Royal Commentator and Biographer Angela Levin says there “were over 30 lies” in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
That interview caused me to lose every bit of respect I'd ever had for Oprah.
The only thing missing was a set of pearls to clutch as she muttered "What???" to their ridiculous accusation.
Not that I ever had any!

To find freedom, fully and completely, stand away from the titles. The biggest step towards freedom and representing all they claim to be and stand for is to eschew the titles. Abdicating the titles would give credence to Meghan and Harry stated commitment, "We can all live a life of service. Service is universal." The titles are superfluous with Meghan and Harry having relinquished, not stripped of, the patronages and appointments bestowed by the late Queen Elizabeth with titles in anticipation of service to the crown. Meghan and Harry are now part of American culture and private citizens.

My son is white, his wife is black, a proper black woman, unlike MeGain who could pass for Italian or Greek. They have just had their second child, a week ago. We a talked about what his skin would be like etc including his mum. No racism, just excitement and curiosity
Which is exactly where this apparent racist comment came from! If it was ever said at all; it would have been purely curiosity, not racism! If the RF really had a problem with Megamouth’s race, I guess then they wouldn’t have coughed up all the $$$ for the wedding. Meghan intentionally tried to tie a benign statement about what future children would look like to the fact that her children did not have Prince/Princess titles at birth.

T&L W it was well known that Harry's children would not have royal titles at birth in fact it was set out in Letters Patent 1917, the children would have been entitled to royal titles when there grandfather became our King but the media don't mention Letters Patent 1960 the Mountbatten-Windsor surname is for those who don't have royal titles

The couple have chosen their weaponry: Meghan appropriating race, thus finding her métier, that race is bulletproof and inexhaustible, sadly making an often-explosive topic even more divisive and ever present, ready to surface; Harry's métier is the shield of mental health with a raft of excuses exonerating his venomous strikes at his family and best of all, it sells! Harry has successfully monetized his past, or according to Harry, his painful past, growing up in the cinders of a cold fireplace somewhere in a palace. Isn't spare irrelevant now with the Cambridge family? Before we know it Prince George will be 18, Harry will be completely bald, and Meghan will be struggling with menopause and hormone juggling.

My husband and I are light skinned, but his mother is dark, and so is my grandfather, so we both had conversations about what skin tone our son would have. I don't see that as racist. 🤷♀️ we were just speculating.

It is NOT racist, it's just human curiosity. But SHE had to find/invent something to complain about, how else could she cry out "the royals are racists"? And, by extension, ALL British, especially the media (which welcomed her as everybody did in the beginning) are racists. I still cannot comprehend how she explains her amazing journey with the Royal Family before, at and after the wedding.... yeah, they all were soooo racist, King Charles walked with her in the abbey, Doria was very well taken care of and treated like a royal, they paid millions for her wedding, dresses/accessories, the celebrations, dinners, etc, etc.... WHY would they do all that when they could have simply and easily said "Harry, we do not agree with this wedding, you're on your own from now on"? Could it be that EVERYBODY accepted her and wanted their son/grandson to be happy? Could it be that they saw her as a breeze of fresh air and welcomed it?

Our family is all mixed and we all speculate on it too. Three of us, including myself, are light skinned 3 of us are dark skinned.

But Meghan specifically said “the colour of Archie’s skin”. And you can’t rewatch the Oprah interview; it’s been completely eradicated from the internet!
Exactly, megaliar said it was when she was pregnant, Harry strolls into the interview an hour later, OW asks about the remark, and he answered, ‘oh yes, something was mentioned about skin colour when we first started dating’ OW just sat there, megaliar grabbed Harry’s hand in the two hand grip and glared at him, he looked down at the floor, realising he was going to get it in the neck later for failing to remember his lines (lies) properly

I have a good friend who grew up in a very toxic/abusive home. She left that home, severed ties, moved to a different State and moved on with her life. She never speaks of her family, other than to tell me once that she could kill her father with her bare hands. Oh, and she changed her name to completely dissociate herself from them. That’s how you do it !
I've had to go no contact with my family- I also don't speak about it except very briefly to people who ask. The truth will become obvious eventually and moving on completely is best.

Fun fact, she has said a few times that she knows how "Native Americans feel", and has heritage on her dad's side. It was rather weird. Here is my thing....I'm OBVIOUSLY native american. Grew up on the rez and went to the rez school. BUT my father is a Welshman (though you can't tell) and every single we are in the UK I feel so welcomed and loved. People are so curious, pure strangers and so loving. My mom and dad got questions about my skin ALL the time while pregnant with me and my sister. No offense taken! My sister has blue eyes and very light skin while I am very dark. Genetics are weird. I am just horrified about this ruckus that Megan has caused in the world and am truly sorry.

Haley….what a wonderful soul you are. It’s so refreshing to see someone write about their colour and creed with pride. I’ve been lucky to travel the world while being in the British Army and also as a soldiers wife and our best posting was in Alberta. While there we travelled around Alberta.BC and into AMERICA and we met some very VERY nice human beings of all colours and creeds. I love my crafting and sewing so spent quite a few days every month with ladies from as you said “The Rez”….well various towns/Rez and LOVED IT….great crafts learned,great dancing and HOURS of conversations about both ours and their histories …. No one felt it was racist EVER but being able to ask questions without triple checking your brain before you spoke was fantastic. Come on world, stop being so touchy about things said in the context of friendship learning there is still NO ROOM for nastiness,sexism, racism etc.
I'm not British so I'm unbiased and I feel the same way about them not being the slightest bit judgemental, let alone r*cist. Meghan has been changing her ethnicity like a chameleon her whole life and only started calling herself black (even though she's biracial, not fully black) when she met Prince Harry and discovered the golden opportunity of becoming the ultimate victim of the archaic monarchy and British society. She's capitalizing on the stereotype of Brits that live on in a small segment of Americans' minds. That the British people are snobbish, they look down on you, feel superior with their posh accent, they only drink tea from teacups and not mugs because that's only done by peasants and of course they're infuriatingly and openly r*cist because of their colonial past. And even if you see them smiling and being kind, it's just an act because behind closed doors they're terrible people and even if they're nice to you in private as well, it can only be because you look white(er than Meghan)...

I'm very much European but I still contemplate whether I should do an in-depth genealogy test of some sort to see where my ancestors come from. It's understandable that our origins fascinate us and if we meet other people who seem to be "different" than us, we're curious and ask them. As long as it's done in a polite way, I think it's a great conversation starter as most people like to talk about themselves and we're all proud of our roots. However, I cannot support people like Meghan Markle who camouflage one side of their ancestry while they push the other and when the tide turns and they need the other half to be highlighted, they change the narrative. I saw her original acting CV where she claimed to have been Caucasian and she told her school friends that she had Italian origins, that's why she had olive skin tone. She literally hid her mother's race so she could blend in with her rich friends who she wanted to be like. Then she met the prince with the family that once had a huge empire with many African tribes and different races and she saw how convenient it could be for her to capitalize on that... I think it's offensive and disrespectful not owning up to her origins and even making a big scene when someone is genuinely curious and asks about her race.
THAT has been my question since their interview! I have had 4 children, and saw my ob every 4 weeks. I always had every opportunity to mention if I wasn't feeling well--mentally or physically! I would sooner have spoken to my doctor than my HR department! And even if I had, if I didn't like their answer, my next stop would have been my doctor! I wouldn't have just left it, if I felt I needed attention for my health and the health of my baby!

I've been saying this since the engagement interview! After the way she ended her relationship with Trevor, I knew she was trouble. Since she had been seeking fame her entire life, it was obvious she was full of crap when she attempted to act like Shy-Di, which proved she had been more than aware of the royal family. I'm American, younger than her by a few years but close enough in age to be able to call her claim of nativity complete bullshit. Growing up Prince William was in all the magazines because he was a heartthrob. Diana was so famous I remember hearing she died even though I didn't understand the significance, so her lies of being naive of them were clear. Why lie about small insignificant details unless you are covering up something much bigger, which she was.
She also lived and worked in Canada, and Queen Elizabeth was the first monarch to be crowned Queen of Canada. There are pictures of her and the family all over Canada It's like an American not knowing who the President is.

She even wrote in her blog about the Royal wedding between Kate and William. She had multiple photos taken of her holding celebrity magazines with the rf on the cover. Took a trip to London and had photos taken of her in front of Buckingham palace. She even read multiple novels about Princess Diana while growing up. And recently admitted to having a major crush on Prince William before he got married! She forgets about all the evidence that's floating around proving what an actual fraud she really is. And that's not even including the fact that she hired a PR firm to scrub the internet of all of the proof of her being a model and changing it into a humanitarian where she even took a trip to Africa knowing Prince Harry's love of Africa and got photos where she was standing identical to Diana in the same place wearing the same thing with the same expression on her face. If that's not enough she even wore Diana's favorite perfume on her very first date with Prince Harry. She was even looking for a rich husband in England while she was with the chef Cory vitallo and Smart guys ended up turning her down and so she weasled her way into Harry circles intentionally. I'm also not really believing the blind date bs, because she was at the Invictus games in Canada where is she more than likely actually ran into Prince Harry which got her the date. Everything she says is completely her b******* except the one time she admitted on camera to being a fraud I think that was the most honest thing she's ever said.

Harry will always be a prince. The duke and duchess titles can be withdrawn because they were gifts from the Queen - but only by an Act of Parliament. Same with Andrew. He'll always be a prince, but a bill has been put forward in parliament in the desire to remove the title of Duke of York. The people of York have been agitating for it.

In my family, we have German, Asian and East Asian heritages. I had a dark skinned brother-in-law who married my dark skinned sister, even if my brother and I have the lightest skin you can imagine. We often kid each other about what the children will look like. My sister has 2 offspring that look like her and two that could have been mine. We laugh about it all the time!

They need to revise their history comprehension. The late Queen Elizabeth II, visited Ghana. During her 1961 tour, the Queen famously danced with Ghana's president Kwame Nkrumah at a farewell ball in Accra, which many scholars believe was a symbolic moment in the history of the Commonwealth. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 superseded all state and local laws requiring segregation in the USA.. The Royal family are definitely not a racist family.

And he refuted Harry and Meghan's little story but the real evidence is the British marital law which clearly states that you need a government figure and two witnesses to be present at your wedding and you can only be married in a state-approved location like a government building or a church. The backyard of Frogmore Cottage is NOT approved to be a place for a wedding so that in itself proves the story to be a lie, not to mention the three people present, meaning that they didn't have witnesses. I think Meghan wasn't familiar with this law and so she thought that as you can get married on a beach or in a backyard in California/the US, you can do the same in the UK as well so she went on to lie about it without thinking it through.

I do not know why I am commenting, but if she was depressed it could have been because of all the hormonal changes a woman goes through when having a baby. Women also can go through depression after having a baby which I would think the doctors would be aware of as well. When I hear things about the royal family, I remember King Charles walking Megan down the isle. I remember feeling warm towards King Charles at that moment in time. It is not possible to erase that wedding. I even remember the horrible look Megan gave beautiful Princess Charlotte as she walked past Megan. Megan reminded me of a Disney witch that pretended to be kind and beautiful in an animated movie like The Little Mermaid. I was originally very pro Megan and Harry. I grew up hearing about the Royal family as did everyone. All of their drama being played out in the public eye makes me thankful I have a quiet and simple life.
