Can triangular body armor deflect any bullet? • Will Triangular Body A...
In our eternal quest to discover what can be shot from a rocket launcher, we managed to get our grubby little mits on a brand new REVL Arc action camera. This dopey fresh piece of hardware uses a built-in motor to stabilize the image by correcting for rotation... and as luck so has it, that’s the exact kind of correction we need.
As we pranced away from REVL’s office we exalted our sheer dumb luck and disingenuous ability to convince people we won’t destroy their property. And in celebration we built our own prop rocket launcher to make sure this camera would be sacrificed to the ancient gods of Combustion and Acceleration.
Come join us and share the first-person perspective of being a cannon ball thrust upwards into the brilliant sunlight before crashing back down into oblivion in a brief but glorious journey that must somehow be a metaphor for life itself... wow I gotta stop staying up so late to write this.

Use KZhead viewer discount code "iwantfatpp" for 15% off your order! Can triangular body armor deflect any bullet? kzhead.info/sun/d9hve7B8h559dJ8/bejne.html Hey y’all thanks for watching! We’re excited to finally have this buttery smooth footage of a projectile being launched from a cannon... even if it turned our projectile into butter.

    • See if you can build a projectile that is able to release a parachute. If successful it could be used to take great footage at altitude, without breaking the camera.

  • Try and shoot a two stage projectile. Similar to an rpg. The initial blast could set the angle, while the secondary ignition carries it. Then have a third section with a parachute to secure whatever camera you place in the projectile. Might have to rig up some time delay to deploy the second and third stages. Or maybe a remote activation. Too much work? I have faith in you guys.

  • If you resin fill your 3d prints they will be really strong and then put a crushable sandwich into the extension you will be able to save a few cameras. Also if your fins were a bit bigger a it would be a bit more stable in flight. Then only use three fins to reduce drag.

  • I think it would be cool to make a crude rocket launcher that fires the rocket a couple meters before its own motor takes over and carries it the rest of the distance. e.g. chuck use a hobby rocket motor with a fuse in an existing projectile light the fuse, fire and hope it does its thing. I think that could be really awesome : )

  • Here are 2 Ideas. Idea 1 Design a projectile that fits inside the launcher. when the projectile is launched and reaches its maximum height, it unfolds into a weighted parachute. the goal is to get the chute up as high as the launcher will go... unfold, inflate fully and by help of a small weight (Perhaps a go pro or button battery powered altimeter) that can add mass to the projectile for launching. Idea 2 (Increased difficulty) Design a break-away capsule - that when launched... - breaks opens at peek height - a large rubber balloon is inflated with a small helium canister - once inflated - the balloon is tracked with a GPS button powered tag to where it lands (the balloon will pop) and the peek altitude can be recorded. Extra points if you attach a go pro to record flight
