I just wish you would show the prices for everything you do, including labour and fitment prices, even if your getting them for nothing, let us know what we should expect to pay
Kitchen is $2250 US, just ordered yesterday lol
The wood shelves sets the kitchen off...Excellent boys
wow 50kg for the swiss army knife kitchen, some fridge slides are 45kg
My god I would love to see that mechanism!
You guys are crushing it, keep up the good work.
Men this has been a great success, a lot of through an organisation involved in the development process, bloody well done in the building of the prado.
Kitchen design and functionality is next level. Gotta love Aussie ingenuity. We have some of the best items in the World for our outdoor lifestyle. I think these would sell like hotcakes in the U.S.
Wow that is an awesome camp kitchen!
"And on that note we will table this conversation" That was an easy one man lol
Thanks for the handy water tips
Beautiful setup. +1 on the amber light in the rear.
Very good tips with chabging out the water in the tank. I've had clear hoses to a pump and the end where I dip it into my jerry car actually grew mold. So regular flushing is important. Cheers.
Wonderful video as usual! I’ve got a free standing kitchen that you slide out as a drawer and that put it on its legs. I was a bit envy of those slide out kitchets until I parked on a lake beach and was really off-camber, it would be impossible to cook (there were no flat spots what so ever if you wanted to be close to water). The free standing kitchen has got each leg adjustable independently so I had to problem making it nice and flat.
Awesome video as usual. One piece of constructive (I hope) feedback. Been finding the lighting / exposure a bit low in some of these night videos. Looks good but I want to see all the details.
That was a fatastic video. Thanks for outting it together and sharing your craft!
Sorry just watched the earlier episodes and question answered \; wonderful build and will be implementing many of your mods to my vehicle 😀
Pretty cool setup
Nice vid. Where can I buy that amber light youve got mounted on the rear door?
THANK YOU FOR DETAIL VIDEO
I'm starting to like this setup more than Harry's shopping cart.
You answered my thoughts you do have a soft spot for a Prado
Would be a perfect first 4wd for either a wife or daughter.
Great build guys. Could you please tell me where the touch sensitive light mounted on Prado barn door came from?
Wow... the way things are heading there's going to be a 270 degree kitchen table available soon.
dream offroad kitchen
Nice kitchen Harry would be spewing that he didn’t get one better kitchen thanks good vid
Nice kitchen setup, but maby the door is in the way. Cheers. 🍻 Happy holidays. 🎁🎉🎊🎄
50kg is light as! The 4WD Supa Centre Titan drawers are like 71kg for the Prado
I’d like this in my tub setup build!
Impressive setup. But I chuckled when he said “The build is pretty much done”. LMAO! It’s never “done” when it comes to camping/overlanding/touring/off-roading vehicles 🤣 I bet he’ll be adding and replacing stuff for years to come.
Awesome
What does the back door look like after frying? All the greasy smoke? Probably time to put a pull out range hood on top of the fridge.
Nice setup, but a little cramped with the Prado swing door. Also makes the fold down table on the door kind of useless. Don't get me wrong, if I had something that nice I would make the best of it. Dan Grec showed something quite simple but functional on his Jeep. Of course he is sponsored by the manufacturer it seems but also a nice setup.
I was thinking the same thing, the swing door table makes those little pull out ones redundant
I think the door table is for when you don't want or can't open the full kitchen drawer.
Bloody awesome compact kitchen in the boot of the Prado indeed & where can we download the blueprint for the Swiss Army Knife kitchen !!!
The thongin at the start was brilliantly funny 😂😂 What an interesting idea with the kitchen set up, and it's so good seeing different companies like quick pitch rethinking the kitchen design where it is slightly different to what's out there in the modification world. Another great video Ronny mate, and Chris your Prado is really looking the goods so great work mate 👍👍
Funny for a yuppie
@@ozzieadventures6261 I found it funny due to houso's Pauly when he says I'll give ya a thongin.
@@chrishanslow4825 I'm not feeling it m8 lol
@@ozzieadventures6261 okay okay your a hard sell, give me a bit to think of something............
Needs a cost comparison with the Hilux build as well as a Ute with a tray.
Nice! I also want to know what that rear light is please!
I would have liked to see a work surface next to the stove, I like to prepare and cook at the same time in my setup , seems like you need to walk around or lean over to get access to what you are cooking
Magic!! What else need I say??😊
I believe I heard Ronny say "I want a Prado"...
I'm not sold on the location of that water spout. I definitely would have put a pump with a tap somewhere else in the kitchen. (Could leave a emergency backup underneath) but I think it's exposed to too much dirt and mud where it's at.
how do you make the Prado level? with a kitchen coming that far out, sloping ground will greatly affect its working height and effort to open and close.
Hi guys. What rocksliders/sidesteps do you use?? Love the build!
Interested in the back light also. I think you mentioned that the light in the awning was a national luna? The looked very similar. Are they waterproof and do they only come in yellow/white (comparing against the pdp lights). Thanks!
Why is there so much negativity from people who probably have never posted a KZhead video in their life?? Keep up the fine work Ronny for those who really appreciate what you do!! So many great ideas to be seen from these videos and comments.🙂
Hey Chris and Ronny what are the mounts you used for the awning? I have a roof top tent that you can’t mount an awning directly to so it gets in the way of opening the side window. Would love a solution. Cheers
The quickpitch kitchen seems to be an updated to the quickpitch mini kitchen on their site. Is this a new model that they're bringing out? Love the extra storage and as others said, the wood tops a very a nice touch! Great video guys.
I don't think this is their new model, I would say this model has just been re-think (rethought or remodeled) by Roni and Chris to suit their taste. I am pretty sure if you went to Quick-Pitch with an idea they could possibly help with anything.
One of the reasons I've never been sold on draw systems is I find the storage solution (draws) takes up more volume and weight than what is stored. I think Drifta having no 'runners' has gone someway in solving that. I'd love to see one made with sheet aluminium and Teflon slides.
At 50kgs it's lighter than I thought.
Interesting concept, very functional. Personally I’d prefer the stove to pull out to the side with the lower table coming out from under the stove, so it’s not so cramped between the door. Top table wouldn’t need to lift up, could just be lift off for cleaning
Sick
Looks great but I see the back door becoming a grease pit from the stove use.
Re: drinking water. I travel with missus and a toddler, 37 liter tank lasted us 3 days. I’ll be increasing it to about 76 liters as I want to be able for us to go off-grid for 7 days. That’s only drinking water, I’ve got a 60 liter bag (!) for non-drining water, we spent may be third of it overy the course of 7 days.
That's next level but Crikey that would cost my first born if made by Quick pitch. Thanks for sharing
Tax deduction 🤷🏼♂️
Looking good brother hope to see more of this vehicle in future also Ronnie what awning is on the Hilux and where can I get a door arm rest many thanks?
Thank you very much for information, i just want to know about your kitchen gaz, where is the gaz thank?
What are those hinge brackets for the lift over tabletop? I can only find lift over brackets that go to a 90 degree instead of the 180
One thing the Prado falls short is the rear door. And it's the same problem Harry has too. It only opens to 90 degress and you can't use the drop down table attached to the rear door. A mod to change it so it opens more to maybe 145 degrees untill Toyota rectifies it.
That is a fine shopping trolley !!
Are the lambs wool seat covers compatible with the heated/cooled seats? Do they work as well with the covers on?
Where can I take my patrol to get that rear draw/fridgeslide/tables installed
Anyone know or Ronny may I ask what cooking trays are being used on the Primus?
What is the price for the kitchen?
I'm guessing it's a little pricey.....
I know this is a lot to ask, but is the same setup theoretically possible with the Fortuner ( after removal of the 3rd row seats)?
Definitely needs a shopping trolley patch. Are you going to get a personalized number plate to officially match the crew?
What kind of the light do you use in the rear?
would love to know how much it cost do do the whole cargo and kitchen. and contact details to get that same rig done.
The mechanix are infinitely better improvement over prior art in pullout/drop down kit. Albeit, too small. Constructively, changing from hob to flat plate grill will up thebcooking surface and adding a bottle hob for boiling off to the side is one way to fix the stove bottleneck. Horiz. ARB frig. is a cool mechanical but too high cost to footprint. Go vertical!
would love to know where your sitting on weight of vehicle....we struggle with weight with 2 adults and 2 young kids and all camping gear etc....its amazing how all those extras add up...great series, go the shopping trolley !!
A prados too small for a family if the kids are over the age of 10 in my opinion.
How much weight on the roof?
Where is that light from on the rear door?
Loving the build videos - kitchen setup looks phenomenal. How is the stability of it when all fully extended? Seems a lot of weight cantilevered out. Cheers!
Shouldn't be too bad, fridge is the heavy thing and its at the other end
Hey Guys, I saw an ARB compressor go in in the rear quarter WITH a sub woofer on Ronny's Instagram. How did you achieve this? Was it a custom bracket? Cheers
What coffee machine was that? Like the size
Is this kitchen unit already on the market? Can only seem to find the mini kitchen by Quick Pitch.
Can you talk about the skin body protection? Link? 4Runner?
Nice set up mate. Could you post a link to both the awning amber lights and the rear door top light too? TIA.
quickpitch.com.au
Hey Guys, im a bout to hit the road from NT in my prado...has all the main add ons, but I want to pull out the seats at build single bed and basic camper set up in it....any pointers for unbolting seats?
Hey Ronny, grettings from Europe. Very nice project but a little to much for me and where i live. I can not understand what suspension u use for it and also wheels and tyres. I will apreciate if u can get the links for those. Thank u and keep up with these awesome videos.
Was that 50kg weight including the fridge drop AND kitchen?
Hi guys, Did you replace the rear seats, 6 & 7 in the Prado prior to installing the kitchen and drawers? Cheers
That water tap’s going to get smashed off for sure Great looking kitchen, how do yo go with cooking smell through the car 👍
make sure its something you like to smell 😋
Hey bud where can I get that kitchen setup from? Cheers ✌🏽
Where do you get the kitchen from?
Where do we get a kitchen like that?? I’m in Perth
After seeing this build and our mate Harry's I'm really starting to like what can be done and options of after market products for the wagons.

What is the name of the stove again?
Like i said to Dan.... no sink no party
My 3rd row seats when I took them out were 51.5kg, so the 50kg kitchen basically replaced them which is not bad. I find with all my bar work, sliders, roof rack etc I only have about 300kg of usable extra weight which includes people, water, gear etc, so not much room for extras, you must be bumping up against that GVM when loaded up I would think unless you have an upgrade. Could I ask what the camera gimbal is you use when filming at the rear of the Prado? I need to get rid of the jitters when filming, cheers!
It’s the roninS which is smooth as silk.
@@Ronny_Dahl great, thanks!
Where can you order the kitchen? Thanks!
Total glamping set up, like watching a big sponser add. Each to your own but you dont need these flashy set ups. I like it simple and the less weight the better!
Dude, it depends what sort of travelling you do. If you travel full time or are on the road as much as these guys, stuff like this really makes a difference. I lived full time on the road for best part of a decade & had people comment to me at camps about not needing this or that. Fine to dig around in boxes and balance snag sandwiches in your knee if your doing it 3-4 weekends a year but not for these guys 👍
Sweet what's the price mate its so cool
Does the UHF antenna at the rear affect the communications range out to the front?
A little bit but not much as it seems to cast down the side a bit too
Ronny Dahl I know there is a mini as well, do you happen to have the dimensions on this one? I'm thinking of this for the Jeep Wrangler JKU 2015... Thanks
I’d contact Quickpitch mate they got all the specs on which vehicles they will fit
@@Ronny_Dahl No worries, thanks and have a great Christmas !!
How much cost for the body protector
the 79 series 4 wheeling Australian is now red
How does the water tank get filled? Merry Christmas blokes
Hook a hose to the outlet tap and blast away. It will leak water from the breather when full. So many tanks on the market operate in this manner. Common as 👍
Hey guys will that kitchen be available from quick pitch to buy awesome rig and set up
Yep they are walking out the door last I heard
@@Ronny_Dahl thanks Ronny
Can you add a long rang fuel tank on them? Or is the standard tank large enough. I'm looking to buy one. Set it up as a tourer plus towing a four man camper trailer. Also keeps the missus happy with shopping space and kid space for day to day use.
Prado with spare on back door comes with 150L twin tank system, no other 4WD has as much fuel capacity
@@Corey-pd3mi I thought they had 2 x 90 litre tanks...
@@lesblack413 90 and 60
What is the total cost for the build?
Can this kitchen be bought?
Anyone know how big of a stove or fridge can fit in there?
