According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), children under the age of 16 should not use treadmills. This is because treadmills are not designed for children's smaller bodies and their lack of coordination and balance, which can put them at risk of injury. please inform the prosecution team
Justice for Corey! Of all the times the dad faked crying during the Go on over the autopsy. Now there were other times he should have cried like him putting that child on and on and on that treadmill but he didn’t he just cries a little bit because he wants sympathy. On top of that he was looking up at the jurors to see if they were looking at him!

What child can run for 4 minutes straight and not tire fast. The father knew this was an impossible feat and tortured Corey, knowing he'd be exhausted, turned the speed up and increased the incline. What a monster. Makes me wonder how long dad was doing this to this poor little soul. This wasn't the first of dad's torture I'm sure

It does look like he was in fact trying to please his dad. He was trying to keep up with the increasing speed until he just couldn’t anymore. He was trying to do what he was told and obey his dad. He didn’t appear to be arguing, objecting or fighting back. He didn’t voluntarily get off the machine and refuse to comply. He was obeying his dad, trying to be a good boy and please him. Until he couldn’t. We all know it wasn’t voluntary. We all know the dad was being a bully and pushing the kid. But anyone with kids know if they don’t want to do something they can and will put up a good fight. And we didn’t see that hear, so it seems as though he was trying to please his dad, which is the saddest part of all of this. He probably wanted his dads love and approval so badly.

Once news circulates inside prison about what he did…. There is only so much they can do to protect him… for a time he may be in solitary for protection… but I guarantee he will be eventually thrown into general population, once a certain amount of time has passed. Sage I agree with you that goes for women to! I think they should remove children from their parents homes at first sign of abuse. He had suffered from chronic abuse including blunt impact injuries on his chest and abdomen with a laceration on his heart, left pulmonary contusion, and laceration and contusion of his liver. He suffered an acute traumatic injury to the heart about four to 12 hours before he died, according to Dr. Thomas Andrew._
That's cause that's the only open proof we have of how the father treated him. It's better than nothing and still the asshole, his lawyers and some of the media are still trying to cast shade on the mother.

This poor boy was running at full tilt and still the Dad increased the speed, causing the boy to go flying off the end. Why did the Dad think his Son could get on a moving treadmill, over and over again?? being thrown back off - that was torture to watch and hell for the poor boy.
A child shouldn’t be in any fitness or weight room. Just being there is bad enough. There’s absolutely no reason a child would ever need to be on a treadmill or lifting weights or anything similar. They’re children. They’re already growing. They’re in shape. Go outside and play.

I’m 34, I had an ear infection two days ago which brought about a fever. My father was worried sick over something so minute! Because that’s what parents do! If I saw my little child fall once, I will go over and protect them and make sure they’re alright. I hope this “man” gets life imprisonment as to never father another child again!

My sister and her husband have been trying desperately to have a baby for the last 15 years. Nonetheless, they daily look for advice and educate themselves of how to take care of a son or daughter mentally and physically. They wanna be prepared and loving and thdn you see this reckless monster

Not only did that guy, who calls himself a "father", increase the speed to a high level but he also increased the incline so his son was also running uphill. Then when his son flew off the treadmill he grabbed his son's clothes in an aggressive manner to dump him back on to the treadmill. It also looked like he bit his son's head whilst doing so to cause his little son even more pain and suffering. If this is what we see then god knows what other evils this guy has put his son through where and when no one else can see. That guy should be made to run on the treadmill at the same speed and incline he set for his poor wee boy. Disgracefull.

If we suspect something wrong for our child “ mothers can’t sleep, eat, work or focus on even daily mundane tasks we become zombies we become super conscious do all kinds of cop works until we find out what’s going wrong in our child’s daily life or talk to child find out what he is doing every second when he is with his father or spy every minute especially when child is this small 6 years is still a baby we won’t be able to live normally till entire picture is caught without missing any pieces. Until we remove that traumatic part from our child’s life we won’t stop that’s how mothers usually are. I won’t call and report then simply mind my work. I am not able to trust the child’s mother here. There is something more here.

Exactly! If I told my daughters to get on that treadmill and run for hours they would look at me crazy and tell me yeah I'm not doing that. He was so scared of his dad that even after falling he got right back up and tried to get back on. Over and over again. I didn't even see that poor baby cry when he was biting the top of his head. I'm heart broken for his mother. She tried to save him. Again, they failed her and that baby boy.
6 year old will only complain ? No, They do more. They will throw things at you, yell, scream, do tantrums and seriously nobody can control a 6 year old if they rebel against parents acts unless they themselves wish to. This is how 6 year olds will be. But here this child is behaving like an adult who is traumatised severely by following commands like an robot.

My daughter had heart failure and she couldn't even walk on one as a 17yr old. This is disgusting what he was doing and not doubt a part of a regime of abuse and starvation for him to die like he did.

Just imagine... 6 years old. Sad. The fact that you are big in body doesn't mean you are ready to be a parent. Many parents are troubled children at heart. Can you imagine what the poor child suffered at home where it's private?
The mum was fighting for custody and even called cps months before this about suspected abuse. The kid had bite marks and such yet the judge dismissed it and gave the kid back to his father. The judge must also be held accountable. Had the judge done his job properly and not ignored the clear signs of abuse, this child could have been saved.
The he fact that he can watch it and show a single drip, drop, gram, ounce of sadness or remorse speaks volumes to the kind of monster he is.

Yes. He was biting his head according to some of the headlines I've read about this case. My guess is it's not the first time. He probably chose the top of the head because his hair would cover the bruising and no one would ever know.

It’s obviously a private gym in a condominium or apartment building. Most of those places are usually unattended and have no one working in them as they are for residents only. Regular gyms would never allow this

Autopsy found a lacerated liver and i can clearly see when that happened when he fell on his stomach numerous times. The fact that this boy got up and ran again numerous times tells me that even through that ungodly pain, he tried to please his dad which shows that hes done this before. Unbelievable.
Glad there was a camera to show what the dad did to this child. I am an adult and couldn't run at those speeds sustained on a treadmill. Putting the child back on a moving treadmill and making him continue to get back on when he is 6 and doesn't know to step on the rails is definitely abusive. That a judge gave him to this man is incredibly sad. I am really hoping that this jury comes back with a guilty.

Gyms should never be left alone for criminals . Why wasn’t anyone supervising? Some years ago , a woman was assaulted at the gym when she was alone midnight . Why do they leave an enclosed public places like this with dangerous equipment like weights, dumbbells to make it easy for criminals to use against their victims?

Good point. I think the DA will interview a reprentative of the manufacturer for these details. I think that minor children are probably not allowed to use apartment gym equipment. This was preventable had the perpetrator simply obeyed gym rules. He had no regard for the rules.

Well, not quite, if he didn't know how to shut it off, slow it down or stand on the rails. It's a MACHINE, and NOT for kids. The machine is NOT stopping for you. I've gotten my shoe caught. It's scary to have to leap off. I'm lucky it didn't get caught UNDER the belt

I’m sure his Dad taught him nothing about how to stop the treadmill. He wanted to have total control. But you can tell he had been on it many times and was skilled at it. The monster made sure there wasn’t an ounce of fat on this poor kid.

What that poor baby went through breaks my heart. A parent is supposed to protect their children. This father did the opposite. He murdered his son. I hope the judge spares no mercy and gives him the death penalty.
I noticed the treadmill adjusted to an incline ( which the dad did) that is when the child running stance increased causing his fall. Did he bite the child on the head too? Also, dad was NOT working out too hard, he was pacing back and forth as if already angry. This is child abuse no doubt , did it cause childs death 12 days later is the question . He is a bad dad and man, but he may not be found guilty due to mother signing out child from ER against medical advice when child " might" have sepsis. There is no " might" with sepsis. You either have it or don't have it . The whole system failed this child .
There was no sepsis diagnosed when she took him to the ER. Sepsis was mentioned in the autopsy.
