Drinking Camel's Milk - A Way Of Life In The Gobi! Nomad Life | Views

2018 ж. 29 Нау.

The people of the Gobi Desert of southern Mongolia have been raising their Bactrian camel for thousands of years. They use camel milk as daily food and boil with water as milk tea. Also, they ferment camel milk to make kumis. The kumis is a kind of beverage to restore energy because of its rich vitamins. Thanks to Sanjmyatav and Oktyabr's family!

In fact the Mongolians were the only ones who were brutally honest about their methods whereas every other developed nation was only pretending to be humane all the while doing everything that a corrupt society would do.

At least in the ones I’ve stayed at. More rural areas in Mongolia usually don’t have running water either so it’s a hassle pouring buckets of bought water or rain water everytime. Bathing more than twice a week is a bit unheard of. It’s not all that bad and ppl that have grown up in that environment r very much happy. But to folks that grew up in a more modern suburban or urban environment it is most def uncomfortable

  • I admire the Mongolian way of life. Clean country, simple people living and experiencing actual reality of life. No wonder Mongolians are so healthy and sound. . . . I wanted to highlight something important. In many videos I saw usage of plastic bags for grocery shopping. Mongolia is a clean living with nature country and plastic is a cancer. Once people get comfortable using it. There is no stopping. Ban plastic in Mongolia. You are a popular figure in your country. Think about it. Thanks. As Mongolia is a desert not suitable for agriculture, tourism could be the future for Mongolia as it's a beautiful country with lot of history to offer. Don't let plastic bags ruin it as it has done to my country.

Some supermarkets are initiating “bring your bags” motto and provide “eco-friendly bags” at the cashier, but people are not paying attention to how we destroy the nature with all these garbages and plastics….Mongolia once was the country of the bluest sky and sun shining, but today people do not respect, don’t love the nature as we once did….I hate it because my parents taught me how important it is to preserve the nature-human cycle and keep it pure….I keep wondering “WHEN” my country would wake up from this sh”” plastics delusions!!!

    • We mongols didnt sent out to conquer the world. Others have provoked such action. Mongols would send trade caravans to neighboring empires to build peace and trade. Instead they killed the merchants and took their trade as loot. Still mongols didnt retaliate right away. They sent another messenger to make sure it wasnt a mistake and demand whoever responsible for it to be handed over. They didnt. They killed the khans messenger again and took their loot. I will tell you this. A mongolian man or woman will give you 2 chances to come correct. If not there will be no 3rd time. We are peace loving folks who prefer simple life. We rather not quarrel with you but if we must we will. I remember in high school( i live in the states) this one latino boy kept calling me chino. I let it slide the first few times. One day we were in cafeteria and he kept calling me chino so i snapped. I got up walked over to him( he was sitting down) and grabbed his throat and slammed him backwards. He fell over the stool. After that him and his little posse didnt start shit again.
