  • Ah mixed tapes! I do not ever want to go back to stereos and walk-mans, but dammit mixed tapes were great - Just the effort it took to make them, picking out the perfect songs for yourself, for a friend, a crush, a trip.... And then actually making them.... Having a meltdown, because you forgot to put a clean tape in, so you can't record your favourite song, that's playing on the radio right now.... When I think about it, it sounds positively awful compared to now.... but the joy of finishing the perfect mix tape was something else....

They could easily take a Hessian bag and make them look spectacular. I once heard Janice Dickinson tell a model that she was little more than a "coat hanger" and to get over herself. That says it all, really.

      @mastertrams@mastertrams7 ай бұрын
    • You can blame men all day - it won't change the fact that women killed the gentleman and ''wooing'' not men. By ignoring the Gentleman, and chasing after a$$holes, you destroyed the Gentleman, why should a man ''woo'' a woman who looks at it as some form of weakness, or worse creepy, then jump into bed with bad boys, drug dealers, and general POS. Women caused this issue not men, and if women want this behaviour back, then one you best become worthy of that kind effort, repay that kind of effort and most importantly ignore the bad boy type and stop F'ing them. As when you reward them with sex over a Gentleman, you turn most men into those a$$holes because they get the fun, and the rest just become indifferent to women in general. So this is a problem caused by women, and only fixable by women. But I won't hold my breath in any of you understanding this, let alone desire to fix the issue, will just keep blaming men.

  • Hi Russell, I have followed your work on various outlets for many years and have always enjoyed your ribald humour, I have considered mockery one of the highest form of wit and about the most penetrating style of criticism. On the topic of the stress that children have to endure in these 'modern decadent times I do agree!, nearly fifty years ago in early adult life I decided that if at all possible I would swerve fatherhood altogether because I thought then as I think now that regardless of my best efforts any children will have a very bad time!. There are so many underlying causes that I really think there is no reason for any hope or good future, it looks as if the human race is doomed by its own hand!. In spite of this understanding I have had an absolutely wonderful life so far, with even the joy of sharing a family with my wife and her first husband, followed by the grandchildren the whole works, all without the need to be a father!. All this in spite of my pessimistic outlook, because of course I am just as much a normal human being with many of the same contradictions as any one else, the thing that has really kept me going is the laughs! along the way!. Sometimes I suggest I might have been among the last dinosaurs in an earlier incarnation ,when the asteroid hit, and thought that was funny then!. Cheers, Richard.

    • @@AquarianAgeApostle Yep, I have to agree - I watched the whole show and I have to say, after a while, the constant jumping around and yelling started to annoy me. Edit: Brilliant, now I'm thinking about Richard the hamster Hammond, who is not even a real hamster. This won't be a problem, that sentence revolving around my head, as I get back to work, nono.... Thanks for that. ;D

  • I am super skinny, it's not something i can do much about. Since i just can't gain much weight, but tbh the sight of ribs creeps me out. I can see my own a bit and it just kinda makes me gag a little.

  • I will be 65 on Halloween, I gave a dating site one last chance, it didn’t go well! I have my hair short because it’s easier to take care plus hot flashes are not fun! The first man I talk to wanted to know if my hair is still short as pictured and why? Obviously men are still picky and must change a woman! I’m not looking for another husband, but a little male championship would be nice! I’ll keep adding years to abstinence!

    • I think the abstinence idea is a good one. Probably best for you and the men you might spend time with.
