  • I can definitely see how I'd use this, I use my phone a mini gaming scream for games such as minecraft or whatever but charging and playing is sometimes a hassle. But with this charger I'd be able to both play the game and charge simultaneously while using my ear buds. I know know it's easier to get bluetooth headphones but I prefer wired because it's not as hard just going oop turn on both bluetooth AND my headphones or just go connect it and listen to music no worries.

  • Thanks for a wonderful review of the iPhones and the accessories! Very in-depth coverage indeed! I will hold on to my iPhone SE. I am rather skeptic about the magsafe function of the iPhone 12. Dropping or heating a magnet will cause it to lose its magnetism. If the user doesn’t drop the phone, that’s fine. Suppose if the user does drop the phone often, will Apple cover the cost of repair in their warranty? What if the phone gets heated over some processes? Sometimes our phones get slightly warm when certain apps or functions are used right? Making video calls will cause phones to get warm. So, won’t the magnetic strength of the Magsafe be affected? Again, will Apple cover this aspect of “wear and tear” under the warranty? If the magnetic strength is gone from the phone, I am sure that the other accessories will end up on the landfill...:) so much for saving the environment!

You have to be super lazy to have a problem with snapping it off and its better than tugging on the cord to remove it from the port, possibly damaging the cord and in some situations damaging the port. For the ones saying how is it wireless, well, it snaps off very easily...Good luck tugging on your cord every time you finish charging and still expect the cord to last long. It keeps the charger and the port safe.... Plus I believe this is the beginning of Apple's transition it port less phones.... You are going to need this in the future if you don't have the option to plug in a charger.

However, as more and more review video have came out on KZhead, I can help to think of the awkward positioning of this product(MagSafe). I mean... yeah, it is still a cool product to use and sure the user experience is next level, but I can't belief the magnet is way too weak to provide a guaranteed attraction in most of the condition. Moreover, it doesn't matter either you are using cable or MagSafe, still we have cable behind our phone, which makes the difference between using cable or MagSafe rather similar. Apple have pen for iPad Pro, that's cool, the feature of the pen was well rounded and powerful. but a magnet charger causing cable chaos on the table? • I can see a use case for this. When you're low on juice and need to charge your phone but your phone doesn't have a headphone jack, this will allow you to use the phone while wirelessly charging alongside using type c earphones. I don't like double dongles as they're have way worse sound quality and the better ones are expensive

  • Charging via wire allows more mobility than sticking a goddamn charging coil magnetically to the back of a phone. Also , there is nothing wireless about wireless charger anymore when you want the coil stuck to the back of the phone.

    • Also wireless charging heats the batter more so if u use it and charge wirelessly you batter will heat up a lot so the long-term battery life is gone

  • The idea is to substitute a normal cable charger so obviously is going to come up with the phone, if you want a normal base station you still have other choices but if they want to remove the cables this is the way to go and more convenient. I think it has more advantages than a normal cable and is an improvement

    • Look at the cables from the MagSafe chargers of the MacBooks. The force wont be too strong to make the cables break easily.

    • Yep. Especially knowing how weak past apple cables have been at the end. And when it does, replace the whole unit instead of a cable. And Apple claims to be environmentally friendly reducing e-waste
