Buckshot worked for the Ouachita County Sheriff's Office for more than 46 years. He came out of retirement after just four months to work for Camden police.

Respect to captain Smith, I'm a snow bird,I braggs on Camden and Arkansas most moral state in the country union of the Bible belt. There were time Camden average citizens didn't know what a police were until they finished school so sad how so much death and destruction in the country . Most elderly young than police Smith cannot walk safely in their on neighborhoods or other than church have a good night out a nation of killers what we are now I hope and pray that chief Smith work 30 more years God bless him and his comrades keeping Camden citizens safe.sir you are the real man thanks for your humanity service

I’m sure he would think it’s ridiculous, but he did say that “a badge and a gun doesn’t make you a cop. You gotta respect people.” That’s a lesson that need to be passed on to the new officers so the community won’t hate the police anymore. But sadly some won’t listen.

As a Police officer you can retire at any age once you do at least 20 years. He could have retired 30 years ago if he wanted.
@@adrianbruce6736 That’s not what I was getting at. Here, there is an upper age limit to serve, beyond which you must retire and have no choice in the matter. I’m assuming this is to ensure that all active officers are fit enough to deal with any situation they come across.
