Can't you see he's in a tough spot where he can't outright call them racist, yet he understands that there's racial bias in the whole British Royal system, as one of the top colonizers in the world? He's stuck between a rock and a hard place. And yet he brings all of this up. I think that calls for an award, even if giving him the award is a bit ironic and biased.

Just glad the queen was gone before that ugly incident with that lady in waiting and the honours at the palace tbh. It would have been so much worse. He could have spoke out then, clarified when that happened, but didn't. He could have spoken immediatelt after the original interview bombshell, when EVERYONE -including Oprah herself as it was happening- took their remarks the exact same way.
