdink thanks!
Really cool outdoor kitchen. Well done!
This is beautiful.
Well he took it apart about 10/15 times so. I'm not there yet, but it helps to know its all a big learning curve. Enjoyed the vid, thx 👍
I’ve been considering a teardrop trailer build, but the kitchen solutions I’ve seen fell short. This one hits the bulls eye. Thank you!!
Glad you liked it
Brilliant video, informative and funny...top work!!!
Amazing setup and great job !!!
Wow excellence engineering and wow thanks for sharing ! I love it !
absolutely brilliant.
OMG!! This setup is frigging AWESOME!!!! Well Done!!!!
great job brother. been looking at outdoor kitchen ideas and this is legit.
Thanks! We started a business now and have shipped them all over the US. On Instagram @pullkitchen
I have used tap plastics alot and always deliver a great product
Insanely cool!
i actually built similar drawers and put telescopic poles at the end for some extra stability. my drawers aren't as tall though. It houses a sink, space for my coleman stove and a ice chest fridge on the right side. Left side drawer holds all my equipment, tools, dishes, etc. The right side drawer is fully contained so there's no hoses sticking out of the bottom. i have side drawer fronts that have magnets on them so they just pop off and on easy and i keep my freshwater, gray water and propane tank under each of the 3 side compartments. i used wood for mine and it's a bit crude compared to this build but it does the job :)
Nice drawer system 👍
Great design
One of the best DIY camp kitchens, i have ever seen. Probably one of the most expensive also, I would imagine.
Brdaley E no it was not cheap, but I also couldn’t find what I wanted, which was kitchen storage, pantry storage, running water, burners, cutting board, lights, and easily removable in a couple minutes. My co-founder and I started making Pull Kitchen’s now and added self-contained water and power to the list of features. We are on instagram @pullkitchen and PullKitchen.com
Yep. You can get one for the low low price of $4,000.
Very nice craftsmanship!
That is really really amazing!
Awesome Build!
Absolutely amazing! The only think I would add is some kind of folding support at the end for even better stability...
That would be amazing.
That is a proper kitchen set up, very smart 👌🏻
i can't say enough how useful this item is
Agreed, just got back from Death Valley and whipping out the kitchen in seconds is huge after 4 nights and hundreds of miles.
Nice work Dave
I NEED this!!! That is the most practical setup I have seen.
We are producing them now, Pull Kitchen
As much as I love my little butane burner when I go backpacking in the wilderness, this pull out kitchen is the ultimate for car camping. I love the little sink and how neatly it packs everything. Well done!
Caroline Carriere There’s nothing wrong with compact and light, and there’s nothing wrong with bringing it all along either :) The response at instagram.com/PullKitchen has been humbling!
just wow.....awesome !
That is so cool.Good job.
Thank you:)
That's quite the setup, I'm just glad that I can even get all of my camping gear in my Corolla at all!
Jeroen van Achterberg Outdoor now that’s a tight space! I don’t have a solution for that yet 😉
HDPE is available in 3x5 sheets at Menards. It can be cut to size with a regular jigsaw, drilled with regular bits, and routed with regular router bits. It comes in several colors and many different thicknesses.
One of the best DIY drawers/kitchen on a rig I've seen. I'd pay for one if it'll fit my 80 Series Landcruiser.
We had a customer put one in his LC, it’s on our Instagram. @pullkitchen
Wow, amazing job!
wow, that is so good. nice work mate!
Great googa mooga, mate! Talk about beautiful. Form AND function. Dave gives us new to dreaming of DIY projects in our rigs amazing inspiration and hope.
Rich G haha that made me laugh! Thanks
@@daviddouglass208 For sure! Heading over to the thread to read more about the project. Have fun adventurin'!
This is so much better then anything I could find to purchase. Nice job.
Jeffrey Clement thanks! I have a website now www PullKitchen com if interested
Nice one guys. One awesome set up. 👍😎
Stunning!
One of the best I have seen....
really awesome build
red angry duck thanks! Still working on making it better with my latest edition :)
I’ve seen both the drawers in person and in action and they are amazing! Dave is set up and enjoying an ice cream bar before I can even get my tent out of the tote I stuck it in! The his whole setup with RTT goes up ridiculously fast and is awesome to see in person. I’d love to get this kitchen together one day!
ToeKnee thanks bud! Glad we have become friends through Overland Bound!
Awesome setup!
Wow,thank you for sharing this is a great idea for my sailboat.
Rafael Maldonado jr We’ve done trucks, vans, and trailers. A boat would be a first!
Wow, love it
Jesus christ... I've had ideas but man, this is awesome...
Agreed...ideas are easy. This guy acted on those ideas like a boss!
Billie Prescott haha thanks guys. I took it one step further and started a company called Pull Kitchen, refined this design a lot
why bring the Lord's name into your compliment of this build?.
Yvonne Futrelle off mhmm.
David Douglass mr
Bravo, bravo, bravo! Thanks for sharing your creativity.
kwesty1 thanks! We are building them now, check out @pullkitchen on Instagram
This is SO BADASS! I loved your first iteration.. this is next level
Zachary Schlecht thanks! Working on more versions now for more vehicles at www PullKitchen com
This setup is awesome
Wow, nicely done
Great design! I am a new member of the Overland Bound team and plan to look for your plans on the forum. Thank you for sharing your work with us!
Paul Jordan glad to hear that! Yeah check out the DIY forum and under Tacoma Drawer 2.0 on overlandbound com. I also put up a feeler website PullKitchen com as well. Thanks!
Awesome work
Dave builds stuff, as we all should.......
gwaviator thanks! But not everyone likes to build and I get it
Mate, next level -top job
This is amazing. I know it's overkill, and purists will say you just need a sleeping bag and a kettle, but I agree - once you're building something yourself, why stop until you have exactly what you want? This is probably the best-equipped and nicest-looking kitchen drawer I have ever seen. Great job.
Thank you! It’s grown since this video, our company took PullKitchen to SEMA 2021 in Vegas and displayed it at the Ford booth. It was surreal
Awesome
That thing is a beauty.
