  • As a learning 3D modeller, the 3D animations hurt. Its clear that the people making them had a poor understanding of the software, and little to no understanding of how to properly animate. Blender, atleast, has many shortcuts in the rigging, texturing, and animating process. You only have to rig 1 side of a mesh, and Blender can automatically fill out the other side. Procedural textures (Generated with shader node magic and math) can easily be used to texture models in seconds. And animation can be done in minutes, if you rig properly. Moving an arm to the desired location, and placing a keyframe, Blender fills in the actual movement internally, only needing you to specify destinations. Even the lighting was hot garbage, which is generally really easy to do. The first person didnt even try, and just used a generic female model. The second person actually modeled Jazmine, but clearly isnt good at stylization. However they did atleast didnt do the same _disgrace_ half the animators did to that poor snake.

    @pauldeddens5349@pauldeddens53493 жыл бұрын
    • yep I'm creating a video game & literaly after 50-100hrs of blender I was able to fully rig & animate things (ok takes me time & have done no facial rig) but still we can tell it's scam when people sells them selves as specialists of the topic

    • As an animator, I can guarantee animation can't be done in minutes. A SHITTY animation, like all the animation in this video, of course.

      @nickpancakes2630@nickpancakes26303 жыл бұрын
    • All of those things takes more time to do well than you are saying and is a lot harder than that to do right. For some people one of those steps might be their whole job (texturing, rigging, etc). Don't underplay the value of good artistry and the effort it takes.

    • @@kioku618 This is scam. I have been watching hours of tuto from many differents peoples & what they have done is clarly not worth the price they sell it. I worked for a Christian Rapper for some money before plus afew free things for him too. I got maybe $200 more or less. It's been afew years. Puntin Blame It On God ft Slim Thug is still up if you search it. I would probably charge $20 an hour because animation is time consuming. And not sure if I would use Fiver or not. Maybe. But usually I just hit people up, share a post that lets people know what I do, or they hit me up through word of mouth. Puntin referred me to some peeps before.

  • I ordered a logo for $15 on there just to test it out, didn’t wanna go to cheap like $5 or waste too much money. The guy was alright, responded quick and delivered within 24 hours, which I did find it weird since he had over 110 orders ahead of mine at the time. He also was one of the people on the front page with a 4.9 star rating and 40,000+ ratings so I trusted he knew what he was doing but I was wrong. This guy sends me 2 logos, both kinda trash and not really what I asked for but I decided to go with one but wanted a miner retouch with one letter, didn’t expect him to need to spend more than 15 minutes on it since it was such a small change, he took about a day and a half to resend the new version and guess what? He literally just edited out the whole letter and DREW the new one by hand, it didn’t look symmetrical like the rest of the logo and when I zoomed into it, it was pixelated while the rest of the logo wasn’t. So I came to the conclusion that he doesn’t design logos, all he does is uses a software that generates them for him within seconds but he has no idea how actually edit himself nor how to create a logo. Basically a scammer that thousands of people fall for everyday and Fiverr keeps him on the first page.

    @dimaisatree@dimaisatree4 жыл бұрын
    • Sadly, Fiverr is like that. My studio is struggling because the algorithm pushes the scammers to the front page, while the hard-working artists either end up on Fiverr Pro where they charge 1000$, and the rest end up at the bottom of the searches. No in-between thing.

  • I am from Germany and I also tried working on this type of site. A few of my poems got published. I also won a lot of prizes for them. So I decided to try selling poems. My gig was called something along the lines of "I will write a poem on any topic" and included all the references I had at this time. My first order was a woman who wanted a poem with about 1000 words, which is more than I offered, but I wanted a high star rating so I did it anyway. After spending a long time writing it, she answered and refused to pay, because she thought the lines did not rhyme (they did, I am not an idiot). I asked her which ones, but she never answered. The support just deleted her rating, but the money was lost. This happend a few times (people not paying, straight up ignoring me or wanting a refund without a specific reason). It is sad that many more or less talented artists do not get the credit, payment or ratings they deserve, while weak and overpriced offers often get boosted by algorythm...

    • thats what scammers do, they order stuff then take the product and cancel order. fiverr or other market place will always take the buyers side no matter what

    • yep something unfortunate happened to me too as an artist. He started to ask for revisions only after i finished the entire chibi drawing. I told him, i don't want to continue the commission anymore, and he can just go away and take the drawing for free. I don't wanna exhaust myself with late noticed revisions.I also saw his rate history to other artist, he seem to be that dick who gives low rating and can't be satisfied, so i'm glad i cancelled it so he can't rate me. Besides his budget is so low to even deserve revisions. After that I blocked him, so he won't come and find me again.

    • I wonder if theres a way to put copyright logos on documents like poems before sending them out. That would at least feel more safer. Like how you put logos that cannot be removed on videos.

    • @Feel-!T and also maybe communicate with them to give them feedback instead of just saying "I trust whatever you do." They have to know when you like something and when you don't, what you would prefer to have changed, etc. I do this sort of communication all the time when I do commissions on IMVU. If someone wants me to make them a new hairstyle color, I don't just say, "Here it is, like it or lump it." Rather, I make the color, apply it to the hairstyle mesh, and send them pics of the work in progress; "Here's what it looks like with 2 highlights and here it is with three. Is the color what you wanted, or are you looking for something darker/lighter/with more contrast?" I think it would make a difference if, when commissioning art on Fiverr, you tell them "I'd like something that looks like this animation trailer you posted. Is that possible in this time frame/for this price?" And when they give you something that looks like a stop-motion Poser figure, you can say "That's not what I paid for."

    • I think the point of this video doesn’t showcase Fiver is a waste rod money, but rather spending $300 for 3D animation is going to get you crummy quality. Animation takes a lot of time and work. For high quality you need to think about spending at least over $1,000 if not more.
