Support this project on Patreon: / melodysheep | The biggest question of our time. Are we alone? Chapter 1 of this experience takes you to alien worlds and distant places in time and space, in search of where alien life might be hiding and what our place is within the history of life. After generations of wondering, the truth is finally within our reach. New research and technologies have brought us closer than ever to an answer - only a few decades in the eyes of some NASA scientists.
The search has led to new discoveries that will blow your mind wide open and give a profound new perspective on human life. The deeper we look, the deeper we see into nature's imagination, and the more we learn about ourselves. I hope stewing on these thoughts tickles your brain as deeply as it does mine.
In upcoming chapters of Life Beyond we will explore making contact with intelligent life, the potential physics of alien biology, how to survive the end of the universe, and more. Follow and support my creative journey on Patreon: / melodysheep
Big thanks to Protocol Labs for their support of this creation: protocol.ai/

I wanted to follow up Timelapse of the Future with a more optimistic perspective of human life and our place in the history of the universe. We really do live in a privileged moment and we have a remarkable opportunity to shape the future. Finding alien life will contextualize our own existence, and open our eyes to what else nature has dreamt up beyond our ourselves, potentially bestowing huge breakthroughs in science, technology, and philosophy.

    • Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but the internet travels at light speed, this means that it would take 4 years for the internet to reach Proxima Centauri, yea, the web will never be interstellar Bro I barely remember writing this and to think it was only 7 months ago, crazy. Anyways, the system could exist to transport data, but it would be far to expensive for its use. NOW HOWEVER, if humans were to only colonize the solar system, very likely, then a united web browser could exist. We got plenty of room and resources that we barely even know what to do with. Just a little ingenuity can go a long way, humans didn't dare live on Antarctica in the past, but look where we are now

    • @Marco Hernandez There's already theories on utilizing quantum entanglement to create FTL communications, and while we'll likely never get truly real-time comms across interstellar distances, we can very likely get usable communication methods via quantum entanglement. Picture something like the Ansible from Ender's Game, which also works via quantum entanglement. It's an exaggerated version, but the idea behind it is plausible.

Maybe "we" could even be millions of years ahead in progress and evolution, and of course Space exploration, if natural selection didn't have to wait for another dominant species to rise from ashes. Or even already extinct from millions years... Of course, that doesn't mean that "reptilian I" would be born and post this comment, but in the field of probability, I could be a "reptilian me" stating the exact same concept. After having sat through the "end of the universe" in your video "TIMELAPSE OF THE FUTURE: A Journey to the End of Time", I now look forward to watching Chs 2 & 3 of "Life Beyond"! Your graphics are stellar (pardon the pun) and even your commentary has me wondering about the future fate of humanity...provided we don't destroy ourselves altogether. THANK YOU, for your talent and creativity in sharing this future vision with us. It definitely gives one pause, yes?
